Beast World: The Villain Baby Is Not Conforming to the System!-Chapter 184: Scatterbrain and Grumpy
"Aowoo~" A young tiger rushed to the edge of the swimming pool, whimpering.
"Splash—" An icily blue tail emerged, slapping the water and sending splashes everywhere!
The young tiger’s sleek fur got wet, and it shook its fur repeatedly to shake off the water!
"Aow!" The little tiger stared at the pool accusingly.
Under the sunlight, the pool shimmered with twinkling light. A young girl broke through the water’s surface, tying her chestnut-colored hair behind the blue ears of her mermaid form.
The radiant girl lifted her face, droplets of water slowly trickling down her cheek, with tiny beads of water sparkling on her eyelashes.
"Aow! Sister, you’re bad!" The little tiger squatted beside the pool, looking at the pools of water around its paws as if it had encountered a deadly enemy!
Aowoo! So wet! I hate it!
If it were someone else, it would have bared its sharp claws!
But then again, she’s my sister.
Alright, I’ll forgive her!
"Hahaha!" Yu Manman rested her hand on the edge of the pool, "Ruirui, you’re so adorable!"
Song Jingrui was Yu Manman’s brother, slightly over three years old, inheriting the bloodline of their third father.
Song Jingrui closed his eyes, raising his chin proudly, "Hmph! Flattery won’t make me any less angry!"
"Alright, alright! Don’t be mad! Next time, I promise I won’t do it again! How about I take you to get Ao Ao’s figurines later?" Yu Manman propped her chin on one hand, her eyes full of amusement.
Her brother was really adorable!
"Really?" Song Jingrui flicked his tail, peeking one eye open to secretly glance at his sister.
He had been eyeing his brother’s figurines for a long time! But his brother wouldn’t lend them to him!
So stingy!
"Of course it’s true!" Yu Manman nodded, "Would your sister lie to you?"
Song Jingrui laughed, "Alright, then I won’t be angry! But no next time!"
Looking at the puddles on the ground, Song Jingrui was about to explode!
"Mm-hmm!" Yu Manman nodded repeatedly.
"Sister, I heard it..."
Suddenly, Yu Manman heard a slightly hoarse, resentful voice from a boy.
Her back stiffened. Oh no, Jiao Ao heard them!
"Hi, Aoao!" Yu Manman waved at him.
The twelve-year-old boy was already nearly 1.7 meters tall, with looks seven-tenths like Atier’s—a well-behaved little boy.
And her and Jiao Ao, you could see a slight resemblance in their features, but now his expression was tinged with a bit of grievance.
Every time Sister upset the little brother, she just used his figurines to pacify him.
Hmph, he’s no longer Sister’s favorite brother!
Facing Jiao Ao’s gloomy gaze, Yu Manman smiled sheepishly, "Aoao, don’t be mad! I’ll just borrow your figurines for a few days and quickly return them! I’ll also get you two new ones!"
Once she found identical ones, she would immediately send them to Aoao!
The young boy snorted, "Whatever! After all, the figurines were gifts from you."
Jiao Ao liked collecting figurines. When Yu Manman was outside, she’d collect attractive ones to give to Jiao Ao. Most of the figurines in his room were actually gifts from her.
He glanced at the chubby little tiger, with a look of triumph in his eyes.
Hmph, Sister still likes him the most! Even if she took his figurines, she’d still give him plenty more!
Song Jingrui bared his teeth secretly at his brother behind Yu Manman’s back, then turned to look innocently at Yu Manman, "Sister, I want some too!"
"Alright, alright!" Yu Manman nodded repeatedly.
Yu Manman remembered, next time she bought gifts, she must buy two!
"Sister, Shang Yu’s brother is here, probably to discuss school with you," Jiao Ao said calmly, with a touch of sarcasm, "Rui actually came to tell you about this, but ended up getting my figurines first."
Yu Manman played selectively deaf, "Okay, got it! Thanks, Aoao! I’ll be up in a bit!"
"Mm." Jiao Ao nodded, grabbing the little tiger and taking it away by force!
"Aowoo!" Tiger protested as it struggled.
Who said he could move him! He could walk on his own!
"Whap!" Jiao Ao slapped the tiger on the head, "Call me brother. You’re out of line. Only Sister and Mom can call me by my nickname!"
"Aowoo!" It’s a tiger’s call, who called him! Narcissist!
"Still calling?" Jiao Ao gave a retaliatory slap.
"Aowoo~" Song Jingrui withered, quietly fighting back, curling his tail in like a well-behaved big cat...
He wasn’t giving in, just avoiding trouble temporarily!
When he grew into a big tiger, he’d make that little panda bow before him! Aowoo! Woo woo woo woo!
Yu Manman propped herself up and successfully sat at the edge. She picked up the skirt beside her and slipped it over her fish tail, transforming it into legs, then put on her shoes and left the back yard.
"Shang Yu’s brother!" Yu Manman greeted Shang Yu, who was sitting in the living room, "I’m going upstairs to change clothes and I’ll be right down!"
Shang Yu wore a black shirt, the top few buttons undone to subtly reveal muscle lines. His gaze was gentle, his brow bone and nose bridge connected, giving his profile a chiseled appearance.
"No rush," he said, noticing Yu Manman’s wet hair, "dry your hair first before coming down."
"Alright!" Yu Manman went thump-thump-thump up the stairs, then suddenly remembered something and turned to look at Jiao Ao, who was leaning leisurely against the wall. "Aoao, remember to pour Shang Yu’s brother a glass of water!"
Jiao Ao grunted, "Got it."
He watched Yu Manman go upstairs, then turned his gaze to Shang Yu, focusing on the open collar of his shirt.
Ha.
Another one trying to take his sister away from him.
Jiao Ao poured a glass of plain water and set it in front of Shang Yu, "Here."
"Thank you." Shang Yu nodded.
Jiao Ao smiled indifferently, "You’re welcome, after all, you’re the ’guest’!"
That’s right, just a guest, an outsider!
Shang Yu acted as if he didn’t understand, sipping his water quietly while waiting for Yu Manman to come back down.
Yu Manman changed her clothes, dried her hair, and quickly came back down, "Sorry for making you wait, Shang Yu’s brother!"
"It wasn’t long," Shang Yu smiled, "We’re leaving for Jiuzhou University this afternoon, so I came to see if you’ve packed everything."
"I’m all ready!" Yu Manman put away her perfume, "What about you?"
"Yes, I’m all set," Shang Yu nodded. "This afternoon, I’ll drive over to pick you up."
Shang Yu had gotten his driving license as soon as he turned eighteen.
"Sounds good."
"Is Aunt not home?"
"They’re not..."
Jiao Ao watched his sister and Shang Yu chat happily, feeling sour inside, then turned his gaze to Song Jingrui, who was biting into a stuffed toy and drooling.
Tsk, a brainless tiger, always acting cute and naive in front of him and Sister to steal her attention. Now Shang Yu’s trying to take Sister from them, and he doesn’t even react.
"Useless..." Jiao Ao muttered, rolling his eyes and looking away.
Song Jingrui seemed to sense something, throwing aside the cotton-filled stuffed toy and tilting his head to look at his brother.
Why was Brother upset again?
He hadn’t done anything to upset Brother, right?
