Beauties in Simulation Cross over into Reality-Chapter 138 - 123: What a Load of Bullshit
Bai Ruxue’s brow furrowed as chains formed from scrolls coiled toward her, seeking to bind her.
Just as she was about to channel her Demonic Power to resist, a majestic, ink-black dragon coalesced and shot up from Xiao Mo’s side, crashing into the chains and instantly shattering the links of Spiritual Power.
Xiao Mo stepped forward and gave a solemn bow to Duanya Academy’s Director, Lu Chao. In a low voice, he said, "Academy Director, there must be a misunderstanding!"
"We can discuss whether or not there’s a misunderstanding later," Lu Chao said, shaking his head. He then ordered the academy’s instructors, "Apprehend them!"
Upon hearing the command, the instructors of Duanya Academy exchanged hesitant glances.
Although they didn’t know the full story, the Academy Director’s order could not be questioned. They quickly closed in, surrounding Bai Ruxue and Xiao Mo.
"ROAR!"
A furious roar shook the heavens and the earth.
Bai Ruxue instantly revealed her true form—a colossal, majestic, snow-white Flood Dragon.
Along with this draconic cry, a vast wave of dragon might spread out, instantly knocking the encroaching academy instructors off balance and forcing them to scatter back.
"Xiao Mo, there’s no way Xiao Qing could have done something like that! There must be a hidden story behind this. We need to leave, now!" Bai Ruxue’s massive dragon head turned toward Xiao Mo, her voice urgent and firm.
"I know."
Xiao Mo nodded without hesitation. With a flicker of movement, he leaped onto Bai Ruxue’s broad draconic head.
Bai Ruxue let out a long cry. With a powerful swing of her massive body, she soared into the sky, flying rapidly north toward the North Sea.
Duanya Academy’s Director, Lu Chao, watched Bai Ruxue’s colossal form recede into the distance. With a grave expression, he extended a finger and pointed remotely at the clouds where she had vanished.
In an instant, the heavy, ink-black clouds in the sky began to roil and converge frantically.
The clouds finally coalesced into an immense, ink-black Giant Sword radiating a sharp, murderous aura, aimed straight at Bai Ruxue.
In mid-air, Bai Ruxue merely glanced back coldly at the approaching Giant Sword.
Then, with a mighty whip, she swung her massive, scale-covered tail!
"BOOM!"
A tremendous crash resounded.
The ink-black Giant Sword, formed from Vast Righteous Qi, was smashed to pieces by the force of her tail, dissipating into a shower of black motes of light.
Immediately after, an even clearer cry, filled with warning, echoed across the world as Bai Ruxue’s enormous figure vanished completely among the clouds on the horizon.
"There’s no need to pursue."
Seeing several of the academy instructors about to give chase, Lu Chao slowly raised a hand and stopped them with a deep voice.
"Teacher, are we... really not going after them?"
A personal disciple standing by Lu Chao’s side asked in a low, worried voice.
"There’s no need."
Lu Chao slowly shook his head, his gaze profound as he looked toward the North Sea.
"This matter is indeed full of strange circumstances. Though I don’t know what the higher-ups at the Confucian Academy are plotting, it is enough for Duanya Academy to simply put on a show for now."
...
High in the sky, Bai Ruxue carried Xiao Mo on her back, riding the wind as she flew toward the North Sea with all her might.
Both Xiao Mo on her back and Bai Ruxue, flying at full speed, felt their hearts grow heavy.
"Ruxue," Xiao Mo’s voice carried over the howling wind. "If it really comes to a fight later, don’t hold back. Just use your full strength."
Bai Ruxue’s massive draconic body paused imperceptibly in the air before she responded in a low, solemn tone:
"Xiao Mo, I understand. But... Xiao Mo, I’m going to find a place to drop you off first. I’m afraid the situation in the North Sea is already extremely dangerous."
"There’s no need."
Xiao Mo’s tone was exceptionally firm.
"My Cultivation has reached the Nascent Soul Realm now. I can be of some help.
Besides, I am Mr. Qi’s disciple.
As the junior brother of the Confucian Academy’s Palace Master, my teacher still has some influence within the Academy. They wouldn’t dare do anything to me."
"Alright..." Bai Ruxue knew Xiao Mo’s temperament and understood she couldn’t persuade him. She could only agree reluctantly, but still added a worried warning, "But if something unexpected happens, you absolutely must not act rashly."
"We’ll see what the situation is then," Xiao Mo replied ambiguously, not giving a direct promise.
Bai Ruxue said no more. Pushing her Lifebound Divine Abilities to their limit, her speed suddenly increased again.
In a little over two hours, the vast, boundless territory of the North Sea appeared in their sights.
A salty, fishy sea breeze blew toward them, and both Xiao Mo and Bai Ruxue frowned.
Mixed in the wind was the nauseatingly thick stench of blood.
At the same time, violent and chaotic fluctuations of Spiritual Power rippled out continuously from the center of the North Sea.
As they continued to fly toward the heart of the battle, the sight before them made their hearts sink even further.
