Alpha Razor King-Chapter 139: The Return.
**Razor**
I looked down at the dead bodies lying across the ground, then at my hands. My fingers had claws—literal claws.
"What, you’re a freak..... how is that possible?" Marv stuttered, pushing himself further away from me on the ground. He was terrified, in disbelief—just as I was.
"He’s not a freak, he’s a werewolf," Nathan sneered at Marv before meeting my gaze. "See? We told you, you’re one of us. You’re a werewolf, the alpha of our pack."
I couldn’t believe it. This was fucking insane. Werewolves exist, and I was fucking one.
"So what are you going to do now, Marv? You’re the only one left," Cross taunted Marv, who was still terrified. Before we knew it, Marv got up and began to run without looking back.
Cross and Nathan burst out laughing. "That was quite funny," Nathan continued laughing, pointing at Marv’s disappearing form. "If he thought this was scary, wait until he sees us in our wolf form."
"Wolf form?" I raised my brow.
"Yes, wolf form," Nathan nodded. "I’m still a kid, so I haven’t met my wolf yet, but I’m sure when I turn sixteen, I will."
"Wait a fucking minute, you all shift just like in the movies?"
They both nodded.
I took a deep breath and motioned for them to come along. I wasn’t ready for this right now. We still had to save Isabella.
After several long hours, we arrived in Upperville. It felt oddly familiar, even though I could barely remember anything here. The streets, the buildings, even the scent in the air—it all tugged at the edges of my memory.
We pulled up to a big black gate surrounded by the woods.
"Where is this?" I asked Cross as we got out of the car. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"Our pack house," he replied. "But why is it very quiet?"
"Will mummy and the rest be alright?" Nathan asked me, his voice small and worried.
I was confused, not knowing the answer to that. But I nodded. I couldn’t afford to see his sad expression. "Come on, let’s go check it out."
Cross led the way and pressed a button on the gate. After a few seconds, the gate opened, revealing the interior. We stepped inside cautiously, and suddenly people began to come out of hiding from different corners.
They were all looking at me—confused, amazed, surprised. Next, they began to kneel down, bowing their heads to the ground.
"They’re welcoming you, brother," Cross whispered with a smile. "I guess they’re all fine."
I was confused though; how was I supposed to react to all this? Being the alpha of a werewolf pack, a large one at that, was overwhelming.
"Come on," Nathan said, drawing me along as we entered the building. We took the elevator up to the penthouse.
Immediately upon stepping inside, I saw her—Isabella. I had kind of missed her so much. Without warning, she hurried towards me and enveloped me in a tight hug.
"You came... you came back for us," she cried out. "Thank you."
I gently pulled away from the hug before meeting her soft gaze. All of a sudden, I didn’t know how to react to her. "You’re welcome."
"Alpha Razor?" A young lady with ash-blonde hair appeared with another blonde lady, both of them smiling at me. "We’re glad you’re alive."
Isabella turned to them. "He still doesn’t remember," she said, with sadness in her voice, but she quickly masked it with a smile. "This is Lisa," she pointed at the first girl. "And this is Anna," she pointed at the blonde one.
I nodded back at them, watching as Cross went to hug Lisa.
Isabella looked down at Nathan, who was pouting hard. "Oh my, my little man, come here." She leaned over and hugged him.
"I thought you didn’t care about me."
"No, don’t say that... you were all I could think of, Nathan."
I smiled at them. They were really adorable. The scene warmed my heart, yet the sense of responsibility and confusion. This pack, these people—they all looked to me for guidance and protection.
I cleared my throat, drawing Isabella’s attention. "You look perfectly fine to me," I said to her before shifting my gaze to Cross.
"I had no idea... they told me they were in trouble."
"We were in trouble, but as you can see, we took care of it," she bragged.
"Well, I guess." I shrugged. "Where are the others?"
"Dean and Chris? They’re out monitoring the area," Isabella replied. "We might have won this round, but they’re definitely coming back."
"What about Tom? Did you actually see him?" Cross wanted to know.
Isabella shook her head. "He’s still hiding. I wish we could actually destroy that bastard for once."
She was worried and tired, and I just wished I could offer her some comfort. "Take me there..." I was saying it before I knew it. "Take me to the place I disappeared."
She raised her brow in surprise.
"I want to see if I remember anything from there."
This time, she nodded with a smile. "I’ll gladly take you. But aren’t you tired?"
"No... no... I want to go there now."
She nodded. "Fine, let’s go."
We moved quickly, not wasting any more time. The drive was tense but quiet. Isabella kept glancing at me, probably wondering if this was the right thing to do. I wondered too, but the pull to understand my past was stronger than any doubts.
Finally, we arrived at a clearing deep in the woods. It looked ordinary at first glance, but there was a sense of familiarity that made my heart ache. I stepped out of the car and walked towards the center of the clearing, feeling a strange connection to this place.
"Here," Isabella said, pointing to a spot. "This is where we found traces of blood."
I knelt down, touching the ground, trying to force a memory, anything to surface. My mind was blank, but my body seemed to remember. A wave of dizziness washed over me, and I stumbled back.
Isabella caught me, her grip firm and reassuring. "Easy, Razor. Don’t push yourself too hard."
"There’s... something," I muttered, shaking my head. "I can’t explain it, but this place feels... significant."
"Do you remember anything?" Cross asked curiously.
"Not clearly," I admitted. "But I feel like I’m on the brink of something. It’s frustrating."
"Come on, let’s get out of here," Isabella said, her voice filled with concern.
But as I took a step, a pang shot through my head, and I held it tightly. A scene began to play in my mind, vivid and terrifying. Wolves were gathering around me, their eyes angry and vicious. They lunged at me, tearing into my flesh. I fought back with all my might, ripping them apart with as much strength as I could muster, but they were too many. I ran off, deeper into the woods, my body aching and bloodied, before stopping in front of a cliff. Down below was a large river, roaring with the promise of a dangerous escape.
"There’s nowhere to hide now, Razor... just give up," growled a big white wolf at the front, communicating through our wolf forms.
"I swear, I’ll fucking kill you!" I barked back at him before leaping off the cliff into the churning waters below.
