His ferocious and aggrieved acting caused the Old robot to become tongue-tied, and Robert couldn't come up with words to retort. Meanwhile, the onlookers saw Elliot's expression and thought that Old Robert had done great injustice to him.

"Your silence says that you don't have any proof."

"Haha, old frog, did you forget to oil your brain last night? Defaming others and accusing them of the crime they haven't even committed is punishable by a considerable sum of spirit points."

"B-but–"

"No buts!" 𝗳r𝗲𝙚w𝐞𝚋𝘯𝚘ѵ𝗲l.𝑐om

"Robert, you've been in this place for so many years. You should know better than us that we must treat our guests like gods and accept losses with a smile."

"Yeah, it's better than getting taken away to the darkroom by the lackeys of the administrators and getting recycled into a new product."

Many robots spoke in favor of Elliot, helping him get justice. The first ones to take a stand for him were the owners of the rivaling gambling machines, who had always wanted to get even with Old Robert. The old robot still wanted to fight back, but many more people came to shut him. At the end, when one of them brought up the darkroom, Robert shivered in fear, an uncomfortable expression on his face.

Who didn't know of the darkroom? It was the place every troublesome robot got taken away and culled! And wasn't it being troublesome?

"I'm sorry." The old robot hurriedly made amends. Remaining a winner wasn't as important as its life. Although it was but a mere robot, after remaining alive for hundreds of years, it had come to treasure its life. It was willing to lose its pride to save its hide!

"Apology accepted," Elliot said as his expression eased up a little.

"Thank you for your generosity." The old robot revealed a smile, treating Elliot with the utmost respect.

"Now hurry up and go get me that potion at the lower ends of the racks!"

In the very next moment, Elliot said those words, causing Old Robert's smile to flatten.

"W-what?"

"Do you think acting like a sore loser would clear off your debt?! I better get what's mine, or I'm going to cause a commotion and attract the lackeys of the administrators to this place!"

Elliot had already found out the weakness of all the robots here, and he didn't mind flaunting Old Robert's weakness in his face to blackmail him into giving in to his demands.

"Damned brat." Old Robert felt ten thousand imaginary arrows piercing his heart, and his expression scrunched up.

Elliot heard his words and kindly reminded, "Be careful of what you say, lest you end up with ten thousand one-star reviews in a single day and get taken to the darkroom to be culled in the middle of the night."

"Ugh!" Old Robert roared in his mind, but he still picked up the elixir bottle and gave it to Elliot, who flashed him a wide grin.

There was a weird liquid inside of the bottle. One could hardly call it a liquid as it looked more like rays of light. It looked exotic, and its effect was equally impressive.

[You've received a supernatural cell evolving elixir.]

[Elixir Name: Holy Cell evolving elixir!]

[Item grade: Intermediate-level Spirit Alchemy Item.]

[Effect: Increase the rank of C-rank and below Holy Cells directly to B-rank.]

[Warning: Gains will be very minimum if a person who consumes it already has B-ranked hole-type supernatural cells.]

"What a great thing."

It wasn't helpful for him, but it could help Lucy become extremely strong in a single day. She had holy-type cells of D-rank. With this bottle, she could advance her supernatural ability to B-rank and become a high-rank ability user, that too in no time!

Of course, helping Lucy become strong wasn't the only reason why he picked up the elixir!

He threw a passing glance at the brown elixir bottle.

[Item name: Brown bottle elixir]

[Description: A item made out of plastic and unique shards of steel. The recipe of cell evolving elixir is written on it.]

Now, neither he nor the old robot could see any words on the bottle. It's because whoever wrote the words on the bottle used some unique technique to make them invisible. Elliot concluded that he needed to use some kind of special method to unearth the words.

Well, whatever it was, he was going to find out and learn it. After all, with this recipe in his hands, he could immediately upgrade even the trashiest of holy-type ability users into reverend lords!

"Dear customer, why are you not leaving?" Old Robert was in a bad mood. He wanted to close his ship and drink a cup of fuel and eat a few pieces of charcoal. But his fucking system wouldn't allow it as Elliot, a customer, was standing next to his shop. Unless he goes away, he can't close his shop.

"Heh, old robot, I have only just begun playing you. Don't think of walking out before the day ends."

Typically, the management teams of casinos would be the ones taking their customers hostage. But Elliot, who hardly followed common sense, flipped the table and took Old Robert as his hostage.

Old Robert, who couldn't refuse his customer's demand: "…."

Fuck my artificial system!

God, can you not force my hand?!

Why?!

I don't want him to play at my table!

Damn these sets of automatic commands that activate whenever I come in contact with a customer!

Damn it all to hell!

Although Old Robert didn't want to give him a ticket, his body moved against his will and passed one to Elliot.

The next round of gambling began!

[-20 spirit points!]

[Rock Gambling Game had started!]

[You've two minutes to pick up five stones! You can only pick five. If four or more are correct, you'll win a prize!]

Thirty seconds later: [Congratulations, Gambler Elliot! You have won another match!]

"Heh, heh, you already know the drill!" Elliot laughed after saying that.

"Dear customer, which one do you want?"

Imaginary blood streamed out of Old Robert's eyes, slipping down his cheeks and landing on to the ground, creating a small puddle.

"That amulet on the far right."
