After Divorce: Remarried to a Tycoon with Twin Babies-Chapter 111: Reversal! The Big Creditor Comes in Person!
Vivian Sinclair used all her strength, and instantly, her mouth was filled with a strong taste of blood.
Then, the blood began to flow from her mouth and between Austin Grant’s palm.
Austin Grant screamed miserably, "Ah—"
"Let go!"
Austin Grant almost reflexively grabbed Vivian Sinclair’s hair and then forcefully pulled her entire head backward.
Vivian Sinclair’s head hit the back of the chair heavily.
She was so dizzy that she didn’t come to her senses for a long time.
But even so, she bit down hard again—
Austin Grant’s hand hung bloodied, and a piece of flesh was bitten off by her alive!
"You—"
Austin Grant’s eyes were bloodshot, and he was almost driven insane.
He always knew she was crazy, but he didn’t expect that when she went mad, she would really disregard everything.
Just as he raised his hand in a rage, wanting to inflict more pain on her, the tightly closed iron door crashed open with a loud bang.
"Stop!"
"What do you think you’re doing?"
"Hurry up and release Miss Sinclair!"
Several figures rushed in.
"Miss Sinclair, we are truly sorry, they made a mistake, and without sufficient evidence, you were brought here."
"We sincerely apologize."
"Those responsible have been punished according to the law, and we apologize for the mental damage caused to you."
"We hope you can accept it."
Several people who looked like leaders suddenly appeared and personally came up to unlock Vivian Sinclair’s handcuffs.
Two female officers even personally came forward and carefully helped Vivian Sinclair out of the chair.
Vivian Sinclair was thus released from the interrogation room.
Austin Grant was still puzzled, dragging his wounded hand as he quickly followed but didn’t see the informant he had just seen among the crowd.
He realized something was wrong and rushed over to grab Vivian Sinclair, who was already escorted to the door: "Vivian Sinclair, you can’t go—"
Two unfamiliar police officers stopped him coldly.
"President Grant, don’t think that just because you used some tricks, we can’t do anything about you."
"If Miss Sinclair insists on pursuing the matter, even your protector can’t shield you!"
"Please remember, this is the police station, not the Grant Group where you can manipulate everything single-handedly!"
Vivian Sinclair, walking in front, immediately halted her steps upon hearing this sentence.
"Oh?"
"I can pursue the matter?"
"Will you really punish him according to the law?"
With that, she turned around and solemnly raised her hand: "Then, officers, I want to make a formal complaint against President Austin Grant of the Grant Group for using his connections to collude with others, employing methods of framing and threatening my personal and life safety."
"I request a legal investigation into him."
Everyone in the hall of the bureau looked shockingly at Vivian Sinclair, and the place became instantly silent...
Vivian Sinclair sneered coldly in her heart: She knew they wouldn’t play fair!
Just then, Elias Sinclair and Catherine Sinclair had already rushed in upon hearing the commotion.
Just in time to hear what Vivian Sinclair had said.
Elias Sinclair kept a stern face without speaking, while Catherine Sinclair silently gave Vivian Sinclair a thumbs up.
Austin Grant’s chest heaved with anger, and he lifted his bloody hand, glaring darkly at Vivian Sinclair: "You report me? Then should I call the police on site and charge you with intentional injury?"
Before Vivian Sinclair could speak, Elias Sinclair intervened sternly: "Enough!"
Elias Sinclair stepped forward, blocking Vivian Sinclair, "Austin Grant, your methods are sordid and despicable."
"The Sinclair Family isn’t dead yet!"
With this sentence, Austin Grant realized that tonight’s events were orchestrated by Elias Sinclair to smoothly get Vivian Sinclair out of the police station!
Austin Grant sneered continuously with anger: "Well, the Sinclair Family is quite capable; I indeed underestimated you!"
"But Elias Sinclair, you only think of backing her up now, don’t you think it’s too late?"
"You and I have long become blacklisted in her life. She won’t forgive us."
"Looks like she won’t look back."
Austin Grant’s gaze wandered afar, eyes still carrying mockery, prompting Elias Sinclair to suddenly turn and check behind him.
Where was the shadow of Vivian Sinclair behind him?
Even Catherine Sinclair was gone!
Elias Sinclair’s facial expression turned instantly as dark as a pot’s bottom, "Damn it!"
He immediately pulled out his phone to dial Vivian Sinclair’s number, yet only came the cold electronic voice: "Sorry, the number you have dialed is powered off..."
Austin Grant’s smugness didn’t hold for more than a few seconds because a pair of cold handcuffs had already fastened on him.
"President Grant, since Miss Sinclair has reported you, please cooperate with the investigation."
Vivian Sinclair sat in the car, receiving the phone handed over by Catherine Sinclair.
Finding it had powered off due to being out of charge.
