Ascension Online: I Grow Stronger By Streaming-Chapter 36: Nuke Him

After taking down the first Raider, Kai moved ahead with Mira following behind. He could hear the chaos, blades clashing, magic exploding, and lots more.

The raiders were completely dominating the town, and they would be through it very soon.

"Tch, there is no way I can save everything, but I still need to give my best." Kai resolved, he stepped into a main street and immediately was faced with one of the raiders that sat on their bulls.

This raider was one of them that had been with the first. He looked at Kai, realizing that Kai was the same player with the sword, this immediately placed a question in his mind.

"Where is he?" he asked first, as though Kai was meant to know who this ’he’ was. Well, Kai knew, but he didn’t know the name of this fellow at all.

[BlueLagoon: What’s this dude talking about?]

[CrimsonKing: Cut him down already]

Kai went through his chats, only to see them begging him to nuke this Raider for gifts. Kai wasn’t going to refuse that offer.

"Alright, I’m using the spell on him, get these gifts ready." Kai said and then turned his attention back to the Raider.

"Hey you, I’m talking to you." the raider barked in anger.

"Shut the hell up, I’m busy doing something." Kai immediately cut him off, looking at the raider with a pissed expression.

The raider was stunned when Kai cut him off, it was the greatest embarrassment that he had received. He clenched his jaw so hard that his teeth ground against themselves.

"You have a death wish it seems, this here father will deliver it to you." the raider yelled, he pulled his sword, ready to come down and attack.

"Tch, like I have the time for all of that." Kai said, "Falling Lightning." he called out while pointing his hand at the Raider.

The magical circle formed in the sky and immediately the Raider knew that something was wrong. He looked at Kai and saw a smile on Kai’s face, this increased the rage that flowed through him.

"You fucking bastard, don’t worry, no matter what happens here, this father will find you and have you kiss his foot." the raider yelled before the lightning fell.

Crackle

BOOOOOOM!

The sound ripped through the air, the light glowed, the lightning slammed into the ground.

Then the lightning faded, the bull and the player were gone completely.

The system rang out, Kai looked at it with a smile, "How’s that for a nuke?" he asked.

[LordGooner143: lol, the raiders didn’t stand a chance.]

Kai looked at the top two messages and couldn’t help but smile. He was also stunned to find out that his views were above five thousand now and were steady, he was getting a lot of gifts every few seconds.

Kai didn’t know whether to scream or cry, but right now he felt emotional, seeing all these people that were watching and supporting.

’Fine, since all of you have chosen to watch me, I’ll make sure I give you the best show there is’ Kai thought.

The spell that Kai had cast had drawn the attention of the raiders. They didn’t know that there was someone in the town that had such magic, they had to rush now and handle whoever it was.

Kai didn’t manage to leave there before more than five bulls found the location with their riders on their backs, looking right at Kai.

Kai scanned their faces, he could tell that these ones were the stronger raiders. Not wanting to take any unnecessary risks, he looked at Mira who stood at the side.

"Mira, can you support me?" Kai asked.

"Okay." she replied with a smile, she placed Cuddles on her neck and then spread her hands apart, the grimoire appeared and opened on its own in front of her.

"Greater Blessing of Strength, Blessing of Recovery, Blessing of Speed, Blessing of Stamina." Mira started calling out buffs rapidly, shocking even Kai.

He turned and looked at her with shock, before he could say anything, all the buffs took effect, he glowed one after the other as they set into his body.

"Uhm, where was this when I faced the goblin?" Kai asked, confused as to why she never used this.

Mira slowly shook her head, "Your body couldn’t handle blessing type buffs back then, now it can." she said calmly before taking Cuddles and playing with him.

Kai knew that he wasn’t going to get any better explanation from her, so he turned his attention away from her to the Raiders.

"Were you the one that cast that spell?" one of the raiders asked, he was a bit bulky, with long flowing black hair that framed his carved face.

He stared at Kai, waiting for the answer. Kai, on the other hand, scratched the back of his head, and then kicked a stone on the ground, acting like he didn’t know that someone was talking to him.

The raider saw this and immediately got filled with rage, he opened his mouth about to say something more in anger, but Kai cut him off.

"You want to shout at me now?" Kai asked, looking right at the Raider.

"You Raiders suddenly have so much sense of pride, pride for criminals that kill and take. Like honestly, who the hell do you think I am that I’ll be scared of talking to you?" Kai asked, he stabbed his sword into the ground and then crossed his arms, he looked at the raider with a tired look. "Are you just gonna act dumb?" Kai asked.

"I’ll kill you!" the raider growled, he decided to go on foot, leaping off the bull. The other raiders did the same, coming down, encircling Kai in a bid to ensure he didn’t run at all.
