After ONS: Trapped by the Cunning Professor-Chapter 315 - 316 Clearly Just Biased
Bai Lu was eating in the cafeteria. Since Lou Xi stopped living on campus, Bai Lu had been having dinner alone, and sometimes it felt rather lonely.
In the evening, she ordered a set meal because she didn’t want to bother picking dishes; it was easier to let the cafeteria aunty just prepare something for her.
Suddenly, someone sat in front of her.
When Bai Lu looked up, she saw Lu Li’s devastatingly handsome face.
Sometimes Bai Lu thought, Lu Li really is handsome. Dating him would be quite an eye-pleasing experience.
However, she felt like she was past the age for impulsive romances and wanted a plain and steady relationship that could last long.
Clearly, a man like Lu Li didn’t fit Bai Lu’s requirements.
After glancing at Lu Li, Bai Lu lowered her head and continued eating, pretending she hadn’t seen him.
"I haven’t had dinner yet." Lu Li looked pitifully at Bai Lu’s dinner, which appeared... not very appetizing.
But, he had to act like it was delicious; otherwise, Bai Lu might very well get rid of him.
Bai Lu ignored him.
"I just came from the company, searched all over the campus to find you! It was exhausting, tiring, and I’m starving!" Actually, it only took him a few minutes to find out where Bai Lu was.
Because his confession in the morning had already made him a star at Nan University, as soon as he arrived, someone told him where Bai Lu was.
So indeed, being handsome has certain advantages!
But Bai Lu continued eating her dinner without the slightest response.
"Bai Lu, I’ve been sitting opposite you for quite a while. Could you give me a bit of response?" Even though he had been rejected, Lu Li had a persistent spirit that never gave up.
After all, he felt he had met a girl he might like for a lifetime.
How does that saying go? Missing this village means missing the shop.
Bai Lu raised her head, glanced at him, "Then? What sort of response should I give you?"
"I’m hungry." Lu Li was genuinely starving while staring at Bai Lu’s food.
"If you’re hungry, just go eat for yourself. Why are you staring at me?" Besides, she’d eaten half of her meal; she didn’t believe Lu Li would want to take any.
"Do you need a campus card to pay at your school?" Lu Li glanced at the campus card Bai Lu had placed on the table and asked.
Did that mean Bai Lu would treat him to a meal? But seeing how genuinely hungry Lu Li seemed, Bai Lu felt bad about not offering even one meal, especially since he helped her with her mother’s affairs. She couldn’t forget his kindness.
"Go ahead and use it..." Bai Lu was just about to push the campus card halfway across the table when Lu Li picked it up.
"From which window did you get your set meal?"
"Number five."
"I want to eat the same thing!" With that, Lu Li went off to buy food.
Bai Lu: "..."
She only wished she could quickly turn down such an attractive, charming, handsome bachelor.
Shortly, Lu Li returned with a tray.
Looking at Lu Li’s tray, Bai Lu really felt the cafeteria aunt was biased, absolutely biased!
Both meals cost eight yuan, so why did Lu Li have so many sweet and sour ribs that they were practically overflowing?
"Looks like it’s going to be delicious!" Lu Li eagerly picked up a piece of sweet and sour rib with his chopsticks, "And there’s a lot of it; your school’s cafeteria is really affordable!"
Bai Lu forced a wry smile; it wasn’t the school’s cafeteria being affordable, clearly, it was the aunt’s favoritism!
