After my divorce, I started to have good luck-Chapter 963 - 513: Cousin Starts College
Days passed quietly like flowing water.
This day, Chen Feng personally drove to the airport to pick someone up.
He was picking up his aunt and cousin, along with the mother and daughter duo of Tong Yirou who he had met before.
His cousin Fang Min and Tong Yirou were high school classmates and had now both been accepted into East Sea Business University. Their relationship was very good, so naturally, they came together.
Chen Feng picked up the four people and returned to the city. It was almost one o'clock in the afternoon, so he first took them to Fuman Building for a meal.
This meal made his aunt, Chen Xiaoxia, very satisfied, and it also made her look good in front of Tong Yirou's father.
Tong Yirou's father wore glasses and had a refined appearance. Previously, Chen Xiaoxia introduced him in the Lu City dialect as a director of a significant department in their local area.
Therefore, Chen Xiaoxia was somewhat intentionally trying to befriend him.
Now her nephew was driving a luxury car to pick them up and had invited them to dine at Fuman Building, earning her quite a bit of face.
After the lunch, Chen Feng took them to Business University to handle enrollment procedures. He didn't just drop them off and leave but accompanied them throughout and helped out.
This was inevitable, as his aunt had always been very good to him, even raising him when he was a child. Besides, he didn't have much to do now and was just idly browsing his phone at home.
Once the enrollment procedures were done, he didn't leave but continued to accompany his aunt and cousin to the girls' dormitory.
Fang Min and Tong Yirou ended up in different dormitory buildings, so they went their separate ways.
Since it was the opening period and still daytime, girls' dormitories didn't prohibit male family members from entering.
The dormitory assigned to his cousin Fang Min was relatively good, with four people per room, a bathroom, air conditioning, and a washing machine. These conditions were much better than when Chen Feng was a student.
The other three girls in the dormitory had already arrived, and Fang Min was the last one. Besides her empty bed, the other three beds were already tidied up.
Chen Xiaoxia warmly shared the special snacks she brought with the three girls and their parents, and soon, everyone got acquainted with each other.
After a round of interactions, the personalities of the three girls seemed decent enough, and Fang Min should be able to get along well with them in the dormitory.
Chen Feng also chatted a bit with some of the parents, one of whom was local, the father of one of the girls. Upon hearing that Chen Feng, the cousin, now lived in Xiu Zhou, he casually asked where Chen Feng lived. Chen Feng told him he lived in Red Villa Bay.
As expected, being a local, when he heard the name, he immediately knew the place and showed great respect, with the slightly arrogant expression from before quickly toned down. He smiled and complimented, "Red Villa Bay is a famous villa district in that area of East City; it's really impressive that you can afford a house there."
Chen Feng smiled without pretending to be humble.
This father continued to chat with Chen Feng for quite a while, mainly wanting to cultivate a relationship, asking what business Chen Feng was in and if he was married, among other things.
Of course, Chen Feng didn't go into detail, simply stating that he invested in several companies and was currently single with no children.
Later on, when the other party probably sensed Chen Feng's lack of interest, he sensibly refrained from nosily asking further questions.
After staying at the dormitory for more than half an hour, Chen Xiaoxia finally remembered to buy bedding for her daughter.
The school's supermarket had them for sale.
So Chen Xiaoxia took Chen Feng and her daughter downstairs to buy them. But after checking the school supermarket, they only bought a mat, as none of the air conditioning blankets or pillows were satisfactory.
Chen Feng had to take them outside the campus to shop since there was a large mall not far from Business University, which housed brand textile stores.
The mother and daughter spent a while choosing and ended up buying both autumn and winter quilts, with Chen Feng inevitably carrying the heaviest items.
Returning to the girls' dormitory, several parents had left, and only two of the three girls remained.
Chen Xiaoxia kept busy cleaning her daughter's bed and the mat, and washing the newly purchased air conditioning blankets and pillowcases in the washing machine.
They were pretty busy.
Without much for Chen Feng and Fang Min to do, they could only wait.
Fang Min wasn't exactly introverted and took the initiative to chat with the two girls.
These two girls were average-looking; not ugly but not especially pretty either. They probably didn't know much about dressing up or makeup yet, being only seventeen or eighteen years old.
The other girl, who wasn't in the dormitory, was quite pretty, from Xi Province. She came with her parents and judging by their attire, her family seemed to be well-off.
The personalities of the two current dorm mates were quite nice, one was a bit shy and introverted, from Huai Province, seeing her and her father's attire, their family seemed average. The other was more outgoing, local to Xiu Zhou, and mainly the one chatting with Fang Min.
This outgoing girl was very curious about Chen Feng, her cousin companion, just like her dad, and actively asked Fang Min what he did.
Fang Min, with a child-like desire to show off, began to talk non-stop, hardly giving Chen Feng a chance to stop her.
Mostly, she talked about Chen Feng's identity as the boss of Fengmang Film and Television Company, the producer of the hit TV series "Mountain Order" and "Please give me more advice in the rest of my life".
The two girls from the dorm initially found it hard to believe. Fang Min immediately took out her phone and showed them photos of her with Luo Yingying and Zhang Hang.
During her previous visit to Xiu Zhou, she stayed for several days, ultimately getting the chance to take photos and get autographs from both of them.
"I wasn't lying to you, was I? They're all signed artists of my brother's company and have to listen to him."
Fang Min proudly boasted to the two girls.
The two girls suddenly looked at Chen Feng with different eyes, showing stars of admiration.
Seeing this, Chen Feng couldn't keep quiet anymore and stepped forward with a smile, telling them, "Don't listen to Little Min bragging. I'm not involved in the business as the company boss, and I'm only cooperating with these artists."
Upon hearing this, Chen Feng turned to Fang Min and pretended to admonish her, "Little Min, did you forget what I told you last time? Don't always talk about my affairs. I'm just your cousin, nothing more impressive than you brag about."
Fang Min pretended to be embarrassed, stuck out her tongue, and said, "Okay, brother. I was wrong. I know you like to keep a low profile. I'll try not to talk about your affairs in the future. You two must keep it a secret too, don't go around sharing details about my brother."
The two girls nodded immediately.
Chen Feng could only smile and shake his head ruefully.
Because Chen Feng was standing nearby, the two girls became noticeably more reserved. Seeing this, Chen Feng decided to move away and stand at the dormitory entrance, browsing his phone.
His aunt needed some more time to finish washing the air conditioning blankets and pillowcases.
And he still had to be the driver to take the mother and daughter to stay at Red Villa Bay.
This was unavoidable, as previously his cousin and her two classmates came together, and he could arrange their stay at a hotel.
But now, with his own aunt here, and since his home was spacious enough, he definitely couldn't send them to a hotel again. Otherwise, it would seem too distant.
