After work, start to speedrun the other world-Chapter 505 - 198: Will_2
After leaving the grand library,
Xi Mu glanced back, his ruby-like pupils appeared as if flames were burning within them. Suddenly the grand library burst into flames—not just the library, but the whole world abruptly caught fire, overwhelmed by the power of Ragnarok.
Having done all this,
Xi Mu vanished amidst the fierce flames, while the blindfolded nun remained silent for a moment. She didn’t choose to follow him but rather stayed where she was, waiting. She didn’t want to continue watching the King of Ash carry on with his slaughter.
...
Outside the Realm of Life,
Xi Mu emerged from the flames. He looked at the Goddess of Life not far from him and calmly walked past her.
"Aren’t you going to kill me?" the Goddess of Life asked, turning her head, her gentle voice tinged with confusion. She was already standing before the King of Ash, so why didn’t he swing his sword to kill her? It was as if he couldn’t see her at all.
However, she soon realized the reason. It likely was because the King of Ash thought her vitality was too strong; he didn’t want to kill her just yet.
It would be better to kill her after most life in this world had been erased and Ragnarok had burnt the world to a certain extent. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
And this meant that she could live a little longer.
"Buzz!" The barrier of the Realm of Life suddenly brightened, its defensive strength increasing by more than one level, and this clearly was the work of the Goddess of Life. She couldn’t possibly just watch the King of Ash enter the Realm of Life and slaughter at will.
Xi Mu stopped walking, turned around, and looked at the Goddess of Life. His long sword ignited with flames, emitting a terrifying high temperature that rivaled the sun.
The atmosphere grew tense.
"Ahtal, do you still retain a shred of sanity?" A cold female voice came from nearby as azure flames ignited the void. The Witch of Death appeared, her fingers characteristically interlaced in front of her chest.
"Sorry for wasting your time with delay." She dropped her interlaced hands and then conjured a dagger out of thin air.
Even though the King of Ash bore the appearance of Ahtal, she showed no mercy; on the contrary, she was more resolute.
Because the King of Ash was using the body of one of her followers.
"Is there really any meaning in fighting now?" The void was suddenly slashed open, and the Goddess of Death walked out. She flipped her scythe and, noticing the guaranteed hit effect on the King of Ash had failed,
With the power of Ragnarok combined with world dominion layered upon Ahtal, he had become an unprecedentedly terrifying entity.
This could probably only be matched by the God of Omniscience at his peak.
"If you think there’s no point, you can end your life yourself," a cold female voice said from the other side. The Creation Witch stepped out from the void.
Her amber eyes reflected the image of the King of Ash.
"Is the King of Ash still considered a life form?"
"He’s more like the embodiment of a concept. The vessel doesn’t matter," interjected the Goddess of Life, seeming to have grasped some of the truth about the King of Ash. From her perspective, the King of Ash was like a shell carrying the concept of Ragnarok, tasked with the mission of burning the world.
Maybe only after the world had burned down, and the concept of Ragnarok changed, would the body carrying the Ragnarok concept give birth to a desired consciousness.
Whether this consciousness was Ahtal was unclear.
But what could be confirmed was that this newly born consciousness would inevitably exist as a being driven to create a new world in the Ash Kingdom.
In other words, the Creator.
"At first the world was ash, until the Creator descended." Xi Mu’s fingers brushed over the blade, unfolding his inner kingdom.
But this time, the spread of his inner kingdom wasn’t limited to a few nations; it directly covered the entire high heavens.
Creating a world turned to ash after being burnt.
The Abyssal Dark World was barren; only the remnants quietly emitted a faint glow, providing limited light for the Ash Kingdom.
"He ignited the Primordial Spark, and thus light and darkness, heat and cold, life and death; contradictions unified yet opposing, gave birth to the world," recited Xi Mu as he swung the fire-tainted long sword, injecting momentum into this world, the demarcation of light and darkness setting this world into motion.
"God set down the rule on the first day, that one should not look directly at God."
Gone.
The Creation Witch’s eyes revealed wariness, as the King of Ash suddenly vanished from her view, as if her senses could no longer perceive his existence.
"God set down the rule on the second day, that anything not made by God should be cast into the Primordial Spark."
The Ash Fire instantly engulfed the Creation Witch’s body, burning her to ash in an instant. However, oddly, she was revived in a flash, using a power to resist the Ash Fire, although it was clear she was enduring it with her own magic power.
Undoubtedly, she had gained some resistance.
"We can’t go on like this," the Witch of Death suddenly appeared beside the Creation Witch, "If we keep letting him weave the narrative of creation, we’ll eventually be powerless to resist."
The moment she finished speaking, she felt a hand suddenly grab her foot, as if trying to drag her into the abyss.
Without a second thought, the Witch of Death flipped her dagger downward, stabbing, and immediately felt the hand on her foot disappear.
Why, in a deadly battle, would one grab her foot? That clearly had no impact on her, but then she remembered a scene in the Black Rose Kingdom.
