Alpha Razor King-Chapter 96: Alarmed.
**Isabella**
"What do you want?" I asked Kelsey, feeling her glare burning into me like hot coals.
"So, you think you’ve won, right? That you’ve finally gotten him," she sneered, her voice dripping with venom.
I rolled my eyes, trying to keep my composure. "Have you lost your mind again, Kelsey," I snorted, "or do you need another reminder?"
Her eyes narrowed, fury evident in every line of her face. "You don’t deserve him. You left!"
"And now I’m back," I replied evenly, refusing to let her get under my skin.
Kelsey scoffed, crossing her arms defiantly. "What makes you think he’ll take you back after what you did?"
I took a deep breath. "Because love doesn’t just disappear, Kelsey. And despite everything, I know he still loves me."
Her expression softened for a moment before hardening once again. "You’re delusional if you think he’ll forgive you that easily."
I met her gaze head-on, refusing to back down. "Well, he already did."
Kelsey’s eyes flashed with disbelief, but beneath the layers of anger, I saw a flicker of doubt. "And what if he’s just pretending to forgive you?"
"Then I’ll accept it," I replied smugly.
She studied me for a long moment, as if searching for any sign of weakness.
"Is that so," Kelsey chuckled darkly. "Let’s see who’s going to cry in the end," she spat out before turning on her heel and striding away.
I shook my head, bewildered by her nonsense threats. What was she on about now? It baffled me why she couldn’t grasp the fact that Razor didn’t even acknowledge her fucking presence, let alone entertain any romantic notions about her. With a resigned sigh, I pushed aside her words and made my way to Felicia’s room to retrieve Nathan.
"How’s my baby?" I asked, lifting Nathan from Felicia’s arms as she stood up from the bed.
"He’s fine, Luna. I’m glad you came," Felicia replied, a warm smile lighting up her tired features. "Chris came to inform me that the boss ordered me to feed the girl, Lisa, right?"
I nodded, cradling Nathan closer to my chest. "Yes, Lisa."
"I’m so glad the boss spared her, and I heard it was because you pleaded with him," Felicia said, her grin widening as she held the door open.
"It wasn’t easy," I murmured, memories of the tense encounter in Razor’s study still fresh in my mind, "but I’m glad he changed his mind."
"I knew he was only bluffing back then," Felicia nodded knowingly. "He was obviously still in love with you."
A soft smile tugged at my lips as I watched Felicia exit the room, leaving me alone with Nathan. Razor was indeed a formidable man, his demeanor often as cold as steel, but he listened to me. Although I had to put in a lot of effort, it was worth it and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy sucking his dick.

I woke up from my nap and realized I had slept for about an hour and thirty minutes. I got up and looked at the baby cot beside me, noticing that Nathan was awake and kicking. I walked over and carried him in my arms.
He seemed a bit more hyper than usual. My baby boy was so excited, wriggling in my arms.
"Hello, baby," I cooed, patting his cheek softly. "You’re so cute."
"M...," he made a sound, surprising me.
It seemed as though he wanted to say "mummy."
Tears welled up in my eyes, and I hugged Nathan close. "Oh, my sweet boy," I murmured, kissing his cheek. "Say it again, Nathan. Say ’mummy.’"
He’s such a happy baby and I’m so grateful to have him in my life. I felt a rush of love for my little baby. Nathan was my miracle, the light of my life.
I took Nathan downstairs and saw Felicia coming out of Lisa’s room with a tray.
"Oh, there you are Luna," Felicia smiled as she saw me. "The young lady has been asking for you. It seems as though she has something to say to you."
"Really?" I raised my brow. "Alright then." Along with Nathan, I went to her door and knocked.
"Hello, Lisa, it’s Isabella."
"Come in," she invited me in instantly.
I opened the door and entered inside with Nathan. She was sitting on the bed, looking more refreshed in a new dress.
"Are you alright?" I asked, sitting in the chair beside the window.
