Alpha Razor King-Chapter 126: Bad News.
**Isabella**
"Iβm so glad youβre back, Chris, and Iβm sorry about Tara. I know how you felt about her." ππβ―π¦ππ¦π£πππππ.πβ΄π
"Thank you, Luna," Chris replied, his eyes downcast. "I truly appreciate it. And she asked me to apologize to you. She truly regretted all her actions. You donβt have to forgive her, but I thought you deserved to hear it." His voice was solemn.
"Itβs alright, Chris. I donβt hold any grudges against her anymore," I reassured him.
"Thank you Luna. I have to go take care of things at the pack house until the boss returns."
"Iβd totally forgotten about that. So weβre going back there soon?"
"Yes," Chris nodded. "Everything is back in order."
"Alright then."
Chris nodded and walked away. I made my way to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water from the counter, and went to the living room. There, I saw Cross conversing with Anna.
"Here, have this," I said, handing the glass to Anna.
"Luna Isabella, Iβve already drunk enough water," she sighed.
"I know, Anna, but you have to stay hydrated constantly. So please, drink," I insisted gently.
"Thank you," she nodded with a smile and began drinking it.
Cross shook his head slowly, a deep frown on his face. "I canβt believe that Tom would go that far. Heβs such a monster."
"And the worst part is that heβs still alive and out there," I added with a snarl. The thought of Tom roaming free made my blood boil.
"Letβs just hope that Alpha Razor will finally destroy him," Anna said.
"I hope so," I sighed, resting my back against the couch. "I just want everything to end."
"What about Nathan? Is he alright now?" Anna asked, her expression filled with concern.
"Heβs still asleep, but Doctor John examined him and reassured me heβll be alright," I replied, a small smile tugging at my lips.
"Thatβs great," Anna smiled back. "And Luna, I want to thank you and Cross for taking care of me."
"Itβs alright, Anna. Besides, youβve been through a lot," I said gently.
"Isabella is right," Cross added. "Plus, I didnβt forget how you helped me all those times in the dungeon."
Anna smiled warmly before yawning. "Iβm so sleepy right now."
"Come on, Cross," I said, turning to him. "Take Anna to her room. She still needs a lot of rest."
Cross nodded and gently helped Anna up. "Letβs get you to bed," he said softly.
I watched Cross and Anna leave before finally getting up from the couch. These past few days had been hellish, but I was grateful Chris and Anna came back alive. Plus, I finally got my baby back. Now, I just had to await the return of Razor and Dean.
As I walked towards the stairs, I saw Lisa emerging from Feliciaβs room.
"How is she?" I asked.
"Sheβs not doing well, Isabella," Lisa replied. "Sheβs clearly devastated, but she understood why you did it."
I exhaled sharply, running my fingers through my hair. "I donβt know, Lisa. Maybe I shouldnβt have..."
"No, no," Lisa interrupted firmly. "You warned that girl several times, but she kidnapped your son and sold him off. She deserved everything she got."
"I know, but Kelsey was still Feliciaβs niece. Maybe I should go talk to her," I said, my voice wavering.
"Alright then," Lisa nodded towards Feliciaβs door. "Sheβs in there."
Taking a deep breath, I approached the door and knocked softly before entering. Felicia sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She looked up as I walked in, her expression a mix of grief and resignation.
"Felicia," I began gently, "Iβm so sorry about Kelsey."
She nodded slowly, wiping away a tear. "I know why you did it, Luna. She... she made terrible choices, but she was still my family."
"I understand," I said, sitting down beside her. "I didnβt want it to come to this. I truly hoped she would change."
Felicia let out a shaky breath. "She was stubborn, always thinking she could get away with anything. I guess it caught up with her."
"Iβm sorry," I repeated, placing a hand on her shoulder. "If thereβs anything I can do to help you through this, please let me know."
"Just... just give me some time," Felicia said, her voice breaking. "Time to process everything."
I nodded, understanding the depth of her pain. "Take all the time you need. Weβll be here for you."
As I stood up to leave, Felicia reached out and grasped my hand. "Thank you, Luna. For everything."
I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before exiting the room. Heading back to the living room, I found Lisa waiting for me. "How did it go?" she asked.
"She needs time," I replied. "But I think sheβll be okay eventually."
Lisa nodded in understanding. "We all need time to heal."
"Yes, we do," I agreed, glancing out the window. "I just hope she eventually does."
"She will. Felicia is strong," Lisa said.
We glanced out the window for some time before Lisa turned to me, her eyes sleepy. "Iβm so tired, I need to go to bed."
"I canβt do that right now, Razor isnβt back yet," I replied, the worry gnawing at me.
Lisa sighed. "Alpha Razor will be fine, Isabella, but itβs likely he might not return tonight. You need to rest, and besides, Nathan needs you also."
"Youβre right," I conceded. "I better go to bed."
"Yes, do that. Alpha Razor will be fine. Come on," she motioned at me, and we both went upstairs.
The next morning, I was rudely awakened by Nathanβs cry. My little pup was awake and hungry. I carried him gently and kissed his forehead before rushing to the kitchen to heat up his milk in the microwave. I noticed the dirty dishes in the sink and Feliciaβs usual presence in the kitchen was absent. Maybe she still needed more time.
Just then, Lisa walked in, panting hard. "Isabella, sheβs gone."
"Who? Whatβs going on?" I asked, panic rising.
"Felicia," she breathed sharply. "Sheβs gone. She took her bag and left. She left this on her bed." Lisa handed me a note.
"Iβm so sorry, Luna Isabella, but I need some time off away from everything. Thank you for everything, and my regards to Alpha Razor," the note read.
I was stunned, speechless. Lisa quickly took Nathan and his bottle from me because my fingers were trembling. "Itβs my fault, Lisa."
"No, donβt say that. She just needs time, thatβs all. Iβm sure sheβll come back," Lisa reassured me.
The kitchen door opened, and this time Dean walked in, although he looked sad and downcast. My heart skipped a beat. What the heck happened now?
He was walking too slowly for my liking, so I hurried to him instead. "Whereβs my husband? Whereβs Razor?"
Dean sighed, shaking his head. "Iβm sorry, Luna, but I think our Alpha is dead."
