Chapter 305: Chapter 180: Entertainment Venue
Lanni wanted to follow the General Sect Leader and two others into the casino but was stopped by a bodyguard, "No minors allowed."
Lanni was annoyed and flipped him off, "You talk too much, I’ve washed my hands clean of that life! I’m making my own money through hard work now! I even have an ID that says I’m 20, do you want to see it?"
The black bodyguard couldn’t care less about her and seemed utterly indifferent.
"I didn’t know you had such a story, are you a minor?" Allen Zhang turned back and looked at her curvaceous figure, assuming she was at least twenty. If she were an adult, her figure would be considered average.
But if she’s a minor, that’s a different story. A bit more growth and she’d be at least a 36D.
"Boss, are minors a plus for you?" Lanni said with a chuckle: "I’ll be of age in a month."
"Don’t listen to her nonsense, she’s only sixteen," the black bodyguard couldn’t help but interject.
"Mind your own business! Black Devil! Just shut up!!" Lanni cursed: "At sixteen, the law says I can marry, idiot!"
The black bodyguard snorted coldly: "If it weren’t for your gambler dad, I wouldn’t bother. He still owes me money."
"What’s that got to do with me, go ask him for your money," Lanni retorted impatiently: "Do you really want to force a minor girl to help pay off the debt?"
Unable to argue with her, the bodyguard dropped it.
Allen Zhang turned and continued into the casino with Sieg and others. Lanni waved from outside, "Boss, remember to look for me if you need anything."
Allen Zhang didn’t look back and waved his hand dismissively.
This was his first visit to a legitimate entertainment venue; upon entering, he found the interior lavishly decorated and bustling like a marketplace, with many gamblers at the slot machines, video games, roulettes, dice tables, and Texas poker.
Allen Zhang was uninterested and instructed Bailey and Sieg to scout other areas. He went straight to the central reception desk, ordered a Red Bull on ice from a female attendant, then sat on a sofa in the lounge area, took out his smartphone, opened an app, and put on noise-cancelling headphones.
Blitz’s voice soon came through: "It seems you’ve arrived at the casino. While many here could strike it rich overnight, don’t forget your purpose."
’Just tell us straight what we need to do,’ Allen Zhang typed back.
"First, walk around, cover every area, the app will automatically record and generate a map of the building, pinpointing the vault’s hidden location. I’ve also patched Jack into this channel."
After Blitz finished, silence for a few seconds, then an unfamiliar voice emerged.
"Hello, I’m Old Jack. You guys work fast, huh? Finished escorting the arms?"
"Don’t talk about unrelated stuff," Blitz reminded: "Discuss your initial plan, how you intend to carry it out."
"It’s simple. We hired some teens from Little Rock to start fires outside the casino, targeting decrepit structures to draw the security away. Then we sneak into the casino’s vault, crack it open and take the money!"
"Before that, we’ll need to find the vault manager and other staff, burst into their dining area, and abduct them to extract the password," Old Jack added.
’What if they don’t give up the password?’ Bailey asked.
"If they don’t give up the password, we beat it out of them!" Old Jack stated.
Such brute force?
No finesse at all?
’Isn’t the vault manager one of ours?’ Allen Zhang typed, puzzled.
"The vault manager is one of ours, but to clear his own suspicion, he must suffer with us. That guy is the second largest shareholder of the casino and also a member of the local white shareholders, while the largest shareholders are those Philippine monkeys planning to collaborate with a local Black Gang to open a new entertainment venue, sidelining the second shareholders, pushing them out! What we need to do is wreck their plans, take the money and certification documents stored in the vault, deliver them to the second shareholder’s people at the designated location, grab our cut, and be off scot-free!"
Old Jack outlined the situation succinctly.
"That’s the plan, straightforward. We don’t care about their internal disputes, we just need to hire personnel to take the money from the vault. I’ve arranged for the getaway drivers and gunmen, their rates are below market price, all robust young lads, only missing a hacker for the hacking job, it’s happening tomorrow!"
Hold on a second.
What do you mean by robust young lads?
Are you talking about young men who’ve lost all their teeth, gone bald, and are halfway into the grave?
Are they as young as you?
’But we messed up your original plans?’ Allen Zhang hesitated.
"True, who would’ve thought I’d have a new boss now. You better make me rich in the future! But the specifics and details remain unchanged; we still need the drivers and gunmen," Old Jack replied.
Blitz couldn’t resist adding: "In fact, those two are Old El and his grandson. Old El is a retired veteran, his grandson was a race car driver who got banned after running over a referee."
’...Hard to imagine a professional racer on a race track taking a hurdle and hitting a referee.’ Sieg couldn’t resist commenting: ’Even my grandma couldn’t hit a referee with her feet steering!’
