Bai Meiyue turned to look at Xiao Wu and then questioned, "Where is Xu Yiyi? Why did she not come with you?" She had sent Xiao Wu to bring Xu Yiyi, but the man returned on his own without her.

When Xiao Wu heard her question, his expression turned a bit awkward. Seeing this, Bai Meiyue knew that there was something up. She arched her brow and questioned, "What’s going on?"

"Boss, why don’t you go and take a look?" Xiao Wu didn’t know what to say. He could only tell Bai Meiyue to come with him and see what was going on.

When Bai Meiyue heard his response, she became even more curious. She wondered what Xu Yiyi had done that had made even Xiao Wu speechless. She supported her pregnant belly and stood up from the couch, her eyes flashing with slight curiosity as she said to Xiao Wu, "Let’s go. Take me where Xu Yiyi is at the moment."

"Sure."

The two of them, with a heavily curious Fox who also wanted to see who this Xu Yiyi was and what she was doing that made Bai Meiyue so curious that she actually got up and went to look for her on her own. And who was this Xu Yiyi about whom Bai Meiyue was so worried?

He half chased and half ran and when Bai Meiyue sat inside the car, he jumped right in without waiting for Bai Meiyue to close the door.

Bai Meiyue : "..."

She shot a look of disdain at the man who had slipped inside the car and asked, "What are you trying to do?" Why was this man suddenly following them to join the fun?

"I just want to meet this new addition to the safe zone," replied Fox cheekily. "I have heard a lot about her." Of course, he was lying; he had never heard of or even seen Xu Yiyi. But he was getting bored after being cooped up in the safe zone for so many days, and now that he was finally free, he just couldn’t help himself from running amok.

Bai Meiyue rolled her eyes. She partly wanted to kick the man out, but Fox was quicker. He quickly closed the door as if sensing what kind of scheme Bai Meiyue was planning in her head. He smiled at her once he was done closing the door. He turned to look at Bai Meiyue and said, "Aren’t we in a hurry?"

Bai Meiyue and Xiao Wu: "..."

The two of them were simply speechless when they saw the actions of the man. They looked at one another before driving to the building where Xu Yiyi lived with the rest of her girls. As soon as Bai Meiyue arrived, she noticed a big stage set up in the middle of the empty ground and then turned to look at Xiao Wu, who smiled at her, but his smile was worse than crying.

"This... I did tell them that you will not agree, but they didn’t listen to me," Xiao Wu said in a sobbing voice, his expression mournful. He did try to stop these people, but Xu Yiyi was simply lawless. She simply pointed her finger at him and said that she was not doing anything. Since she was not selling her body, Bai Meiyue shouldn’t have any problem with what she was doing.

When Bai Meiyue finished listening to Xiao Wu, she closed her eyes and counted to ten while telling herself that she couldn’t kill Xu Yiyi. After calming herself down enough, she opened her eyes and then stepped out of the car.

"Oh my lovely — MISS BAI?"

The man, who was playing the role of a woman on the stage, screamed in horror when he saw Bai Meiyue arriving. He looked at Xu Yiyi and then turned to look at Bai Meiyue. Something about her sudden appearance made the poor man nearly wet his pants.

Bai Meiyue walked over and saw that all the performers on the stage were men, and then turned to look at Xu Yiyi before saying to her, "And what are you doing?"

Xu Yiyi faked a surprise look and said to Bai Meiyue, "What else? Didn’t you send a teacher here? He was the one who arranged these things."

Hearing this, Bai Meiyue turned to look at Meng Qibao, who was sitting helplessly on the side. He jumped to his feet and walked over with a look of sheer anger and said to Xu Yiyi, "What? I called these people to teach you how to perform. I never asked you to start enjoying their performance. I asked you all to follow what I was teaching you, but you were the ones who said that you wanted to see the demo of a performance. When did I arrange for you to watch a drama? I was teaching you how to play the guqin. You were the ones who arranged for this drama. Why are you blaming me?"

Xu Yiyi crossed her legs on the chair on which she was sitting and leaned back. She threw one arm behind her chair and said to the man, "All I heard was that you were going to do a performance. There was no such thing as getting involved or learning."

"You—"

"Alright, I will take it from here," said Bai Meiyue as she sensed that there was an argument about to break out. She turned to look at Meng Qibao and asked him, "You must have found a few women who want to learn singing and dancing, haven’t you?"

Meng Qibao was still glaring at Xu Yiyi, but he still nodded when he heard Bai Meiyue’s question.

Bai Meiyue heaved a sigh of relief. She then glanced at Xu Yiyi, who seemed to be having quite a lot of fun by poking Meng Qibao. She said to him, "Then you take those girls and teach them how to play guqin, as for the others who have no interest in learning, leave them to me."

Meng Qibao didn’t seem to be too willing but he still nodded and walked with the thirty or so women who were willing to learn from him. The funny thing was that even these women didn’t seem to have offended Xu Yiyi. She even waved at these women who were walking away and they all waved back!
