Alpha Razor King-Chapter 110: Bow To Me.
**Chris**
"Are you alright, Tara?" I asked, straining to crane my neck in her direction. The heavy chains shackled to my wrists and ankles made it impossible to see her clearly.
She hesitated before answering, her voice a mere whisper in the oppressive darkness. "I’m okay, Chris."
"You don’t sound okay, Tara."
She let out a bitter laugh that quickly turned into a pained sound. "Well, I guess that’s what happens when all your fingers on your left hand get chopped off."
"I’m so sorry..." I began, but trailed off as she interrupted.
"Why are you apologizing? There’s nothing you could have done." She spat the words out.
"Let’s try and survive," I urged, trying to inject some hope into my voice. "I know that very soon, my boss will come back for us."
"For you, perhaps," she sighed. "I don’t think Razor gives a damn about me truly."
"Don’t say that."
"But it’s true," she choked on a sob. "I fucking ruined everything, Chris. I ruined my life."
"Tara," I said softly. "This isn’t the end. We can make it through this."
"I don’t know if I can believe that," she whispered. "Not anymore."
"He’ll come," I insisted, trying to sound more confident than I felt. "He won’t leave us here."
"Maybe for you," she repeated. "But not for me. I’ve made too many mistakes."
"Everyone makes mistakes, Tara. It’s what we do next that matters."
"Does it matter though? He doesn’t love me anymore," Tara said.
"You should really move on from that. It’s for your own good," I told her gently.
"I know...I just don’t know what to do with my life anymore."
"You’ll be fine," I reassured her.
"Chris, why are you doing this?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion.
"I don’t understand."
"Why are you still being nice to me in spite of everything?" She sobbed. "If I hadn’t agreed to work with Tom, all this wouldn’t have happened. It’s all my fault."
"Tara, you’ve made countless mistakes."
"Exactly, I keep making these silly mistakes over and over, so why? Why do you refuse to turn your back on me?"
"Because I love you," I blurted out. "I can’t help it in spite of everything. I know what you did was wrong, but I can’t stop loving you."
She was silent for a moment, but I could still hear her crying. "I’m a bad person, Chris...you shouldn’t..."
"We’ve both done bad things, Tara. Don’t even go there."
"You know what I’m talking about, Chris."
"I know," I muttered under my breath.
"I’m so sorry that I couldn’t give you my heart...you deserve so much better."
"You don’t have to feel pity for me."
"I don’t," she chuckled softly. "I’m just so grateful for having you in my life."
"Why do you love my Alpha so much?" I found myself asking, needing to understand.
"Apart from him being my one true mate...when Razor returned to Upperville, he was distant, cold, and didn’t let anyone in. But after we discovered each other, he let me in, loved me, protected me, and trusted me. I was his world."
She was right. My boss hadn’t cared about any relationship drama until he met her. He had literally fallen in love with her.
"So you see, Chris," she brought me out of my thoughts. "I don’t think I can ever love any man like I did Razor."
The sound of the iron door suddenly creaking open sent a shiver down my spine. Tom was here, and that meant more trouble. I could hear Tara’s breathing grow heavier. I knew she was afraid despite her putting on a brave front.
"Well, well, well, how are my two lovebirds doing?" Tom sauntered in, Cain following close behind. "I hope you both had a good night’s sleep."
"What are you trying to achieve with this, Tom? Please, let us go!" I pleaded, desperation creeping into my voice.
"Tom?" he spat out angrily. "Do you need me to teach you to call me Alpha?"
"I’ll never call you Alpha," I retorted, struggling futilely against the chains that bound me.
"Shut the fuck up and show some respect," Cain chimed in with a growl.
"What fucking respect?" Tara’s scowl drew their attention away from me. "Both of you are nothing but fucking puppies trying to act as some big bad wolf."
"Oh, so you still have the guts to challenge me?" Tom asked, a sadistic smile playing on his lips. "Bring her here," he ordered Cain, who quickly rushed to drag Tara to him.