Catherine Sinclair: "Sorry. Someone kept calling you, and I didn’t dare to answer, so by the time I reached the police station, it was drained."
Vivian Sinclair: "It’s okay. Thank you for contacting someone for me."
"Patrick Powell, thank you too."
"You always surprise me. Can I know who you contacted this time? The people at the police station seemed quite intimidated."
"Had the connection not been strong enough, Austin Grant’s strong backing wouldn’t have been suppressed... I wouldn’t have come out of the police station so easily either..."
Just as Vivian Sinclair came out earlier, she saw Patrick Powell already waiting by the roadside.
When Austin and Elias started arguing, she quickly pulled Catherine into the car and sped away.
After getting into the car, Vivian drank half a bottle of water, caught her breath, and began sorting her thoughts.
Unexpectedly, Patrick glanced at her through the rearview mirror and said, "Boss, you’ve misunderstood. I wasn’t the one who got you out."
Catherine hurriedly added, "Vivian, I didn’t contact him either—" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"Actually, the one I found was my brother."
"But as you mentioned, your husband... I mean, ex-husband, has connections, so my brother is still working on clearing the relationship, but you were already released."
Vivian was baffled.
"What do you mean it wasn’t you who rescued me?"
Catherine shook her head, "It really wasn’t us."
Patrick also said, "I was notified that something happened to you, so I came to pick you up."
Vivian looked at her phone.
The one who kept calling her...
She then asked Catherine, "You said the person who kept calling me but you didn’t dare to answer, what was his contact note?"
Catherine had a peculiar expression, "Your note is: Major Debtor."
Julian Thorne?
Him again?
But at the moment this name popped up in her mind, Vivian wasn’t surprised at all.
In Ardis, who else could it be but him?
Stuff that The Sinclair Family couldn’t accomplish.
Only he could get her out of this mess!
Someone who could have her released with respect and apologies.
Vivian felt an indescribable strange sensation in her heart.
As if something sharp had pierced it, making a ’pop’ sound.
Her heart fluttered uncontrollably.
But then the phone ran out of battery, so she handed it to Patrick to charge.
Vivian was originally exhausted and sleepy.
However, at that moment, she suddenly became much more awake.
As soon as the phone rebooted, Vivian immediately picked it up to check.
Scrolling down, Julian had actually called her more than fifty times!
Vivian’s finger paused on that name. As she hesitated about whether to call back, the phone rang first.
The screen once again displayed those three big words: Major Debtor!
Since her teacher’s surgery, she had changed the note to this, and now it seems this debt is entangled more than ever.
Just as she was about to answer, Patrick suddenly braked hard.
"Boss, are you okay? Someone deliberately blocked our way ahead."
"Don’t worry, I’ll immediately call for help."
Patrick adjusted his glasses on his nose, quickly locked the doors and windows, then took out his phone to make a call.
Vivian pulled Catherine back further into the shadows.
But just then, someone got out of the car blocking their way.
Upon recognizing the figure, Vivian quickly approached and grabbed Patrick’s shoulder to stop his calling action, "No need."
"It’s the person who notified you to come for me."
After saying this, Special Assistant Linden came forward and knocked on the window.
Patrick hurriedly rolled down the window, and Leo Linden smiled gently, "Hope I didn’t scare you."
"I’ve come to invite Miss Sinclair."
"Miss Sinclair, Master Julian is waiting for you."
"Would you like to go over."
Vivian nodded, "I’ll go right away."
Patrick immediately got out to open the door for her, but Catherine pulled Vivian’s wrist, "Are you really going?"
"That’s your major debtor!"
"How much do you owe him? I’ll go back and persuade Mom and Dad and brother to help you resolve this, don’t go."
"At worst, we’ll earn money together, we’ll eventually pay it off."
"You can’t just leave the police station and step into the lion’s den; this is your own life safety!"
Catherine rattled off a whole lot, her eyes full of worry about Vivian’s decision to go meet Julian.
Leo Linden was speechless.
Patrick turned his face aside, pretending to have heard nothing.
Vivian smiled tightly.
"Catherine, thank you for your concern."
"And, you’ve worked hard running around for me tonight, remember to rest early."
"If you don’t want to return to The Sinclair Family, you can stay at my place as long as you want. If you’re out of money, I’ll have Patrick give you some, you don’t have to worry about anything else."
"Nothing will happen to me."
"Rest assured."
Vivian said this and patted Catherine’s hand, then stepped down from the car.
Catherine watched miserably as Vivian got into the luxury car, and as it drove away, she could do nothing but worry.
After Patrick got back into the car, he glanced back, still couldn’t help but say, "Miss Sinclair, don’t worry, Boss truly won’t be in danger."
Catherine: "How do you know? Ever since the truth about her birth came out, I knew her situation has always been tough... Could it be she’s sold herself to find someone more powerful than The Grant Family and The Sinclair Family?"
