Almighty Father System-Chapter 386: Darkness Within.

Leo had decreed that the person behind the evil racket being operated in the Clover Nation would be killed. Markus being the sword of the Cardinals moved quickly with his team. The people from the Pinnacle Securities have already established a big network in the Clover Nation way before anything. But their operatives have been working in shadows.

When the company shifted offices to the Clover Nation, these people were given a stable job in the Cardinal Group as various logistics and information department associates. Now, Markus called these people over, and gave them all various targets. All of these people were the men who have been through war and blood. Some had served the military while some had taken up the arms when they became mercenaries outside.

These people were quick to respond, and when they found what the person from the Aries family was indulging in such a dark world, they all were pissed off. On an average, around two hundred children and women in the Clover Nation were going missing daily. Although half the cases were solved, and the other half belonged to deaths that were discovered later, but one fourth of these complaints, about fifty people were actually missing.

Any human with any conscience would feel indignant by the revelations of the sins these people have commited upon deeper investigation. For the past two days, Leo was coming to the office and he was monitoring the investigation from his side, and while doing so, he was playing with his twins. He would be seen at many places in the company, sometimes he would be coming to the cafeteria and talking to the employees in the kitchen and guiding them on how to prepare the meals for children.

Then after two days, he was in the middle with a discussion with the Human Resources Director if they could use one of the floors in the building as the kid’s area so that some employees who have children to care for could have them brought directly to the office and then look after them? This way the children would be close, and they would see how hard their parents work.

The Director knew that he had no room of refusal, after all, the person before him was the Lion Of Cardinal. Yeah, Leo had a unfathomable prestigious image in the minds of the employees, his commands were not to be refused or brushed off. Even the senior most officers in the company could not compare to the wit and acumen he had.

Not to mention the deeds of charity and forsaking the bigger part of profits to help the nation get better, this was something that the people admired the most about it. After the kid’s area was confirmed.

Leo came back to his office and found Markus sitting outside. The latter said, "Sir, the mission is about to commence."

Leo nodded, and then looked at the two little ones in his arms, and said, "Babies, time to go and stay with Ma. She must be busy now, but I am sure that she would love to have you beside her."

Then he made a quick trip to Snow’s office on the floor below and said, "I have something going on, they should not be in the vicinity."

Snow nodded in understanding and began to coax the children before Leo departed back to his office. Kyle was posted outside the door, and his deputy was minding the stairgate. They were to make sure that nobody comes up. June was also present on the floor but she was limited to handling the phone calls that were coming in.

Inside the conference room, Leo and Markus sat before a big screen that was divided in twenty mini screens. Markus said, "We looked deep and found that there were around twenty key players in this. We targeted them first, and the rest of the minions would be handled in the background. None of the people involved would be spared. However, in the first phase, they would be kidnapped and then they would be given the royal treatment of Hell before thrown back into the public with all the evidence against them."

Leo nodded and asked, "How long would it take to deal with these people. Lily would be coming back and if she found that I am keeping something a secret, she would definitely try to peek into things. I don’t want to tell her but at the same time, I am weak before her innocent ways." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Markus smiled and said, "The men are already in position, it would not take too long. Just an hour. The feed is set so that you can see the whole proceeding from all twenty angles. Initially we realized that finding these people at the same time would be difficult, so from the data we had we found that the main black hand behind this was Herald Aries, so we had his preferred woman, use his phone and send a text to all the others about a party where they can gather and feast as the arrival of summer is to be celebrated. The plan worked rather smoothly, none of them suspected anything and have already gathered in a secluded log cabin in the eastern forests."

Leo nodded and said, "Then, let us begin."

Markus nodded and passed the command to the people, and the next moment, Leo watched the people move. The process was simple, they used tranq guns to subdue these men in a few moments. None of the people were given a chance to put up any resistance. They seemed to be still waiting for the precious cargo to be delivered. It was a truck filled with children kidnapped from various places in the country.

Markus said, "We have already rescued the children, they are being sent back home."

Leo nodded before he commented, "You all have done good work this time. Now, before any of the dogs behind these wolves get the scent, begin processing them. Isn’t that the term they use when they groom little girls into their toys? Processing? When you put them through the process, make sure that they watch each other going through the process of cleansing."

The people on the other side could hear his voice, and they replied in affirmative. Leo turned to look at Markus as he said, "Markus, I want you to issue an ultimatum in the country, if anyone tried to harm the children or women, they would be the enemy of the Blood Eagles."

Markus agreed as he said, "Sir, I was thinking if we let Yelena handle this task? She is specialized in these things and have been handling things regarding child welfare. So we can use her connections to gather more information. While these guys are the big players, there is always a small flee that hides behind the fur and is hard to pinch off."

Leo agreed with this before he said, "Sure, but tell her beforehand that she would need to use heavy means to handle these people. I am not looking for a soft love tap. The world needs to know that while Non-violence is the ultimate act of righteousness, so too is violence in service of justice.

The people who suffered at the hands of these monsters called humans. Those who commit sins against the innocent are not humans but beasts that are beyond saving. Such people, if they wish to repent, let them repent before the gods, since we are not gods, our only duty is to send them on their way to meet the god."

Markus shivered, he could tell that Leo was serious about the things that he said. He would have waged a war upon the people in the world for doing things like this. Markus sighed and said, "Sir, do you know that on the dark web there is a whole market for such things where people come up and pay to watch this abuse. It is as if the entire world is filled with trash."

Leo nodded and said, "Slowly, but surely, this trash will be disposed off. Just wait, I will not rest until this trash is cleaned Markus."

The latter could not guess what Leo had in his mind about this, but then again if he could think like Leo, wouldn’t he be Leo Cardinal. On the screen they watched the people being tied up to twenty high endurance poles and then the people took out knives before they started carving the people just like bloody eagle torture.

The fear and panic in the log cabin was visible, and the audio echoed in the conference room as if Leo and Markus were watching an opera. Leo said, "You know what Markus, sometimes I feel that by taking such actions will the Darkness inside my heart grow stronger? Will this make me too blood thirsty? But then it clicks to me, that sometimes we have to be the necessary evil so that the Justice could prevail."

Markus said, "Sir, from what I know, the ones who deal with evil in the world are not called the necessity evils, but the Heroes who are respected by the righteous and feared by those who hold darkness within them."

At this moment, Leo looked at his watch and said, "I want this all to be traceless and in the media by the morning tomorrow."

Markus nodded and then Leo left to pick up Lily, because while he was aware of his darkness, he knew that he had four lamps surrounding him with their smiles and for that, he didn’t mind hiding a little inside him.
