Chapter 34: I have other ‘Firsts’ (1) *

•••

Caius heard Delia entering her sister’s office but whatever that was about and would be discussed was not his concern.

He had his student map in hand and used it as an ever-trusty guide until he was standing in front of Arlette’s office door. School was likely ending soon and he knew he only had a few minutes before guards from his family’s estate arrived in a carriage to ferry him home.

He walked into the office, closing the door behind himself.

Arlette wasn’t seated at her desk. She was standing in front of one of the many bookshelves in her office, reading across their spines like she was searching for something. Every book was academic, and with the notes she had littered all over her desk, Caius had a feeling she had been in the middle of planning her lessons.

"Well, look who finally showed up," Arlette said with a little knowing smile without turning once to look at him,

"Word around the ’Staff Room’ is that you’ve had an eventful day."

The ’Staff Room’ at Lochxen was not actually a room. It was a network between Professor Offices where they could socialize and even share drinks. Virtually of course. Gossip was commonplace and the Professors were always sharing details about their classes just for the fun of it.

The ’Staff Room’ being a virtual space was meant to give the Professors their privacy and space to do their jobs while also having the freedom to tap into the most juicy news of the day.

Caius walked around Arlette’s desk and sat in her chair. When he leaned back, the chair’s back reclined to accommodate him.

"Ahh," he let out in a tired voice as he raised one leg onto the desk and closed his eyes, "What did you hear?"

"Well, you robbed Cynthia of her sight and beat her in a Two-Ring drill. Apparently, that was a lot of fun. I’m not the biggest fan of Cynthia Kragsten but she does have a talent for descriptions. Felt like I was there myself.

And of course, there’s the news that you got knocked out in Mage-Knight Training."

Arlette laughed a little at the second point of gossip but Caius was just more amused at how quickly gossip about Mage-Knight Training class had spread.

He wondered if Cynthia was the one to toss that piece of news onto the ’Staff Room’ or if Professor Raoul had gotten to it right after class. Or maybe before it even ended? Maybe it was too good a news that a Von Helsing lost in Mage-Knight Training that he just had to let his colleagues know as quickly as possible?

"And the juiciest news of all..." Arlette suddenly said, pulling Caius out of his thoughts as she stepped toward the desk and leaned against it, her plump ass balanced right on the edge as she crossed her arms and gave Caius a knowing smile,

"... is that you’re a woman-maker."

That made Caius pause as he blinked.

"A what?" He asked as his eyes widened a bit at the implication of Arlette’s words.

"Oh don’t play coy," Arlette said with a laugh, "You did it right in my classroom. Did you think I wouldn’t know?"

"Oh—damn..."

"’Damn’ is exactly right," Arlette said and her expression looked stuck between amused and annoyed.

Professors had access to viewing things happening in their classrooms but they hardly ever tapped into it. It’s why Caius had been bold enough to do what he did not just today but yesterday in the Combat Magic classroom.

He was sure the only reason he ’got caught’ now was because Arlette had wondered what was keeping him when he didn’t come to her office right after Alchemy class so she tapped into it and got herself a show.

"How long did you watch?" He asked.

"I watched it all."

"Pervert."

Arlette’s lips formed a smile but then she was serious as she asked,

"What were you thinking?"

"No one was going to come in and catch us," Caius said even though at that moment, he couldn’t have cared less.

"I’m not talking about that. I mean it could be a problem and you should be ashamed for being so careless but I’m talking about something else. Something more serious," Arlette said.

"What...?" Caius started to say but she interrupted quickly enough to clarify,

"You told her, Caius. You showed that girl what you are."

"Oh," Caius said, "Right."

"So I ask again, What were you thinking?"

"Kaya won’t tell anyone," Caius said.

"And what makes you so sure?"

For an answer, Caius just smiled confidently,

"Trust me, she won’t."

Arlette let out a sigh.

"I hope you’re right. For your sake. It would be a terrible shame to watch you get hunted down."

"But you’d help me if I were, wouldn’t you?" Caius asked in a half-teasing and half-serious tone.

Arlette shrugged,

"Who knows? I mean I wasn’t even good enough to consult before you blabbed your secret to her.

Or good enough to be your first, apparently."

"My what?" Caius said, looking surprised.

"Your ’First’," Arlette said and she turned her face away like she truly was upset even though Caius could see the corner of her lips were turned up in a smile,

"That green-eyed half-elf girl got to pop your cherry and not me."

"You should call your students by their names," Caius said with a smile.

Arlette ignored him.

Caius laughed now.

"You know, I do have other ’Firsts’."

Arlette’s head swiveled to look at him again and she had a ravishing smile on her face.

"Go on," she said.

Caius shrugged,

"What more is there to say?" He asked with a chuckle, "I have other firsts and I’m inviting you to them."

Arlette rolled her eyes and it was a hypnotizing view,

"You can’t make the invitation more charming than that." ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

For an answer, Caius took his leg off the desk and leaned forward in the chair to grab her arm and pull her into his lap. Or more accurately, he made to pull her and Arlette practically floated off the desk and onto him.

With one arm around her and his hand on her back, rubbing against her smooth skin, Caius grabbed her chin in his thumb and index finger as he leaned in close and trailed his lips across hers. And then he kissed her as his hand left her chin to trail down to her chest where he grabbed one of her breasts, squeezing lightly through her gown. His thumb brushed across her nipple which he was delighted to feel was already getting hard.

When he pulled his lips away from hers and made his way to her neck, taking in her scent on the way, he felt Arlette’s lips on his ear.

She chuckled which did wonders for how her breast felt in Caius’s hand as she transitioned her position in his lap so she was now straddling him with her legs on either side of his body. At the same time, she pulled at his hair until his lips were off her body and she stared at his face with a lascivious smile on her face.

"About those firsts..." she said slowly and in a sensual voice that had Caius shuddering even though he managed to keep it together,

"Is this one of them?" She asked before she leaned in close and grabbed his earlobe into her mouth and sucked on it.

"Ahh..." Caius let out in a breathy voice.

Arlette sucked for a few more seconds before stopping to ask directly into his ear as she pulled on his hair just a bit harder,

"You haven’t answered. Is this a first?"

Caius grinned and nodded,

"It is," he said.

"Good," Arlette said in a voice that dragged and had Caius’s already stirring member pump with even more blood so that it started to rise. The Alchemy Professor had to have felt it but she made no mention of it.

Instead, she grabbed his earlobe between her teeth and pulled as she managed to say in a surprisingly clear voice,

"One down then. More to go."

As if to punctuate those words that sounded almost like a promise, she gyrated her ass and rubbed them harder into Caius’ hardening cock, causing it to swell even more.
