The Heavenly Dao sends down rainwaters named Spiritual Fiend. Countless seeds absorb the nourishment, among which some grow the largest, overshadowing one area. Their roots expand, absorbing more rainwaters, making themselves increasingly enormous, storing the most nutrients, and causing their shadowed areas to no longer produce new trees.

An Jing does not feel ’close’ to the Embracing the Void Heavenly Dao at all. Despite being the Heavenly Mandate, he knows he is but a tool, refined and reliable over repeated uses by the Heavenly Dao. If the Heavenly Dao had self-awareness, it would certainly not ’love’ him.

Most likely, the Heavenly Dao does not possess self-awareness; it is a conglomerate treating all things as straw dogs.

But even so, An Jing believes the probability is small.

Destroying the sects’ mature system and equally distributing all Spiritual Fiend to all spirits would not change the outcome: the geniuses and strong among them would once again consolidate all resources, creating a new organization.

Is this right? Certainly not.

The Heavenly Dao definitely does not practice egalitarianism, or there would be no such thing as extraordinary. Wisdom itself would not appear, as having differing mentalities is inherently unequal.
