Apocalypse with my SSS Harem Beauties-Chapter 107: Drawing More
Myles’ eyes narrowed as he watched the monster struggle to rise and be full of wounds. The purple-black mist still crawled out from its wounds but it no longer surged like before. It sputtered as if hesitated.
It was now even more clear that his flesh closed slower and uneven as if something inside the creature was failing to keep up. Maybe it was because this monster didn’t understand the power that he had yet.
"Now... this is it. This is a good chance for us!"
"We need to—" He tried to push himself up.
However, pain came immediately and ripped through his whole body and exploded behind his skull.
His legs buckled the moment he shifted his weight, forcing him to brace himself against the broken truck with a harsh gasp.
His vision blurred again. He grinding his teeth as his frustration boiled and mounting.
"Fuck..."
His fingers dug into the metal. "Move. Get up. Say it. Do something."
But his body refused to move and shook violently, blood still dripping from his temple.
"Useless. If I were stronger... if I hadn’t been dragged back... if I could still stand there with them right now... we might already kill that god damned monster!"
His anger flared hotter than his pain. Not just at the monster but also at himself.
However, before he could force his voice out, Nadine’s shout tore through the battlefield.
"DON’T STOP! HE IS WEAKENING! MOVE NOW, IGNORE THE MIST!"
She surged forward again, her spear flashing. "THIS IS OUR CHANCE!"
The words snapped something into place.
George now realized and could see the monster’s delayed reaction through his tense mind.
"She is right... this thing is moving slower."
Daniel saw that the blood from his wounds was refusing to seal. The others saw the same effects created by their weapons and skills.
"It’s working," George breathed with disbelief and pride crashing together. "Our weapons actually working."
"Okay. We can not stop!" Victor roared and attacked. The others followed.
Attacks in different forms rained down again from everywhere. Faster, harder, and more merciless.
Daniel blurred from side to side to carve bleeding lines that refused to close. Clara’s frost spread wider, locking joints and dragging the monster’s movements down.
Kade hammered the monster’s core with blazing impacts from his gauntlets. Ryan stabbed and fired beams of attack whenever an opening appeared. George swung his hammer down again and again, creating shockwaves rolling through the street.
The monster howled and staggering under the pressure. His regeneration was straining to keep up.
A few meters behind them, Ethan realized something.
"Wait."
A warm pulse throbbed in his palms.
He looked down and saw golden lines flickering along the pistols’ barrels again.
"No way..."
He channeled Ether instinctively. This time, it flowed smoothly again.
Samantha also felt it. Her bow hummed softly, a familiar vibration returning. A faint glow gathered where an arrow should form.
They looked at each other. Their eyes widened.
"It’s back," Samantha whispered. "I can feel it again."
"Looks like the mist finally lost its grip." Ethan said and nodded, relief flooding his chest.
They stepped closer to the edge of cover. But then stopped again.
"Wait. We shouldn’t act rashly right now. They are in the middle of a critical stage right now." Ethan’s gaze stayed locked on the melee. "They’re too close to the monster and can get hit by our attack."
"...Not yet," he said aloud. "We need to wait."
Samantha nodded, already drawing her bow halfway, holding steady. She seems to share the same thought as Ethan.
Both of them fixed their sights on the battlefield. Their weapons were waiting in their hands to be fired.

The monster staggered and weakened under the relentless barrage, black blood splattering across the street. Every blow carved into him and the wounds lingered longer than it should have.
However, he felt humiliation burned hotter than his pain.
In his distorted mind, this should not have been possible.
"I was already invincible..."
Before this evolution, before the Seed power reshaped him, he had already been untouchable. Even as a towering giant with pale blue skin and a strange body no monster or human had ever contested him. They had broken and screamed and died in front of him. He had crushed them all with ease.
Then came the power. The mysterious force that seeped into him, rewrote his flesh, hardened his bones, and sharpened his mind into something crueler and more absolute at that evolution moment.
Since then, the belief had rooted itself deep within him.
He felt unstoppable above them all.
And now... now these insignificant beings were cornering him! The thought was unbearable.
A guttural snarl tore from his throat as rage drowned out any reasoning. He refused to accept this situation. Refused to accept this weakness.
"No. I will not lose here. I will become god!"
He reached inward, grasping for the Source of that power again. The same unseen Source that had answered him before. He didn’t understand what it was, he didn’t know where it came from. But he knew one thing.
It was vast and overwhelming. He wanted all of it for himself.
So he pulled with everything he had.
A violent surge of power flooded through his body, snapping his bones back into place with brutal force and forcing his muscles to swell and tighten again.
The purple-black mist thickened instantly and coiled tighter around him. The smoke was writhing and screaming in strange voices that felt like it didn’t come from this world as it poured out from his wounds.
The ground trembled. The air grew heavy.
"No—!"
The companions felt it at the same time. It wasn’t just visible but also they felt pressure in the air. A crushing weight slammed into their senses.
Ether trembling inside their bodies and weapons as the monster’s presence spiked violently.
The stones and ground groaned beneath their feet, cracks racing through it as the mist surged outward.
The companions felt panic in their minds at that moment.
"GROAAAHHH!!!"
The monster threw his head back and roared, the sound tearing through the ruins like a challenge to the world itself.
He charged with terrifying speed and swung his bone blade hand toward Nadine.
CRACK!
The swing broke Nadine’s spear instantly.
