Alpha's mate is a male?!?-Chapter 145: Gathering of the Alphas
Chapter 145: Gathering of the Alphas
Minutes later, the study doors push open, and Rey steps inside. His expression is unreadable, but the sharpness in his eyes tells them everything before he even speaks.
"They’re here," he announces. "Some elders joined too. They’re waiting in the hall."
Everyone stills for a beat. Kieran exhales slowly, then turns to Marsel. "Will you come with me?"
Marsel nods, adjusting his sleeves before standing up to follow Kieran out."Yes, let’s go."
Ace watches them leave, his stomach twisting slightly. This meeting will determine whether they stand alone or with the support of the other packs. And after everything, trusting outsiders is a risk.

The grand hall is filled with the scent of different wolves- dominant, powerful, radiating authority.
The alphas stand in small groups, their presence commanding, while the elders sit near the head of the room, their gazes sharp and knowing.
Kieran and Marsel step inside, their entrance cutting through the low murmurs of conversation. The room quiets.
A tall alpha, broad-shouldered with deep scars across his forearms, is the first to speak. "Kieran," he greets, his voice rough. "When we got the summons, we rushed over immediately, couldn’t help to wonder what has fallen upon us again."
A few wolves node, forcing their composure. They are all waiting for answers.
Kieran doesn’t react immediately. His gaze sweeps over them, unreadable. "I called you here because we have a problem. One that affects all of us. And this time it’s really out of our control. Humans are involved."
The mood shifts. Tension creeps in, subtle but present. The alphas exchange glances. They have always avoided anything to do with human’s conflicts. They have always asked their pack members to be careful not to expose themselves out there... but at long last humans came in?! frёewebnoѵēl.com
Marsel takes a step forward, voice calm but firm. "It’s about Rehan."
At the mention of his name, a few wolves stiffen. Some alphas sigh, others roll their eyes as if hearing about Rehan alone is already a headache.
The scarred alpha scoffs. "What has that bastard done now? I thought the news travelled everywhere that he died."
Marsel’s jaw tightens. "Yes, he’s dead."
Silence.
Some look surprised, others skeptical, but no one seems particularly grieved by the news. If anything, there’s a hint of relief.
"So what now? Or Kieran you’ve called us here to morn his death?" someone mutters under their breath.
Kieran’s expression remains cold. "Not exactly. Well, Rehan might be dead, but he left a mess behind. One that we have to clean up before it becomes a threat to all of us."
The atmosphere grows heavier. Waiting impatiently to hear what has befallen them.
An older alpha with silver-streaked hair leans forward. "Explain."
Kieran doesn’t hesitate. "Rehan got a human girl pregnant."
A ripple of unease spreads through the room. Some alphas exchange wary glances. Others frown, not yet seeing the full weight of the situation.
Marsel continues, "And as you know, a would baby in a normal human’s body, it doesn’t last for long before it wants to get out, it’s like it feels trapped in there.
As we speak now, the woman is almost three months pregnant, but her stomach looks like she is ready, like nine months to humans.
This has already drown attention, and her parents are already in action, if they find out that whatever the girl is carrying has some other blood other than humans, they are going to look for that kind of blood everywhere, to look for the father.
And we know they won’t rest until they find out what is happening. And when they do... this won’t just be our problem. They will come for all of us."
"That man! He was really reckless," another elder mutters, shaking his head. "He never cared about consequences."
The scarred alpha exhales sharply. "So, what’s the plan? Are we getting rid of the girl?"
Kieran’s expression darkens. "No. We’re taking her before she gives birth. We have everything planned, and we’ll handle it."
The room falls silent again. The alphas absorb his words, weighing them.
The silver-haired elder tilts his head. "And you’re sure this will be enough? That taking her will prevent this from escalating?"
"No," Kieran admits. "But it’s the best move we have. And it’s already in motion."
Another alpha, one with dark piercing eyes, crosses his arms. "You’re telling us this now when you’ve already decided everything?"
Marsel meets his gaze evenly. "We didn’t have time to wait. We need you to be aware. And if something goes wrong, we need to know whether we can count on you to clean up the aftermath."
A heavy pause.
The alphas look at one another, silent conversations passing between them.
The scarred alpha finally nods. "You’ve got your hands full, Kieran. But if this goes south, we’ll be here. Just... I don’t understand how taking the girl will solve anything, if anything, it will just make everything worse, but if you have everything planned then so be it."
"Why should we be taking the girl?! I am very sure the pregnancy is giving that girl a hard time, and her parents must have seen that, so instead of carrying the girl here, why don’t you just kill her altogether?! Problem solved! They will think the pregnancy killed her!" Another suggestions firmly.
"The problem is that we must save the baby, am not letting it die or be harmed in any way!" Kieran groans, "And even if we kill her, still the parents will investigate the baby. There’s no easy way out of this." He adds.
They all realize how serious the situation.
Marsel steps forward, voice steady. "I suggest you stick around. If something happens, we need you to back up, let’s stick together as we try to eliminate this problem."
The alphas consider this, then slowly nod.
The silver-haired elder lets out a long breath. "I just hope the plan you have is reliable."
Kieran doesn’t respond immediately. He just meets the elder’s gaze, steady and unwavering.
Just like that, the meeting is over. Kieran and others get ready to leave.
