Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 158: Elias Mind Was Sealed?
The difference between a Demon’s Domain and a Soul Mage’s Domain was simple—
A Demon’s Domain could kill.
The Gu worms froze mid-air.
Paralyzed by Luke’s overwhelming might, their tiny instincts screamed in terror.
And then—
Golden flames ignited their bodies.
Even with their fire resistance, they only lasted a second before turning to ash.
Luke turned away, disinterested.
But in the distance—
A piercing scream rang out.
"LUKE!! HELP!!"
It was Tina Baine.
Luke’s face darkened.
The shopping district’s upper floor was completely surrounded by Gu worms.
He vanished in an instant, rushing toward the location.
As expected—
The insect-men weren’t after him.
Their real target was Elias Vaughn.
Luke’s perception was razor-sharp. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Even from a distance, he could clearly hear Tina Baine’s frightened voice.
The Instant Gate flickered—
And in the blink of an eye, Luke appeared beside her.
Tina stood frozen, her face pale, as she stared at the swarm of flying insects surrounding her.
But even more terrifying—
Elias Vaughn’s body was completely wrapped in writhing, densely packed Gu worms.
It was as if these insects were trying to invade his body.
"Gu worms... resistant to spiritual power?"
Luke’s eyes narrowed as he observed the scene.
With Elias’ combat strength, there was no way these tiny, weak insects should have gotten this close.
Unless...
They had near-immunity to sound-based magic.
To cultivate Gu worms at this level, the organization behind them had to be exceptionally powerful.
But Luke didn’t waste time thinking—
He immediately summoned the Cursed Demon Pool.
Thick black mist spread out, shrouding the entire floor.
The moment the insects were touched by the dark demonic energy, they screeched—
And fell off Elias’ body, sinking into the black abyss of the Demon Pool.
"Shhh!!!"
Suddenly—
A few of the remaining Gu worms on Elias’ forehead began to swell—
Then burst open.
A demonic head formed from the insects’ remains, its twisted mouth roaring at Luke.
At the same time, a dark curse spread across Elias’ body.
A curse-based Gu worm.
Unfortunately for it, no curse could ever harm Luke.
In mere seconds, the demon’s avatar was engulfed by the cursed demonic energy—
And dragged into the depths of the Demon Pool.
"Elias, are you alright?"
Elias slowly opened his dazed blue eyes, blinking in confusion.
"Luke... what happened to me?"
"You don’t remember?" Luke asked.
Elias furrowed his brows, trying to recall.
"All I remember is... a swarm of bugs rushing toward me.
"My Requiem Sound didn’t work on them... they just clung to me.
"Then... nothing."
Elias shook his head.
"Tina, is that what happened?"
Luke turned to Tina Baine, who still looked shaken.
"Yeah, Luke... those bugs were terrifying!"
Her voice trembled.
Between demons and bugs, she would much rather deal with demons.
Because at least demons didn’t crawl all over your body.
Tens of thousands of wriggling, grotesque flying insects?
That was beyond disgusting.
"You two, stop watching the show. Come check this out."
Luke glanced toward Perola and Laura Adams.
If these insects were capable of erasing memories, there was only one type of Gu worm Luke could think of—
The Black Holy See’s "Forget-Me Worm".
And if anyone had insight into forbidden curses, it was these two fallen angels.
"Oh? You’re actually calling for us?"
Perola chuckled.
"If you’re not coming willingly, we’ll just make you work," Luke replied casually.
Perola rolled her eyes but stepped forward.
"Fine. Let’s take a look."
She placed her fingertips against Elias’ forehead.
Immediately—
Her pupils darkened, and black mist seeped from her fingers, flowing into Elias’ body through his nostrils and ears.
Elias flinched.
"Luke, what the hell is she doing?"
"It’s fine. She’s checking for any remaining bugs inside your body."
Luke reassured him.
Elias hesitated—
Then sighed and stopped resisting.
After ten seconds, Perola pulled her hands back.
Her pupils returned to normal, and all traces of dark energy withdrew.
"Your little boyfriend isn’t as simple as he looks," Perola smirked.
"There’s a strong seal inside his spiritual world.
"At least I can’t break it."
Luke frowned.
A spiritual world seal?
That level of protection wasn’t ordinary.
Who the hell sealed Elias’ mind?
"Those bugs wouldn’t have broken through it yet—but given enough time, they would have invaded his brain."
Perola added.
"A seal?"
Luke narrowed his eyes.
Sealing techniques were rare and highly advanced.
Especially ones targeting the spiritual realm.
Even some Forbidden Spells couldn’t achieve that level of precision.
"Elias, for your own safety, you need to tell me everything."
Luke stepped closer, his voice lowering into a whisper.
He couldn’t always be by Elias’ side.
The only way to truly protect him was to find and destroy the mastermind behind these insect warriors.
Elias hesitated.
"I... I can’t just tell you everything..."
His hands clenched into fists, his blue eyes darting around in uncertainty.
Luke’s gaze didn’t waver.
"If something happens to you, what will happen to your grandfather?"
"Wasn’t he waiting for you to save him?"
Elias stiffened.
His body trembled slightly.
He was clearly struggling with a decision.
"Fine," Elias said finally.
"I’ll tell you... but only if you promise to keep it a secret until we reach my grandfather."
Luke nodded.
"Fair enough."
Elias took a deep breath.
"In my village, we cultivate a special type of Gu worm."
"When combined with flute music, it can control undead creatures."
"One day, a group of outsiders came, demanding we hand over the technique.
"But my grandfather refused—he said they weren’t worthy of the inheritance."
"So... they attacked."
"My grandfather drove them away, but he was badly injured in the fight."
Elias’ voice shook with anger.
Luke’s expression darkened.
"So you left home... to find this special Gu worm—hoping to heal your grandfather?"
Elias nodded.
"Gu worms that control the undead..."
Luke murmured.
That ability was far too rare.
It was essentially an extra contract-based summoning ability.
If news about it spread, countless organizations and sects would fight over it.
"You must have used that power to save someone before."