"Yes," she smiled. "It’s all thanks to you. Cross and Ian told me you were feisty, stubborn, but they were right about one thing—you do have a good heart."
I smiled sadly. "So they spoke about me?"
"Honestly, I didn’t really care much about people before I got married. I only changed recently, and Razor had a huge part to play in it."
"I miss them so much," she said sadly, fiddling with her fingers. "Sometimes I think it’s my fault."
"Don’t say that, okay?"
"No, no," she shook her head slowly. "I was the one who introduced Ian to my brother...I shouldn’t have. I didn’t think he’d actually kill him." She cried.
"I don’t know what to say, Lisa..."
"And then there’s Cross. I would have actually led him to my brother. Gosh, I’m so stupid!"
I stood up with Nathan from the chair, walked up to her, and sat on the bed beside her. "You shouldn’t blame yourself, Lisa," I said gently, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You were deceived by your brother. You had no way of knowing what he was planning."
"But I should have been more cautious," she replied, wiping away her tears. "I should have seen through his lies."
"It’s easy to say that in hindsight," I reassured her. "But you were just trying to help your brother. You couldn’t have known the truth."
Lisa nodded, her expression still troubled. "I just hope Cross can forgive me. I don’t want him to hate me."
"He won’t hate you, Lisa," I said firmly. "Cross is a kind and understanding person. He’ll see that you were misled. He’ll forgive you."
"I hope you’re right," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
I smiled at her, trying to convey my confidence. "I’m sure of it. And if he needs some time to process everything, I’m sure he’ll come around eventually."
Lisa gave me a weak smile, but I could see that she was still wrestling with her guilt and fear. I knew it wouldn’t be easy for her to forgive herself, but I hoped that with time, she would find peace.
I’ll do anything and whatever it takes to help get him out of that place," she told me.
"Razor is doing everything possible to get him out of there."
"Thank goodness. And about Tara," she looked at me, hesitation in her eyes. "She didn’t kill your parents."
"I’m sorry, but I don’t believe anything that lady says," I replied, cradling Nathan in my arms.
"But it’s the truth, I promise," Lisa pleaded. "It was Tom... he killed them."
I looked away, cradling Nathan in my arms. "I’m sorry, but I don’t believe anything that lady says."
"But it’s the truth, I promise," Lisa pleaded desperately. "It was Tom... he killed them."
"But Tara was in on it."
"Yes, at first," Lisa muttered quietly. "She wanted to use your parents to lure you out of the pack house, but Tom disagreed. He wanted to kill your parents and take you captive. But Damon’s men got there first."
My heart sank as I realized the extent of the betrayal. "Is that why he took Cross instead?"
"He would have still taken him," Lisa confirmed.
"That bastard," I cursed under my breath. "I swear I’ll make him pay. He sent his men to search for you recently."
"Really?" Lisa was surprised.
"Yes, something to do with Cross. He... they wanted you dead."
Lisa drew a deep breath, her hands visibly trembling.
"It’s alright," I reassured her, holding her hand. "You’re safe here."
"Thank you, Isabella," Lisa smiled before looking at Nathan. "He’s so cute. Can I carry him?"
"Sure," I nodded with a smile, giving Nathan to her.
Lisa bounced him up and down, filling the air with his giggles. "He seems to like you," I laughed.
"I like him too," Lisa said through chuckles as she kept playing with him.
I realized that Lisa wasn’t such a bad kid after all; she was just misled by her brother.
As the evening wore on, I grew increasingly tired waiting for Razor downstairs. After finishing dinner, I headed upstairs to check on Nathan. On entering his room, I wasn’t surprised to find him awake but alarmed by how pale he looked.
Worried, I picked him up from his baby cot, only to find out he was running a temperature. "Nathan, baby, what’s wrong?" I asked, feeling a knot of fear in my stomach. "Talk to me, sweetheart."
My worry deepened as I noticed his lips had turned a concerning shade of purple. Panicked, I quickly left the room to find help, my mind racing with fear and uncertainty.
