An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 150: Soul Eater Beletrex
Chapter 150: Soul Eater Beletrex
Mathias reacted fast to the flames. Using earth magic, he managed to create a wall to block the flames. He thought he was safe until he saw the flame melting through the wall, and through the hole, he could see Luke smiling.
"Your magic can’t compare to what I’ve been given. Forget about stopping me," he said and blasted another round of flames. The wall was completely melted and Mathias was exposed.
"You have to stop, Luke. We were supposed to do this together," Mathias said.
"Yes, but the plans changed. If you could feel what was flowing through me right now, you’d understand the reason no one else should have the power that I have.
You don’t have to worry though. After your death, I’ll be sure to take down those students for you. Hahahaha, maybe I’ll burn your whole school," Luke said. He walked toward Mathias, heavy steps that made Mathias’s heart sink.
He mustered one last ounce of courage and attacked with an earth spike, but the spike melted before reaching Luke.
Luke grabbed Mathias by the neck and lifted him off the ground. Mathias kicked and struggled, but nothing he did helped.
"Mum, I’m sorry," he muttered just before the flame engulfed his face and melted it. Luke let the body drop to the ground, and everywhere became awfully quiet. Only the dripping of water could be heard.
"That was perfect, Luke. Now absorb them and grow stronger."
A voice spoke to Luke from right inside his head. He was shocked and scared. "Who are you?" he asked, looking around for who could be there.
"Don’t be afraid. You are the one that accepted me into your body. You wanted strength, right? So I came," the voice said.
"Does this mean you are the source of this strength?" Luke asked.
"Indeed, and you can grow infinitely stronger by absorbing humans. Their life force and soul stay a few minutes after they die. Consume it and you’ll get more powerful," the voice said.
The thought of more power than he already had now was amazing. He became eager. "How do I absorb them?" he asked.
"Just will it."
"Alright." Luke willed it with just a thought, and black tendrils shot from his back and stabbed into both bodies. They began sucking everything from the bodies until they turned into nothing but empty husks.
Luke felt the power flow into him. He got stronger in only a few seconds. The feel of power made his heart long for more—it was as though an addiction had been formed in seconds.
"I can get infinitely stronger," he said, the smile on his face getting wider, in his eyes the shine of a man that had gone crazy. freewebnøvel_com
He raised his hands and looked at them, feeling the strength pulsing through them. The world would bow to him now, and so would those who ruined his life. His burning desire to make sure that he destroyed Riven and Noel remained, and now he possessed the means to.

Back in the academy, the school day was finally over and Riven was tired as hell, because today a new class was added. It should have been added a long time ago, but there had been different issues the past few weeks.
It was called Advanced Spirit Zone—a class that focused on something Riven didn’t even think was possible: manipulating the spirit zone itself to become useful in a fight.
The class talked about how the spirit zone can be used to create something called a false or pseudo aura.
The Way of the Weapon mixed with a powerful spirit zone was the way for battle mages to gain battle aura. But to gain the Way of your Weapon, it requires unending years of training, and at times, many never actually get it.
So the Advanced Spirit Zone class enabled them to create a false aura by manipulating their spirit zone. The instructor talked a load of gibberish—some made a lot of sense, and some flew right over Riven’s head.
So, immediately he got back to his room, he got a bat and walked up to the library. His head was buzzing right now, he could barely look straight.
But his eagerness to understand this particular topic got the better of him. What he didn’t expect, though, was that when he walked upstairs and got to his table, he would find the book opened on it.
Seeing this, he immediately thought maybe he got a new spell or maybe he could finally talk to the Iron Maiden.
But when he sat down and looked in, what he saw wasn’t what he expected. It was the drawing of a creature.
It had a humanoid body, but its head was opening four ways with razor-sharp teeth and a vortex-like mouth inside. Its body was slim to the bones.
It didn’t walk by itself, as black tendrils from behind its back lifted it up like legs.
’What is this? The book has never shown something like this before, why now?’ he wondered.
He read down to the contents below:
(A Soul Eater Beletrex, lower-class devil)
(A creature on an eternal quest for power, will consume all life in a frenzy. The more it eats, the stronger it gets, and the more its hunger increases.
Beletrex are most dangerous when they have a goal—they’ll do all it takes to complete it.)
(Weaknesses: their heads)
Riven was immediately confused. What the hell was he reading? Never in his years of reading the novel was there anything ever mentioned of devils.
So what the hell was going on now, and why the hell was the book showing it to him?
"Is this thing coming to this world? Is this the danger after the demons?" Riven tried to figure it out, so he ran his fingers along the drawing. Suddenly, like a flash, his mind was transported to a battlefield.
It was a battlefield similar to those he had seen through the eyes of the dungeon monsters, and what he saw left him scared.
