Alpha's mate is a male?!?-Chapter 127: Alpha of Alphas and The gifted devine wolf.
Chapter 127: Alpha of Alphas and The gifted devine wolf.
The journey to Shadow Valley is thick with tension.
The land feels ancient, as if the very soil remembers battles fought and betrayals whispered in the dark.
Jagged cliffs enclose the valley like silent watchers, their dark silhouettes barely visible against the moonlit sky.
A river snakes through the clearing, its sluggish flow reflecting the pale glow of the moon, giving the illusion of a silver blade cutting through the earth.
The air here carries an eerie stillness, untouched by the usual sounds of the night. No insects hum. No owls hoot. Even the wind seems hesitant to stir.
The moment Ace, Kieran, and their group step into Shadow Valley, an eerie stillness blankets the air.
The land feels like a place that has witnessed too much, battlefields drenched in old blood, oaths broken under moonlit skies, and ghosts of grudges that refuse to be buried.
Right now everyone carries a presence of their own, Rika, uncharacteristically quiet, tension tightening her shoulders;
Jun, sharp-eyed and watchful, his usual playful edged with something unreadable, since yesterday;
Elira, steady as always, her presence a reminder of ancient knowledge that surpasses even time itself.
Even the witches, though powerful, remain wary. This meeting could change everything.
They do not have to wait long.
A shift in the wind. The scent of approaching people.
The first group emerges from the thin air, their movements sharp and alert. They expected Rika.
But the moment their eyes scan the valley and land on Ace and Kieran and others...
They stop.
Silence spreads, thick and suffocating.
Some flinch. Others go rigid, as if instinct demands they brace for something they cannot predict.
Their leader, a broad-shouldered man with a scar running across his jaw stiffens, his throat bobbing as he takes in the sight before him.
His people shift behind him, uneasy. They do not need introductions.
They know exactly who stands before them.
Ace, the famous wolf, chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, the one gifted with divine fire, the one whose very presence sends shivers down the spines of those who have heard of what he has done.
The one who has burned dark witches to ash without lifting a single claw.
And beside him, Kieran.
Alpha of alphas.
The wolf whose mere presence has made armies reconsider war. A leader who does not demand submission but commands it simply by existing.
Fear flashes in the eyes of a few. This was not what they were expecting.
The leader of the first group takes a controlled breath, but his voice betrays his unease.
"Rika." His gaze snaps to her, suspicion narrowing his eyes. "What is this?"
His people shift uncomfortably, their attention darting between Rika and the two figures standing beside her.
"You were supposed to meet us alone."
His people nod frustratedly, murmuring under their breath. Tension thickens.
Rika exhales, stepping forward. "I did not bring them here to fight." Her voice is steady, "they are here for something else."
The leader’s eyes flick to Ace, then to Kieran.
Ace meets his gaze evenly. "As she has said, we are not here to fight, we are hear to listen to either groups, find a way to solve and amend what was done to you, because we are not going to allow blood shed in this land."
When no one says a thing, Ace continues, "We understand how you must be feeling right now and what you’ve been feeling, but it will help if you stay calm and talk out what you want instead."
Kieran steps forward, and the moment he does, the entire group tenses.
He does not raise his voice. He does not move aggressively. And yet, the weight of his presence alone forces a silence over them.
"Believe what you will," he says, his tone unwavering. "But if we wanted war, you would not be standing here speaking right now."
The group swallows thickly, looking away.
The leader exhales slowly, glancing back at his group. They are unsettled. Uncertain.
Finally, he turns back to Ace and Kieran. "If you are truly here to listen, then we will stay."
The tension does not vanish, but the hostility dulls. One by one, they settle in, wary but waiting.

The second group arrives with a different kind of energy.
They come without hesitation, each step sharp, deliberate.
But the moment they step into the valley and take in the scene...
They freeze as well.
They had also expected Rika and her people alone. What they did not expect was to find the Alpha of alphas and the Moon-blessed wolf among them.
Their leader, a wiry woman with piercing amber eyes, reacts instinctively. His breath hitches, his gaze flickering between Ace and Kieran.
She hesitates for only a fraction of a second before forcing her face into something neutral.
But her body betrays her.
The way her shoulders lock, the way her fingers twitch at her sides, it is the reaction of someone who realizes they are standing before something far greater than what they had prepared for.
Her people shift, eyes darting between their leader and the two at the center of it all.
Finally, she clears her throat. "We were not told there will be more of just mere witches."
Kieran remains silent, simply watching her. The woman swallows.
Ace does not break eye contact. "Yet there is, not even these witches themselves are mere."
Another long silence.
The leader exhales, choosing her words carefully. "We came for answers, not for... surprises."
"You were not deceived," Kieran states evenly. "You were called to speak. That is all."
The leader glances at the first group, noting how they have already settled.
Slowly, she exhales. The tension does not leave entirely, but there is a shift.
This is not a confrontation.
It is something else entirely.
And so, after a long moment...
As if learnt the procedure, she leads her own people, settling where the first group is , sharing unbelievable words.
How did Rika manage to get the greatest figures to her side?! She must have feared them.
They can’t help but wait to hear what they got for them.
