Back To The 80s-Chapter 629: Extra Two: Controllable Range Target Lock (Finale)_1
Li Fei was taken aback for a moment before she asked Jiujiu out of curiosity, "Jiujiu, are you in a particularly good mood today?"
Jiujiu blushed and nodded vigorously without saying a word.
Li Fei quickly picked up on this and asked, laughing, "So, do you and Li Duo have a thing going on?"
Jiujiu stared back at Li Fei wide-eyed. "What do you mean by ’thing’?"
Li Fei sat down next to Jiujiu, wrapped her arm around her, leaned in and whispered something into her ear.
Jiujiu’s face flushed even more, and she glared at Li Fei, complaining, "Why would you say that? We aren’t even married yet."
Chen Lu cried while listening in on their conversation, full of regret.
In the following days, Jiujiu felt like she was genuinely in love. When she and Li Duo went on dates, he would give her a secret kiss when no one was around, playfully scrunch up her nose and call her "silly Jiujiu". He would also pick the food she liked the most and insist on feeding her.
As graduation season came in July, Jiujiu, Li Fei, and the others graduated successfully. However, Chen Lu’s pregnancy was exposed, so she failed to obtain her graduation certificate and lost her job placement offer.
When Jiujiu and the dormitory girls saw Chen Lu leave with her suitcases, they all felt sad for her, knowing what a pity it was.
Jiujiu did not make it into her school’s postgraduate program, and had to return to her hometown to become a middle school teacher.
Li Duo took some family leave to help Jiujiu move back to her hometown, and they decided to make their relationship official.
Jiujiu felt a wave of sadness as she sat in Li Duo’s dorm room, watching him pack his things. She knew that it would be some time before she and Li Duo could see each other again.
Li Duo looked at Jiujiu’s displeased pout and approached her, cradling her face in his hands. "What’s the matter?" he asked.
"We aren’t going to see each other for a long time." Jiujiu said, mournfully.
Li Duo kissed Jiujiu’s forehead. "Trust me, it won’t be that long."
Jiujiu wrapped her arms around Li Duo and nodded vigorously. She believed everything Li Duo said. If Li Duo said they would be happy, then they definitely would be.
Ou Ruoshui approved of Li Duo and Jiujiu’s relationship, and Zhuang Shuxian was even more delighted. She found Li Duo to be reliable and felt at ease leaving Jiujiu in his care.
Old Jin was also pleased. He hadn’t expected not only to find his son, but also to see him start a family in his lifetime.
The two families began preparing for the kids’ wedding early on. Ou Ruoshui even bought Jiujiu an apartment as her dowry.
Li Duo and Jiujiu set their wedding date for October 1st. Before the wedding, Jiujiu received a large batch of dried Galsang flowers from Chen Gang.
There was also a letter full of well-wishes for a lifetime of happiness.
Jiujiu could not help but cry. Over the past two years, she had only received a few letters from Chen Gang assuring her he was safe. When she set her wedding date, she had tried to call Chen Gang’s unit, but the line was choppy and she wasn’t sure if Chen Gang heard her clearly. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
She hadn’t expected to receive well-wishes from Chen Gang on the eve of her wedding. The letter was dated July 1st.
Chen Gang, stationed at a post thousands of miles away, watched the heavy snowfall. He had heard Jiujiu forcefully shouting over the phone that she was getting married on the first. Today was the first, and the girl he had protected for more than a decade was getting married. He believed that she would be happy. She had to be.
Even so, tears welled up in his eyes.

Bonus Chapter Three: Galsang Flowers on the Plateau (Part One)
Chen Gang met Lu Weiyi just as he received a letter from Jiujiu, with a picture of Jiujiu holding her newborn baby.
Chen Gang looked at the plump baby and Jiujiu’s sweet, content smile, and he couldn’t help but grin. Seeing Jiujiu happy fulfilled his deepest wish.
There was a call for aid following a blizzard disaster in Motuo.
Just as Chen Gang put the photo in his pocket, he received an urgent call to gather his team and rush to the disaster-stricken area.
Lu Weiyi felt extremely unlucky. After being dumped, she’d gone to the Tibetan area to heal her heart, only to run into a snow disaster. Her new millennium was off to an unfortunate start!
She sat in a temporary shelter, wrapped in a military coat that was given to her by the rescue team. She cursed the heavens and the earth, and more than anything, she cursed the scumbag who cheated on her.
Chen Gang was directing a snow-clearing operation and making arrangements to house and relocate the affected people.
Feeling bored, Lu Weiyi wrapped herself in her military coat and stepped out of the tent, looking around to see if there was any way she could help.
"What are you aimlessly wandering around here for?" An angry voice called from behind her.
Startled, Lu Weiyi turned around to see an infuriated Chen Gang. Instantly, her own temper flared: "Why are you yelling? Do you think you’re tough or something? I was just looking around to see if I could be of any help."
Chen Gang had a vague feeling of familiarity as he looked at Lu Weiyi, but he couldn’t quite place her. He responded sharply, "Stay in the tent if you have nothing to do. The surface may seem like snow, but there could be deep pits underneath. If you fall in, no one will notice."
Lu Weiyi gave Chen Gang a harsh look. What a waste of good looks, she thought. Doesn’t he know how to converse decently? After giving him a glare, she turned around and went back to the tent. If she had known earlier, she would have listened to Aunt Er and gone to visit Xiaopang in Capital City.
Chen Gang was puzzled. He was sure he didn’t know this girl, but the glare she gave him seemed strangely familiar.
After the rescue efforts were completed, Lu Weiyi prepared to leave with the large group. She wanted to leave this dreadful place as quickly as possible and head to Capital City. According to Aunt Er, what could be so bad about a heartbreak? Who hasn’t met a scumbag or two when they were young?
Lu Weiyi took out her new flip phone, but despite holding it high overhead, she found no signal. So she began wandering around, hoping to find a signal so she could make a call to her mother and reassure her that she was safe.
Unable to help himself, Chen Gang watched as Lu Weiyi held her phone aloft, moved around searching for a signal. Didn’t this girl with a temper know of the possible dangers?
"Watch out!" he yelled. He saw Lu Weiyi stumble and fall backward. He ran over to grab her, hoping to pull her up.
However, he slipped under his own feet and fell into the pit with her.
They were immediately buried in a pile of snow.
When Lu Weiyi was dug out of the snow pit, she looked at Chen Gang awkwardly and muttered an apology.
Chen Gang put on a poker face and ignored her apology. He assumed that anyone who could afford such a phone must come from a wealthy family. The status of her skin sugguested that she was new to the Tibetan area.
He surmised that she was a spoiled rich kid.
Lu Weiyi saw that Chen Gang ignored her, so she pouted, thinking to herself, "There’s nothing impressive about him. Why is he acting so cool?"
When night came, the temperature in the tent dropped to below -10°C.
Lu Weiyi thought she was going to freeze to death. While cursing the man who dumped her, she just kept on nagging herself. "If I freeze to death in the Tibetan area, my parents will be so heartbroken."
Lu Weiyi was Yueyue when she was young. Later, she moved south with Lu Aiguo’s family. Lu Aiguo said that Fang Jing and Yueyue were his entire world, so he gave her a new name: Lu Weiyi.
Chen Gang looked at Lu Weiyi, who was moving her lips without sound, and furrowed his brow.
