Beast Taming: Abyssal Descent-Chapter 305 - 275
As soon as Mo Qingchen’s voice fell, Tom and Jerry’s legs instantly transformed into wind and fire wheels.
They rushed towards the vampires suspended in mid-air.
Meanwhile, the mini Gatling Bodhisattva in their hands had vanished, replaced by long swords with silver crosses – drawn from who knows where!
Interestingly enough, the sword hilt bore a figure of Jesus.
But on Tom’s sword, it was a cat tied to the cross.
And Jerry’s sword hilt featured a mouse.
As they ran, the pair exchanged a glance and threw each other a brow-raising, cheeky challenge.
Adding to the spectacle, their eyes met and, shockingly, emitted laser beams that collided, producing a sizzling sound in the air.
The cat and mouse seemed to say: "This time, let’s see who takes down more vampires!"
With a jump of three feet high, the duo wielded their mini cross swords and stabbed furiously at the vampires bound mid-air.
The onlookers, one by one, couldn’t help but cringe at the sight.
Watching Tom and Jerry resort to outlandish antics was absurd enough, but their paws acted like rapid pistons, leaving afterimages with every thrust and stab.
While a swordswoman might deliver three strikes in a second, these two managed to unleash dozens within the same timeframe.
The numerous vampires erupted into a mist of blood as their chests were riddled with wounds.
Not a single vampire had intact skin left.
None of them lasted more than three seconds against their fast-paced stabs before bursting into flames and crumbling into ashes.
In less than a minute, the vampires were reduced to piles of ashes scattered on the floor.
Hearing the Abyss Pattern’s notification sound in his ear, Mo Qingchen cast a peculiar glance at the Guardian Beasts.
Their style was incredibly bizarre, capable of producing things that defy rules.
With the speed they just displayed, even Mo Jin from Tier Four might not achieve dozens of strikes in a second.
"Tsk tsk, these two have quite the dynamic style, switching from hot weapons to cold ones in an instant."
Mo Qingchen shook his head and promptly sat on a bar stool.
Meanwhile, several vampires mangled into ruins were roughly dragged and tossed in front of him by Frank, Carter, and Johnny.
"Little moron, hack into their phones and target those vampires. Mass-send the message about the bar’s clearance sale."
Casually giving the order, Mo Qingchen turned to Frank.
"Open their mouths, let the little moron cooperate, and stealthily transfer their funds and assets safely.
These vampires have been alive for who knows how long, especially the thirteen clans. Let’s see if we can interrogate them about their lairs.
Johnny, head to the wine cellar and shoot a video. After we’re done, we can send it to Nick Fury for them to handle the aftermath."
Mo Qingchen showed no concern about any agreements; he hadn’t signed any accord with vampires, so he had no psychological burden causing them trouble.
His intention was to lure all vampires in New York City and its surroundings here and capture them in one fell swoop.
This was all for upgrading and advancing Tom and Jerry.
As for triggering a war between vampires and humans, that wasn’t their concern.
Such disputes between alien races and humans were for S.H.I.E.L.D. to handle; wasn’t that what they were for?
"BOSS, watch me."
Frank’s face, devoid of expression, exuded a bloodthirsty aura.
"I’ve heard vampires possess incredible life force. As long as the wound isn’t fatal or inflicted by silver weapons, they can recover in no time."
Like viewing an experiment, his eyes conveyed a dangerously sinister signal, chilling the vampires’ spines.
"Bastard! Release us quickly, or our Blood Race-backed politicians won’t spare you!"
A Tier Three vampire continued yelling defiantly.
"I enjoy your stubbornness."
Frank wore a disdainful smile and stomped ruthlessly on the vampire’s mouth.
With sturdy custom combat boots, he violently crushed all of the vampire’s teeth, which left the creature spewing blood, looking absolutely miserable.
Frank had no intention of letting him off, drawing a military knife from the inside of his boot.
He unhesitantly stabbed the vampire’s abdomen.
The knife slid in and out repeatedly, carving out three bloody gaps before he finally ceased.
Even with the knife’s groove allowing abundant blood flow, it automatically stopped bleeding and began healing within seconds.
"Tsk tsk, with this healing speed, we might not kill them even after stabbing hundreds or thousands of times; this could be interesting."
While admiring the vampires’ recovery ability, Frank’s knife maneuvered like a serpent, commencing to slice flesh.
"I’ve heard the mysterious Great Xia Empire has an ancient torture called Lingchi.
It involves slicing a person with a knife, ensuring they endure three thousand cuts without dying.
With your vampire’s formidable recovery capacity, I’m eager to test this execution method.
You will satisfy my little curiosity, won’t you?"
Frank’s icy face displayed a chillingly indifferent smile, terrifying the vampires greatly.
