All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human-Chapter 196: Switch Program—The Rich Girl’s Counterattack (5)
"Yanzi, what are you saying? Yuaanyuaan just doesn’t know any better; he accidentally took your card. How can you curse him?" Zhang Juying couldn’t tolerate anyone speaking like that about her son. She didn’t care that the cameras were rolling; her face changed dramatically. "I know what kind of person my son is. He doesn’t have any bad intentions; he’s just curious and took it to have a look."
"You’re supposed to be a girl from the city, yet you’re so petty, even more so than us country folks. No wonder people say the richer you get, the more stingy you become."
The cameraman glanced at the footage and whispered to Director Lv Cheng, "Director, we might need to cut this part out later."
"No rush." It was the second day, and things were not going according to script. Lv Cheng had a vague feeling that this wasn’t good.
However, he didn’t stop Zhang Juying because as long as there’s conflict between the parties, that’s all that matters.
Conflict means there will be controversy when the show airs.
Nowadays, the biggest fear for a show when airing is the absence of controversy. Without buzz, there’s no online attention or traffic, meaning the program would be a definite failure.
At this point, Qiann Yan said no more.
Other than washing, using the toilet, and sleeping, the camera would be following her all the time. She wasn’t afraid of people talking but also didn’t want to create any real conflict, giving the program crew a chance to maliciously edit.
If necessary, she needed to get a mobile phone, preferably collaborate with someone in the village to secretly record.
She really liked that recording function.
Unfortunately, it’s not as convenient as the Image Stone.
How Zhang Juying’s son turns out in the future has nothing to do with her; she has no plans to educate other people’s kids.
Qiann Yan returned to her room with the card notebook. The room was simple and small, with just a bed, a table, and a chair. It used to be Zhou Lalann’s room.
For storing clothes, there was a wooden cabinet which was locked.
However, the original owner brought a suitcase. Since it’s summer now, she didn’t need many clothes, and the filming wouldn’t last too long, so the cabinet in the room wasn’t necessary.
Qiann Yan placed the card notebook in her backpack and stashed the backpack on top of the wardrobe.
She turned around and saw the cameraman standing at the door filming, but she paid no mind.
After putting everything away, she headed outside.
The cameraman hurriedly followed with his equipment, surprised when Qiann Yan suddenly started running. The staff yelled behind her, "Qiann Yan, where are you going? Slow down."
"Losing weight."
Without turning her head, Qiann Yan’s voice carried back. One of the original owner’s wishes was to lose weight, return to a normal person’s figure, and no longer hope for anything super slim.
She thought this young girl’s attitude was pretty good—steady and smart. If well-nurtured, she could become a useful talent.
But if the other party wants to reincarnate, she can’t really force her to stay around as a wandering ghost without a physical body in Great Rong.
Since losing weight was necessary, this summer vacation was a great opportunity. She didn’t want to tag along with Zhang Juying, dawdling over chores while being filmed by these people.
According to Zhang Juying’s stereotype of rich girls, they’re spoiled, know nothing, and are always nitpicking during chores.
But from behind the camera, she would put on a very simple smile, completely covering up her sharp and mean side. It’s truly laughable.
Rural people can be simple folks, but that doesn’t mean all rich girls are flawed, right?
Insisting on comparing the two and provoking conflicts is exactly what makes this program crew disgusting.
