It was around ten in the evening when Chen Feng returned to his home at Villa No. 8, and Sun Xiaorui was still awake, watching TV in the living room on the first floor as she waited for him to come back.

She just slightly inquired about where Chen Feng had been playing tonight, and after Chen Feng briefly explained, he went upstairs to take a shower.

Chen Feng thought about it and eventually said, "How about this; I really can't make it this morning, but I'll come over in the afternoon to accompany you. How does that sound?"

Anna, being straightforward, said, "Not great, but since you put it that way, I have no choice. Just come by in the afternoon to join us. I'll contact you then. Oh, by the way, check WeChat later."

After saying that, she hung up the phone and soon sent a very direct message.

Anna responded with a smiley face.

Their conversation officially ended.

Not long after, Qin Zhen called Chen Feng too, immediately complaining: "Why did you bail today? If you're not accompanying those two foreign girls, at least accompany me. I don't have anyone to chat with over here, and it's really boring. I know you have nothing going on; just come and chat with me."

Chen Feng replied irritably, "Accompanying them is work for you, while for me it's just a hassle. You saw it; I was with them from the afternoon till night yesterday. What did I do? After breakfast, he lay on the sofa browsing his phone, and the morning quickly passed.

In the afternoon, after having lunch with Sun Xiaorui who got off work, he received another call from Anna. Checking the time, it was just after twelve, not even one o'clock yet. This clearly seemed a bit early.

But Chen Feng couldn't delay further, made some preparations, and drove over.

This time, Jin Xinyan brought them to the Wetland Park. This place was quite large; they had been playing there all morning, but only covered about a third in a cursory manner.

They planned to continue exploring in the afternoon.

After finishing dinner and resting for a while, they wandered around nearby, took in the night view, and then planned to head back home.

But just when saying goodbye to Vivian and Anna, Chen Feng suddenly had a palpitation and felt a wave of danger surge through him.
