Chapter 80: Heartbreak.

**Isabella**

My legs gave way and I collapsed to the floor, in tears. Why won’t he listen to me!

Luna? Felicia called. She leaned over me, her face filled with concern. "Take it easy, please. Now come on." With gentle care, she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and helped me up.

Together, we walked to the nearby couch and sat down. I buried my face in my hands, unable to contain the flood of emotions swirling inside me. "He hates me, Felicia," I lamented, my voice breaking. "He hates me!"

Felicia’s hand found mine, giving it a comforting squeeze. "No, Luna, he doesn’t hate you. He’s just... confused. Give him time. He’ll come around."

"He doesn’t love me anymore, Felicia... he hates me," I whispered.

Felicia placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "He doesn’t hate you, Luna. He’s just hurt. With Cross held captive by that man, the boss hasn’t been himself. He blames himself for that."

I felt a pang of guilt. Cross was like a little brother to me. The thought of him in danger made my heart ache."It must have been really hard for him."

"And even worse for Cross. Who knows what that boy is going through." She sighed, her expression troubled. "The boss was and is still devastated. He rarely came out of his office, he usually spaced out, and he didn’t have any motivation. It was just recently that Alpha Kane spoke to him, and he seemed to get back on his feet."

I didn’t know much about Alpha Kane, except he was Razor’s friend. If anyone could help him through this, it could be him.

"But what about us, Felicia?" I asked, my voice tinged with sadness. "What about our relationship? Will things ever go back to how they were?"

Felicia gave me a sympathetic look. "I don’t know. I wish I had an answer for you. But Luna, I thought you wanted to be free from the boss... from this marriage. Isn’t that what you wanted?" Felicia’s voice was gentle, filled with concern.

I struggled to find the words, my emotions were all over the place. "I... don’t know. I hated how much he controlled me and everything I did, but somehow I liked it." I sighed, raking a hand over my hair, feeling conflicted. "I was just so scared of getting punished."

Felicia nodded understandingly. "I understand... but right now, you have the freedom to do as you like."

"I know," I nodded. "I mean, I cursed in front of Razor, and he didn’t even care." I gave a bitter laugh. "That’s how I know he doesn’t care about me anymore. He only looks at our pup with those lovely green eyes filled with love, but not me." Tears welled up in my eyes again.

"It’s going to be okay, Luna," Felicia reassured me, wrapping her arms around me in a comforting hug.

"No, it’s not, Felicia," I sobbed. "I lost his love. When he looks at me, it’s no longer there in his eyes. He’s only letting me stay because of our baby."

Felicia held me tighter. "It’s alright... it’s going to be fine. I’m sure he still loves you."

As the afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the windows, my eyes opened. I had managed to steal a few moments of rest while Felicia tended to my little pup. How I wish we could name him already, but Razor wasn’t even giving me the chance to speak to him.

I got out of bed and was immediately hit by a sharp pain in my head. Of course, I had a headache; I had been crying for too long. I went to the bathroom to wash my face with cool water before leaving the room. I then went straight to the kitchen and found Kelsey preparing a dish or something.

My lips curled into a deep frown, but I remained silent as I reached into the refrigerator for a bottle of water.

"You don’t look so good. Are you alright?" Kelsey’s voice lacked genuine concern, sounding more like a taunt.

Ignoring her, I poured water into a glass, trying to calm my racing thoughts.

She chuckled. "I see you’re bitter, right. I’m not the reason the boss hates you, okay?"

"What is your problem? Why the hell are you bugging me?" I snapped, my patience wearing thin.

Rolling her eyes, she placed her hand on her waist. "Why are you here? Why did you come back after everything you did to the boss?"

"Maybe mind your business! I don’t owe you any explanation."

She smiled, coming to stand face to face with me. "I’m warning you now, you had better not get in my way or I’m going to fucking rip you apart." She gave a smirk before turning away.

Enraged, I pulled her hair roughly and dragged her back. "Do you know who the hell I am? I’m the Luna and wife of Razor King, and you have no right to speak to me that way!"

