Chapter 182: Chapter 182: Sixth Daddy

Yu Man waved her hand, "I’m fine."

She has always been in good physical shape and often worked out at home. Although she’s a bit tired, she can still get up after resting.

Yu Man looked at Lai, who was standing still and even appeared a bit stiff, and calmly said, "It’s good that you’re back."

Lai’s tense shoulders relaxed a bit, "Yes, I’m back, wife..."

"Aren’t you mad at me?" Lai’s lips trembled, thinking his wife would scold him.

Yu Man’s eyes showed a hint of pain. Seeing him like this, how could she bear to blame him?

Every time Yu Man thought of the photos and videos Esie had sent her, her heart ached.

"If it happens again, you don’t need to come home." Yu Man gave him a reproachful look. "It’s getting late, everyone must be hungry. Let’s just order dinner from a restaurant tonight."

"I’ll order!" Liang Siji immediately said.

That evening, they quietly had a family reunion dinner. There were no complaints, no blame, and no mention of what Lai had been going through recently.

"What name are we giving the young cub?" Guan Heng asked curiously.

"Jiao Ao, Jiao Ao·Hawke," Atier replied.

Atier’s full name is Atier·Hawke. They had agreed that if it was a male cub, it would take the father’s surname. If it was a female, it would take Yu Man’s surname.

Also, they decided to let fate decide about having more children, and if the wife didn’t want any more, they wouldn’t have any.

After giving birth, Yu Man would need at least three years to recuperate. Like Puslin and Atier, they could then have vasectomies. They wouldn’t want their wife to suffer more.

"That’s great!" Guan Heng nodded, "Jiao Ao..."

"Jiao Ao~"

A month later, Yu Manman came home from school and rushed straight into the nursery!

"Jiao Ao! Aoao~" Yu Manman scooped up the fluffy little panda cub in her arms!

Gently stroking~

"Oowoo~" The little panda snuggled in Yu Manman’s arms, poked out a furry head, and called out to her.

He stuck out his little tongue and licked Yu Manman’s face.

"Hahaha! Little brother is so cute!" Yu Manman was super happy!

She really liked her younger brother~

How could there be such an adorable little cub in the world?

Her brother, unlike the second father’s spirit body, had warmth and expressive little features that were far more vivid!

Yu Manman played with Jiao Ao for half an hour and then sat down to do some homework.

Jiao Ao was well-behaved and didn’t disturb his sister; he just lay by Yu Manman’s desk, watching her with his round eyes, occasionally flicking his tail.

Jiao Ao was very smart. Though he was only a month old, he’d already learned to control his transformations. Though he occasionally lost control, most of the time, he would remain in his beast form.

Jiao Ao understood clearly that his family loved him in this form!

"Manman, it’s time to eat."

"I’m coming!" Yu Manman put down her pen and carried Jiao Ao out with her!

Yu Manman called out to Guan Heng, who had just come from the kitchen, "Sixth Dad~"

Jiao Ao, cradled in Yu Manman’s arms, wagged his furry big tail and let out an "awoo," seemingly joining in with Yu Manman’s greeting.

"Ah!" Guan Heng’s smile nearly reached his ears.

Just a few days ago, Guan Heng had finally received his title, officially becoming Yu Man’s sixth beast husband!!

Yu Manman asked, "Sixth Dad, is Fourth Dad coming home for dinner today?"

Guan Heng took off his apron and shook his head at Yu Manman, "Your Fourth Dad won’t be coming."

Speaking of which, Lai hasn’t been home for a while.

Almost a week now.

Lai’s situation doesn’t seem to be very good.

Even though the poison hasn’t turned him into an unrecognizable Beastman, Lai has been experiencing emotional instability, often needing to vent.

Last week, when Lai was home, he nearly lost control and had to retreat to the upstairs training room for four or five hours, during which his fists developed bone fractures...

Lai has been researching an antidote, but even after testing his blood and analyzing the tiny bit of remaining poison, there’s been no progress.

Moreover, the poison made it hard for Lai to focus on his research, so he couldn’t even recreate that drug. Worried that he’d lose control and harm his wife and Manman, his visits home became less frequent.

"Fourth Dad hasn’t come back again?" Yu Manman was a bit worried but didn’t know how to help.

"Don’t worry, Manman, your Fourth Dad will be fine." Guan Heng smiled, "You, as a little kid, don’t need to worry about these things."

"Sixth Dad, I’m not a kid!" Yu Manman pouted, "I’m already a sister!"

"Yes, yes!" Guan Heng laughed, "Our Manman is a big kid now! The top in her class!"

Yu Manman felt a bit shy.

The class was full of young kids! Having lived two lifetimes, if she couldn’t surpass first-graders, wouldn’t that be too pathetic?

There was nothing to be proud of!

"When will Mom be back?"

Now, aside from the two young cubs, there was only Guan Heng and Atier at home.

"Mom is out purifying some uncles’ Spiritual Sea and will be back in a couple of days." Atier handed a bottle of prepared formula to Jiao Ao for him to hold and drink.

"Ah..." Yu Manman was a bit disappointed.

Her weekend without her mom.

What would a newly minted momma’s girl do?

"If Manman feels bored, we can go see a movie. Your Fifth Dad’s new movie is out."

That’s the movie where Liang Siji played a female role.

In the movie, Liang Siji’s gender was indistinguishable, and fans exclaimed that Liang Siji could win Best Actress!

"Okay~"

After dinner, Yu Manman continued playing with her brother Jiao Ao!

At night, she needed to train her spiritual power!

Since exposing that bad teacher at school, Yu Manman had received numerous awards, and her spiritual power was now almost at a B-level!

As long as she put in effort, she could materialize her spiritual power and create a small fish-like form, similar to her beast form!

Yu Manman gradually gathered her spiritual strands, imagining her beast form in her mind.

Soon, she weaved her spiritual strands into a fish-shaped form.

However, it was like her conjured spirit body, adorably ugly, with big eyes, a fat tail, and short fins, nothing like the beautiful butterfly koi her mom could conjure!

"Manman has already successfully transformed it into a fish shape; you’ll get better with practice," Guan Heng, watching the fish, wanted to laugh but didn’t want to hurt Yu Manman’s self-esteem...

He thought back to when he could first conjure a spirit body.

Hmm... probably when he was a teenager?

Right, Manman is only six, isn’t she? No, not even six!

Six or seven years earlier than he was!

Comparing that way, he’s the funniest one, isn’t he?

Guan Heng felt a bit embarrassed.
