We headed to the workshop where Plana and Sahad lived. Even while on the way, the two kept having a serious conversation every once in a while. ๐™›๐˜ณ๐˜ฆe๐“Œe๐—ฏn๐—ผัต๐™šl.๐’„๐š˜๐‘š

Well, if he hates it that much, you donโ€™t really need to force him or anything, you knowโ€ฆ?

The place we arrived at was a small hut at the townโ€™s edge. However, it was still properly equipped with a blast furnace and so on, even if a number smaller than usual.

Tentatively I told them in advance, โ€œIf you donโ€™t feel like coming along, I wonโ€™t force you, okay? After all, youโ€™d just become a bother for the guys over at our base.โ€

Plana jumped up in surprise, violently shaking her head.

โ€œT-T-T-T-Th-Thatโ€™s not i-i-it at a-a-a-all!!โ€

โ€ฆOh really? If you say soโ€ฆ

Plana seemed to have almost no personal belongings. I heard she had Sahad let her freeload at his workshop. Since Sahad told me that he wanted me to take a look at his creations, I did.

โ€œOoooohhh!โ€

โ€œEh? This isโ€ฆtableware?โ€

He had produced earthenware tableware, something I hardly ever encountered in this world so far!

You see, somehow, all of it was made out of silver. Maybe because nobles are worried about poison or because it doesnโ€™t sell otherwise. Rich folks actually use tableware made out of gold, too! But, silver is soft, gets damaged easily, and rusts if it comes in contact with acid. In short, itโ€™s not really suited for being tableware.

Why donโ€™t they make tableware out of ceramics, was something I had already wondered beforehand.

โ€œHmm! I see! I see, I see!โ€

โ€œDo you like it?โ€ Sword asked.

I nodded, causing Plana and Sahadโ€™s faces to bloom.

โ€œHowever, Iโ€™d like it to be a bit more gorgeous. Have you worked with overglazes? Do you know about ceramics painting? Also, the shape. I want it to be more elaborate, and a bit thicker. Though I also want thin ceramics,โ€ I rattled down all I dreamed of.

Both nodded vigorously. But then Sword stopped me.

โ€œCalm down! You get really scary when excited!โ€

I took a deep breath.

โ€œโ€ฆForgive me. Oh right, you donโ€™t happen to have a glassmaker as an acquaintance? Weโ€™re brewing liquor at our base. Of course itโ€™s fine to fill it into ceramic bins too, but if possible, Iโ€™d love to use bottles where you can tell the liquorโ€™s color.โ€

โ€œA-Ah, in that case I can make glass as well. Iโ€™m capable of using earth and stone magic, thatโ€™s why. Since glass didnโ€™t really sell while I could sell earthenware goods to curious collectors, Iโ€™ve focused on the latter.โ€ ๐˜ง๐”ฏe๐—ฒ๐™ฌโ„ฏ๐™—๐“ทo๐˜ทe๐—น.๐œ๐‘œ๐’Ž

I grabbed the dwarven boyโ€™s hand and said, โ€œWonโ€™t you come to our base, please? I donโ€™t know whether youโ€™ll find soil that can be used for ceramics near our base, but Iโ€™ll help you with the search for the right soil, and Iโ€™ll also pay money for that sake. You might want to do your own creations, but Iโ€™ll have you first finish the things I order. But afterwards youโ€™ll be able to do as you please.โ€

โ€œO-Okay! Iโ€™ll go!!!โ€

He decided immediately.

โ€œYahooo! Sahad, weโ€™re going to be together from now on as well!โ€

Plana put on a display of beautiful friendship.

โ€ฆAahh, I get it. Her hesitation stemmed from her unwillingness of being separated from him. Itโ€™s really disappointing that they canโ€™t sleep with each other. No, wait. Maybe they have no sexual desires because theyโ€™re fairies?