"Let me go, you witch!" She struggled against my hold. I shoved her forward, and she landed on the floor.

She let out a shriek before angrily standing up, ready to attack me until Dean called.

"Kelsey! What are you doing?"

"She attacked me, Dean. This bitch, she dragged my hair," she whined, rubbing furiously at her scalp.

"What?" I scoffed, shaking my head. "You were about to attack me. Why lie?"

"You’re such a liar!" Kelsey’s voice rose, her eyes blazing with anger as she glared at me.

I had to stifle a laugh. She thought she was sly, but two can play this game.

"Kelsey, show some respect and don’t speak to our boss’s wife like that!" Dean’s voice cut through the air, a warning in his tone.

"Wife... she doesn’t have the right to that title anymore," Kelsey retorted defiantly.

"Will you shut it," Dean snapped. "Or do you want me to report you to him?"

Kelsey’s gaze faltered, and she lowered her head, shaking it slightly. "No."

"Then apologize right now," Dean demanded firmly.

Kelsey looked at me, but no words came out. I could see the conflict in her eyes, but I knew that her pride wouldn’t allow her to apologize, even if she knew she was in the wrong.

"Keep your apology to yourself," I told her, my voice cold as I turned to leave the kitchen.

Feeling suffocated by the drama inside, I stepped out into the cool afternoon air, hoping it would clear my mind.

Dean followed me. "Are you alright, Luna?" he asked, coming to stand beside me.

"Everyone keeps asking me that without providing a solution whenever I answer," I muttered, irritated by the repeated question.

"I’m sorry," Dean said sincerely.

"It’s not your fault, Dean. I’m just in a really bad state." I glanced around before meeting Dean’s gaze. "Is he back?"

"The boss? Why yes, he’s in his office playing with your son."

"Really?" My brow rose in surprise.

"Yes, as soon as he arrived, he was the first person the boss wanted to see."

"I see," I mumbled sadly, annoyed that I was getting emotional again. "And he didn’t ask about me?"

Dean didn’t answer, and his silence spoke volumes.

"I guess he doesn’t really care about me anymore, huh," I confessed bitterly.

"It’s not like that..."

"It’s alright, Dean. I understand. I need some time alone." I turned my back and headed back inside the mansion, needing

to collect my thoughts and emotions.

Feeling unwell and wanting to be alone, I asked Felicia to bring my dinner to my room. However, after finishing my meal, I decided to take the tray downstairs myself. I also took the opportunity to do the dishes before heading outside the kitchen.

As I approached, I noticed Kelsey dressed in a stunning green evening gown, twirling around excitedly while Felicia looked on skeptically. They were unaware of my presence.

"Shouldn’t you be happy for me, Aunt?" Kelsey pouted at Felicia. "I’ll be going as the boss’s date... baby steps, Aunt."

"But Kelsey, that’s impossible... he has a wife."

"Well, he was aware of that before asking me to come as his date to the party."

Footsteps echoed loudly from the staircase, and I knew it was him, Razor. The room was enveloped in his alluring scent, causing my whole body to shiver.

"Are you ready?" He asked Kelsey coldly as he descended the stairs.

"Yes, sir," she squealed, lowering her gaze to the floor.

"Remember to behave and don’t speak to anyone without my permission," he ordered her, adjusting his collar.

"Yes, sir."

I craned my neck to get a closer look at him. He wore a fine green suit, seemingly matching with her. Jealousy churned in my stomach as they both looked so good together, more like a couple.

"Let’s go," he ordered, already walking away.

He paused before turning around, meeting my gaze. I felt my cheeks color under his eyes, surprised that he had noticed me. At first, I thought I saw longing in his eyes, but they soon hardened with coldness as he turned back around and left the mansion with Kelsey.

I felt a sudden sharp pain, my hand flying to my chest for relief. It was my heart breaking into tiny pieces. Razor King had broken my heart.
