Ancient Tears BloodLine-Chapter 1423: Part 1: Senior Challenge!
From MC Perspective
I was in my residence when I received a sudden, direct call from Faction Leader Clifford. I was taken aback. He wouldn’t call me unless it was something important.
I answered the call and listened to what he had to say. My expression turned cold.
"Leader, I will take care of this matter." After saying that, I ended the call.
I put away the device, my gaze deepening. I had read the article earlier; I knew warriors were going to challenge me, but I didn’t expect them to be blocking the entrance right now.
Even Dean Jerome had been alerted, and he had ordered Faction Leader Clifford to force me out.
I shook my head to collect my thoughts, then walked up to the entrance. I opened the door and stepped out.
I immediately went to the main gate. As I opened it and stepped through, I saw members standing not far away.
They were waiting for Zack Lockwood.
I nodded to them before heading toward the outer gate. On the way, I came across many warriors standing on both sides of the streets.
"Hey, he’s here!"
"Zack Lockwood is going to face them."
"I don’t know whether he’s going to defeat them or not."
"Let’s follow him."
"Those three warriors from the Dark Variant Faction need to be taught a lesson."
The warriors voiced their opinions as I got closer to the exit. Those behind me gathered in large numbers, ready to watch the battle.
I walked out of the entrance.
Gasp!
A huge exclamation occurred the next second.
Warriors from other factions were waiting outside, with the three warriors from the Dark Variant Faction standing in the middle.
Behind me, the Thunderflame Faction warriors appeared to support me.
The situation had become tense. The warriors stared at each other; a fight could break out at any time.
Gasp!
Another loud exclamation followed. The warriors from the Elemental Factions were looking at me for the first time in a long while. Among them, Ronnie Seth was present as well.
He looked at me with worry. He had seen my dark purple lightning force and believed I could handle the senior warriors from the faction.
At the same time, my gaze swept across the place. I felt several auras hidden in the sky they could be the Main Elders. High in the air, the Elders from different factions were watching the show.
The Elders from the Dark Variant Faction looked down with a cold glint in their eyes. Many of them were seeing me for the first time in ages.
Fortunately, they couldn’t take action here.
The Main Elders of the Thunderflame Faction stood in mid-air as well, facing off against the Dark Variant and Elemental Faction Elders. Austin and Ann were among them.
Austin observed the others; if they tried anything, he would definitely act. He had already informed Faction Leader Clifford of this and was even ready to accept Dean Jerome’s punishment.
On the other hand, the Main Elders from the two Bloodline Factions had come to watch from the sidelines.
They weren’t going to support the Elemental Factions, nor were they going to stand against the Thunderflame Faction.
These people didn’t know that someone else was monitoring their actions: the Purple Mark Guard.
Dean Jerome had approved the challenge, but the threat of someone doing something shady remained.
I shifted my attention to the three middle-aged seniors. They were strong Silver Mark Warriors, but I was stronger. I didn’t know where their confidence came from.
I took a step forward and approached them. The crowd had left the open land clear for the fight.
"Zack Lockwood is here!"
"Let’s see if he can maintain his winning streak."
"Those three seniors are not ordinary, either."
The warriors continued to speculate.
"So, you are Zack Lockwood," one of the three middle-aged men said.
Everyone’s gaze turned toward me. I nodded before stepping onto the field and appearing before them.
"I heard the three of you wanted to challenge me. So, what are you planning?" I asked.
The three men looked at each other. They had already consumed Dark Pills before coming here, which was why their auras seemed so strong. To everyone else, they looked like peak Silver Mark Warriors.
"Take my fist attacks first!" one of them shouted, stepping forward.
I nodded. I didn’t use my perception ability; I intended to face them using only my natural reactions.
Swoosh!
The man rushed toward me. His fists carried a fiery dark flame, the Dark Variant of the fire element.
Gasp!
The warriors from the Blazing Fire Faction reacted strongly. They knew Dark Variant warriors were naturally stronger than normal Fire Elemental warriors.
In the field, I side stepped to avoid the attack easily. Instead of retreating, I swept my left leg across. The kick was casual, yet it contained enormous power.
Boom!
The next second, the man felt a massive impact. Like a cannonball, his body rocketed backward before hitting the ground.
Boom!
He landed with a heavy thud, the impact creating a deep pit. The shockwave spread across the area.
This all happened within seconds. The warriors stood there, dumbfounded. They couldn’t believe their eyes.
The other two middle-aged men were terrified. What had they just seen? It was a casual kick from Zack Lockwood, yet it had sent their friend flying like a fly.
"What?" One of the main elders uttered in shock. He was from the Dark Variant Faction.
The other main elders were watching the fight as well. They were shocked to see the results.
A Silver Mark Warrior was defeated like that.
"Zack Lockwood was stronger than before."
It was the thought on everyone’s mind. The faces of the main elders were serious. They felt Zack Lockwood was stronger in the same rank again.
If he wanted to fight against other Silver Mark Warriors, no one could defeat him.
The main elders from the bloodline factions were surprised as well.
They had thought their bloodline warriors could pose a challenge to Zack Lockwood. But they were now wrong in the end.