The once clear, azure seawater was now stained red with vast patches of blood. The surface was littered with the mangled corpses of countless Sea Demons.
"Xiao Mo... you still can’t go," Bai Ruxue said slowly.
As Bai Ruxue’s words fell, the seawater shot up without warning, forming a Water Prison that trapped Xiao Mo inside.
"Ruxue, let me out!" Xiao Mo demanded with a frown.
"Xiao Mo." Bai Ruxue looked at Xiao Mo, her eyes full of tenderness. "I’ll be right back..."
With that, Bai Ruxue hesitated no longer. Her colossal dragon body coiled once in the air and shot forward like a streak of white light.
As Bai Ruxue rapidly approached, she could clearly see several enormous, blindingly bright Arrays slowly rotating and expanding across the sky, emitting a destructive aura.
Beneath the Arrays, a Cyan Flood Dragon covered in wounds was letting out an unyielding roar as it charged defiantly at the oppressive formation above.
Although this Cyan Flood Dragon was covered in grievous injuries, with large patches of scales peeled away to reveal raw flesh, her pair of cyan vertical pupils showed not a trace of cowardice.
"BOOM!!!"
From the center of the suspended Array, a terrifying bolt of lightning as thick as a mountain descended with space-rending power, striking down toward the battered Cyan Flood Dragon below.
In her current state and Realm, Xiao Qing was completely powerless to block this fatal blow!
At the last possible moment, Bai Ruxue appeared in front of her sister. She opened her draconic maw, and a jet of impossibly condensed Dragon Breath erupted, instantly colliding with the world-ending thunderbolt!
"BOOM!"
The Frosty Dragon Breath and the Furious Thunderbolt collided violently, erupting in a blinding white light.
Not only did the Dragon Breath instantly annihilate the thunderbolt, but its remaining force continued onward unabated, slamming into the Array in the sky and blasting a hole straight through the massive formation.
"Sister... you have to get out of here!" Seeing the familiar figure in front of her, Xiao Qing’s huge dragon eyes showed no joy, only worry and anxiety.
"Trying to leave? Hmph, it’s too late!"
Ding Chen slowly stepped forward, looking down on them from above.
"What is the meaning of this, Confucian Academy?!"
Bai Ruxue suppressed the rage boiling in her chest. Though her voice was like ice, her fury caused the entire North Sea to churn with monstrous waves.
"The World of Ten Thousand Laws signed a treaty with the North Sea in good faith, hoping for peace between our sides. But we never imagined that you of the North Sea would lay an ambush to murder my junior brother and slaughter the disciples of my Confucian Academy!"
"What a load of fucking bullshit!"
Xiao Qing’s draconic body trembled with rage as she roared, ignoring her injuries.
"It was clearly you hypocrites who didn’t want the North Sea to remain neutral, all so you could wipe out my North Sea Demon Race.
You were even ruthless enough to poison and kill your own fellow disciples just to frame the North Sea!
To be so vicious and unscrupulous—aren’t you afraid of divine retribution?"
Listening to the confrontation between this "Companion Saint and Sage" of the Confucian School, Ding Chen, and her own sister, Bai Ruxue finally understood the truth of the matter.
"Hmph, enough talk! You demons can just accept your fate and die!"
Ding Chen snorted coldly and his hands rapidly formed a series of seals for his Techniques.
An ancient, heavy Sword Box, shimmering with a faint light, slowly flew out from his wide Confucian sleeves.
"I call upon the Dragon-slaying Sword!"
With a CLANG, the Sword Box opened on its own.
In that instant, a terrifying pressure that seemed to drain the color from the very world spread out.
A greatsword—jet black, ancient in design, its blade seeming to flow with a dark red, bloody light—slowly rose from the Sword Box.
The aura emanating from this greatsword filled Bai Ruxue and the other Flood Dragons with alarm and terror, as if they had encountered their natural predator.
The so-called "Dragon-slaying Swords" hung beneath bridges all over the world were all based on this prototype.
In other words, this Supreme Immortal Soldier enshrined by the Confucian Academy was the progenitor of all Dragon-slaying Swords in existence.
Legend had it that during the first, brutal Great Human-Demon War, the Hundred Schools of Thought had poured all their efforts and countless Heavenly and Earthly Treasures into jointly forging this peerless, vicious weapon, created specifically to slaughter the Dragon Race.
This sword had been stained with the blood of five or six ancient True Dragons and had slain countless Flood Dragons.
"All of you, go!"
Bai Ruxue shouted to her sister and the other dragons.
"Sister... I’m not leaving! If we’re going to die, we’ll die together!" Xiao Qing stubbornly raised her dragon head, refusing to retreat even half a step.
"We are willing to live and die with Your Majesty!" the other Flood Dragons shouted in unison. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
"Staying here means death! Don’t hold me back! All of you, go!"
Bai Ruxue roared, glancing back in the direction she had come from. Then, she shot toward Ding Chen, that beast in human clothing, ready to kill.
