After Transmigration, The Male Lead and I had a HE-Chapter 61
Su Qiuge immediately pulled up the hood of her jacket to block her face. Then after thinking for a moment, she also helped Xie Xinglin to put the hood of his jacket on.
She didn’t forget to explain, “Seatmate, the sun is so bright today, be careful of getting sunburnt.
While she was babbling nonsense, she heard Xie Xinglin’s say in a slightly admonishing tone, “Stop moving.”
The soft touch of a girl was pressed against his back tightly. He couldn’t help but adjust his posture, and ended up moving the hands that held her thighs up a litte.
But this re-adjustment of their posture clearly caused both of their bodies to stiffen.
She had on shorts so his palm unconsciously swept across her smooth and tender thighs due to how close they were. When the thin calluses of his palm rubbed against her skin, it was a little itchy. There was also some ambiguity arising from where they touched.
It caused one to feel extra warm.
Su Qiuge knew her place and quickly stopped moving randomly about as she clasped onto his neck tightly.
Xie Xingling seemed to have also noticed something as the light within his eyes darkened.
The journey felt particularly long, and it was only when they’d both arrived at the school infirmary did the atmosphere between them finally return to normal.
The school doctor prescribed Su Qiuge with some medicine. Fortunately, there was nothing serious. The doctor only instructed her to not do any intense exercises for the next few days.
When Su Qiuge returned to the classroom, she unexpectedly discovered that the whole class was waiting for them in their seats.
Peng Jianda stood up, “Xiao Su, where did you two go?”
Su Qiuge was taken aback and was just about to explain, but Peng Jianda continued, “Hurry, hurry, the class monitor has already reserved our spot.”
Su Qiuge finally came to her senses. Previously, everyone agreed to go eat hot pot after the sports competition.
She originally thought that everyone would directly go over, so she had planned to find a random reason and politely decline on WeChat when the time comes.
But unexpectedly, they were all currently waiting for her.
When she thought to this point, Su Qiuge couldn’t refuse, “Okay, let’s go.”
Xie Xinglin, who stood behind her, briefly glanced at her ankle that had just been applied medicine. He originally wanted to say something, but when he heard what she said, he decided to not say anything.
The shopping street was especially lively in the evening. It was full of feasts and festivities, and the aroma of milk tea and barbecue swept through the entire street.
When they entered the restaurant, Class 1 unexpectedly ran into Class 12. It was only later that they found out that the class committee members of the two classes had simply decided to cooperate and reserve the entire restaurant.
Peng Jianda was very popular in his grade, so he was familiar with many people in Class 12.
The people in Class 12 saw him and said, “Okay, Fatty, your Class 1 is really such a dog this year.”
Peng Jianda smiled and said, “You guys are also very good. The match is already over, but either way, friendship comes first and competing is second!”
After he spoke, he intentionally glanced at Class 12’s people and asked in a low voice, “Su Yuanzhou and Gao Jing aren’t coming?”
Someone from Class 12 said, “Yeah, those two went to a club.”
Peng Jianda was relieved.
He hadn’t forgotten the matter of how those two wanted to deceive Xiao Su’s feelings.
Fortunately they’re not here.
Su Qiuge’s table happened to be joined with Class 12’s table. Xie Xinglin sat opposite of her and the moment he sat down, he stared down at his phone.
Su Qiuge was quite bored. She held her chin the entire time as she watched a boy from Class 12 put chili pepper covered beef into the pot. He also said to the person beside him, “When the tender beef is put into the pot, you have to maintain the temperature. And if it’s in there a second too long, it’ll be overcooked, and undercooked if it’s a second too short.
Then this expert helped everyone at the table to put beef into the pot.
Midway through, a few students from the other classes came to join them for dinner, including Han Ming. He directly sat down beside Xie Xinglin.
Halfway through the meal, it wasn’t known which table started playing a finger-guessing alcohol game.
The atmosphere once again became warm and friendly, and the steam from the hot pot was dissipated by the laughter.
Su Qiuge had immersed herself in eating meat when she suddenly discovered that Peng Jianda had unexpectedly stood up.
Peng Jianda’s originally white and chubby face had become red from drinking alcohol. He hiccuped and then gave a speech, “Our class was able to win first place thanks to the outstanding service of our Xiao Su, Brother Xing, and the rest of the athletes.”
“We must toast to you.”
