After more than a day of travel, Ji Liang and his group arrived at Phoenix City, the medium-sized Beast City closest to Guangshou City.

If he weren’t so familiar with her, even he would have had trouble connecting this person—despite her familiar features and the lively, mischievous look in her eyes—with the white-haired, blue-eyed Cat Beastman from before.

He might have actually mistaken her for some Flying Beast female.

"Little Shushu, isn’t this a bit over the top?" he asked, his lips twitching.

Si Shuo chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "Ji Liang, I’m doing this for both of our sakes. You’ll be out on the road as a trader often, and I’ll be coming to see you. We can’t expose our shared Teleportation superpower."

"So, we’ll give people the impression that you have a lover in every Beast City you visit!"

Ji Liang pressed a hand to his forehead. He was a five-star male, utterly loyal and always thinking of his little female’s well-being. Yet, just to make it convenient for her to follow him all over the Central Continent, he had to shoulder this heavy burden.

"You... It’s a good thing I saved my Beast Mark to give to you. Otherwise, you’d be getting paranoid yourself." When rumors spread far enough, people start to believe them.

Si Shuo hugged his arm. "So, I’m the one who should be grateful!"

Ji Liang smiled and carried her out of the tent.

Everyone who saw them smiled knowingly. Those in the know understood. He was already out on the road trading. He saw his little female so rarely, and now there was a cub right here, stealing her attention.

Si Shuo was holding a fruit pastry drizzled with honey. Xuyou grabbed her arm, pulled it close, and buried his face in it, taking a fierce bite.

"I’ll let Xu Chi know," Si Shuo said with a smile, patting Ji Liang’s head. She took out a pen and paper and wrote down that Xuyou had teleported over on his own.

The next second, Xu Chi teleported over, holding Xu Ye. However, he was using Invisibility and hovering in mid-air. He also took a fruit pastry from Si Shuo’s hand and fed it to Xu Ye, who was drooling with desire in his arms.

"A shuo, the kids were probably getting bored at home. I brought them out to see the world. I’ll have to trouble you to send us back later," Xu Chi’s apologetic voice came, barely a whisper.

Ji Liang couldn’t help but hiss. He suspected that Xuyou had only learned to teleport on his own because Xu Chi had been talking about it so much.