Tara resisted, but Cain was too strong, as he hauled her across the room. She stumbled, but kept her head high, glaring defiantly at Tom.
"You think you can break me?" she spat. "You think this will make me bow to you?"
Tom laughed, a cold laugh. "Oh, you’ll bow, Tara. And you’ll also suffer."
He raised his hand, and I saw the gleam of a blade. My heart pounded heavily in my chest . "Don’t you fucking dare touch her!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the dungeon.
Tom ignored me, his eyes locked on Tara. "You see, Chris, the more she resists, the more pain I inflict. And trust me, I can inflict a lot of pain."
He brought the blade to Tara’s cheek, tracing a line down her skin. She winced but didn’t flinch, her eyes never leaving his.
"You’re nothing but a coward, Tom," I snarled. "Hiding behind the other alphas and your toys. You’ll never be a true Alpha."
Tom’s eyes flickered with rage. "I am the Alpha now," he hissed. "And you’ll learn to respect that, one way or another."
He pushed Tara away, letting her fall to the ground. She landed hard but quickly scrambled back to her knees, glaring up at him.
"You’ll never break us," she yelled . "No matter what you do."
Tom’s lips curled into a cruel smile. "Shut the fuck up."
"No, I won’t!" Tara yelled back, her voice echoing in the dungeon.
"Tara, please stop," I pleaded, fear tightening around my heart. I was afraid for her, afraid of what Tom would do. "Don’t provoke him anymore."
"No," she shook her head defiantly. "I’d rather die than bow down to him."
"That’s enough," Tom’s eyes smoldered with fierce anger. "Bow to me and kiss my feet."
Tara laughed, a harsh, bitter sound. "You must be fucking stupid."
"I’ve had enough," Tom growled, reaching for her left ear. With a swift motion, he cut it off with the blade.
Tara fell to the ground, clutching the side of her head and wailing in pain. Blood poured through her fingers, pooling on the cold, hard floor.
I saw red. Fury coursed through my veins as I struggled and kicked against my restraints. "You fucking bastard! You’ll regret this, I swear you’ll regret it!"
Tom and Cain only laughed.
"Call John and tell him to stop the bleeding," Tom ordered Cain. "I don’t want her to die... not yet."
John? I was kind of surprised he called for him. Ever since Tom took over, he had been wary of John. He didn’t trust him because he knew John was loyal to my boss.
Cain nodded and left the room to fetch John. Tom watched Tara with a cruel smirk as she writhed in agony on the ground, her cries echoing off the stone walls.
"Tara, hold on," I shouted, desperation lacing my words. "We’re going to get through this."
She looked up at me, her face contorted with pain but her eyes still filled with defiance. "I won’t give him the satisfaction," she spat out through gritted teeth.
"Stay strong," I whispered, my heart breaking for her. "We’re going to survive this. I promise."
Tom’s smirk widened. "Such touching loyalty," he mocked. "But loyalty won’t save you. You’ll both learn your place soon enough."
Cain returned with John, who quickly moved to tend to Tara’s wound. He worked silently, his face impassive as he tried to stem the bleeding.
"Make sure she survives," Tom instructed John. "I have plans for her."
"Yes Alpha," John nodded, focused on his task. Tara’s cries had subsided to whimpers, but she still glared defiantly at Tom, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing her completely broken.
He turned to leave, Cain following closely behind. As the door creaked shut, I locked eyes with Tara once more.
"Tara, stay strong," I whispered. "You’ll be alright." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
After John finished tending to Tara’s wounds, he picked up his bag and looked around nervously before turning his attention to us.
"Your dad is with the boss," he said quietly. "He’s told him about you."
"Really?" Tara’s eyes gleamed with hope. "So my dad is not dead?"
"No, he’s alive," John confirmed, then turned to me. "You have to hold on, alright? The boss is doing everything possible to get you out."
"Thank the Moon Goddess," I breathed a sigh of relief. "I have a request, John."
"What is it?" John asked, glancing anxiously toward the door. "You have to hurry before Cain returns."
"Could you please deliver a message to the boss?"
