Xu Chi smiled. "Sounds good. Let’s not head back too late, so we don’t make Zhi Le and the others worry."

Once he was gone, Si Shuo took out an oil lamp with a glass chimney and presented the meat porridge. "For today’s porridge, I had Xu Chi add some bird eggs specially to help you recover..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Yin Jiang leaned in and kissed her.
