Apocalypse with my SSS Harem Beauties-Chapter 114: Humiliation
"Hm..." A low murmur escaped Ryan’s lips. It carried confusion and something closer to curiosity. His brows knit together as he frowned. This was no longer a simple matter. Not like before.
With the Fangblade still buried in his chest, Ryan looked down at Myles.
For a split second his eyes flashed a deep crimson before returning to their normal shade.
"You awakened the Seed as well?" Ryan asked, the soft feminine voice layering beneath his own again.
Myles didn’t hear him. Rage drowned everything in his mind. Words meant nothing right now.
Ether continued to surge through Myles’ body in violent waves of red, blue, green, and black mist that thickened around him, no longer drifting like smoke but churning like liquid paint.
The colors twisted together, wrapping his arms and shoulders.
The Ether flowed into his Fangblade and Myles pushed forward.
Ryan’s face twisted into a sharp grimace.
There was pain. It was not Ryan who felt it, but the thing inside him.
"What is this...? This mortal can wound me... through that body?" the entity thought anxiously.
Ryan swung his spear in a wide arc and crashed into Myles’ side. The impact threw him several meters across the street, smashing him through pavement and debris.
Yet Myles never released the Fangblade from his hand.
The weapon tore free from Ryan’s chest, ripping open a jagged hole as Myles flew back. A moment later dark red Ether poured out and surged over the wound, knitting his flesh and bone together with unnatural speed.
The entity’s amusement vanished.
"Enough. No more talking," she decided.
Even if this one had awakened a Seed, it changed nothing. He was still beneath her.
Myles slammed into the ground and bounced.
Then he rose again as if pain no longer existed and charged again, a snarl tearing from his throat.
Ryan rushed forward as well and they collided.
Myles wielded his Fangblade in one hand and his Noctiryx dagger in the other. His movements were wild and brutal without form or restraint. Only instinct and overwhelming force.
He didn’t realize that his stats right now had surged far beyond their limits. Everything had multiplied nearly tenfold.
CLANG!
Ryan parried with his crystal spear, feet digging into the ground as the shock rattled his arms.
CLANG!
Myles slashed again with faster and stronger force.
CLANG!
Black blades and crystal collided again and again. Sparks exploded everywhere. Ether energy detonated with every impact.
Ryan fought with perfect technique. His movement was sharp and efficient. He redirected blows, deflected, and countered with practiced motions.
However, Myles fought like a mad beast.
He attacked without pause while snarling and groaning. Without fear and without thought. Power and instinct guided his body as the magic weapons dragged every ounce of potential out of him.
The street shattered beneath the two of them. Walls collapsed around them, windows burst, the air trembled.
Then the ground ruptured. A violent impact sent one body flying.
Ryan smashed through dozens of buildings and concrete, tearing through walls and roofs before finally crashing into a heap of rubble several hundred meters away.
Dust and debris settled. From the ruins, Ryan pushed himself upright.
Fresh cuts lined his body. Blood ran from his temple. But his breathing stayed steady, but his face had lost all trace of ease.
This time, he looked serious.
"Damn it," the entity thought. "This mortal became dangerous. I should have left immediately after obtaining the Seed."
The ground trembled together with an angry shouting sound. He saw red, green, blue, and black smoke rushed toward him from afar.
Myles’s silhouette could be seen from it.
The entity understood at that moment that escape was no longer an option until this mortal was dead.
Power flooded deeper into Ryan’s body. His stance shifted. His grip tightened.
But she still couldn’t use her full power. Ryan’s body couldn’t endure her true strength from her. Pouring too much Ether into him would tear him apart.
Ryan charged. Myles met him head-on. Their weapons collided again.
A shockwave erupted everywhere, flattening nearby structures and ripping through the street like an explosion.
The strange power raging inside Myles no longer listened to reason. It answered only his instinct.
His skills activated one after another without order or restraint. Weapon skills also flared on their own, reacting to his killing intent rather than any conscious decision.
His body moved not toward the best choice, but toward what he wanted—which was destruction.
Bloodthirsty Slash triggered again and again and stacked damage relentlessly. Defense-reducing effects layered over Ryan’s body, gnawing away at protection with every successful hit.
The Fangblade cut deep while the Noctiryx dagger followed, carving lines wherever Myles’ hands moved.
At the same time, fire gathered and fireball after fireball formed and launched almost instinctively. They shot out in rapid succession, hitting the streets and buildings. Explosions shattered concrete and the flames climbed walls. Some detonated in the air but others slammed straight into Ryan’s body.
Fire engulfed him. Heat warped the air. Charred cracks spread across Ryan’s armor and skin as accumulated burn damage layered over itself.
Yet Ryan didn’t scream. He didn’t even flinch. He never felt the pain reach him.
"HAAAAAARGHHH!!!" Myles roared. The sound came from his throat like an animal’s cry. Spittle flew as he lunged again.
CLANG!
CLANG! 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
CLANG!
Ryan parried desperately now. His spear moved in tight arcs. He was barely keeping up. And the fireballs detonated out of nowhere and the blades slipped through gaps. Cuts opened across his arms and faces and body. Burns spread faster than his regeneration could fully erase.
The entity inside him seethed.
"This is humiliation!"
Her pride screamed. A being like her, driven into a corner by a newly awakened mortal. Even if she wasn’t fighting with her true body, the connection made it feel the same.
"I am being pushed back?!"
Myles pressed harder. His attacks came faster and heavier, layered with the mysterious Ether and instinctive skill usage.
The streets around them collapsed completely. The battlefield turned into a burning ruin.
"HAAAA!!!" the entity screamed back through Ryan’s mouth.
She poured more power in based on her emotion. Ether surged violently into Ryan’s body, deepening the connection between the host and the possessor.
Veins glowed beneath his skin. Cracks spread along his armor as pressure built from the inside.
Ryan’s muscles swelled. The air around him warped under the sudden spike of power.
But his body protested. His bones creaked, his flesh strained, blood leaked from the corner of his mouth.
The entity still forced it.
Ryan planted his feet and met Myles’ next charge, spear and blades colliding with a thunderous crash. Another shockwave exploded, flattening what little remained of the surrounding structures.
Flames, smoke, and multicolored Ether swallowed them both.
