Chapter 913: Chapter 913: I Will Always Be Willing to Carry You on My Back

Every girl walking by couldn’t help but envy Isabella Weaver.

Though the foot of the mountain was still relatively flat, after walking a lot, your calves would start to feel sore and your feet weak. Some girls would act coquettishly and want their boyfriends to carry them.

Unfortunately, her boyfriend was not that considerate and said, "We haven’t even started climbing the mountain yet, and you want me to carry you? Don’t be so delicate; Mount Verity is only a thousand meters high!"

The girl’s eyes immediately reddened, and she looked at Isabella being carried in the distance, unable to suppress her grievances.

Her boyfriend was so handsome and willing to carry his girlfriend, his love was evident. Her boyfriend, while plain in looks, wasn’t even caring.

She wasn’t being delicate,

She just wanted a bit more affection; she only wanted him to carry her briefly, not for long.

Girls’ grievances can be so inexplicable; thinking about it, she started to cry and argued with her boyfriend.

Isabella watched in shock; would that really start an argument?

It seemed as if she and Harry Hunter seldom argued; even if she sometimes created a scene, Harry always accommodated her and never let her suffer.

This little couple’s quarrel, in some way, was connected to their own marital dynamics. Isabella thought about it and asked Grace Watt to say a few words.

Grace went over as instructed by Isabella and told them it was because Isabella was pregnant that her husband was carrying her, and he didn’t usually do that.

Unexpectedly, after Grace explained, they argued even more fiercely.

"Look, she’s pregnant, so her husband carries her. You’re not pregnant; why are you acting more delicate than a pregnant woman!"

"What does pregnancy have to do with this? You won’t even carry me for a bit; how can I rely on you for anything in the future? Will you be good to me later?"

"You have your own hands and feet, so why do you keep relying on me? How am I not good to you? You said you wanted to go out, and I brought you out. What more do you want?"

"What’s fun about Mount Verity? It’s just a lousy mountain. Look around, how many people are here? Plus, we’ve been here before; what’s the point of coming again?"

The two argued endlessly, while Isabella and Grace exchanged looks.

To them, Mount Verity was quite enjoyable: pure natural scenery, little fish and shrimp; they’d caught a pretty wild chicken too.

Isabella obediently lay on Harry Hunter, no longer trying to play the mediator.

From this small action, Harry felt the innocence in her heart, felt her understanding nature.

"Baby," Harry called her softly.

"Hmm?"

"Even if you’re not pregnant, I’ll still carry you; you can always ask this of me anytime."

Isabella turned her face and gave him a kiss, "I know!"

She knew he never made empty promises; once promised, he’d surely do it.

"But I’m not tired; I’m afraid of tiring you out carrying me, especially now that there are two of us!"

Harry laughed, "What two? You both combined weigh less than 50 kilograms; there’s no way I’d be tired. I can carry you up Mount Verity and still be energetic afterward. Do you believe it?"

"Yes, yes, yes, you’re the best!"

"Yeah, I really am quite amazing."

"But we’re not climbing; we’re going back to eat."

Isabella was worried he might actually carry her up the mountain and quickly vetoed the dangerous proposal; he might not mind the strain, but she was concerned!

Though speaking in hushed tones, Grace and David could still hear clearly.

They exchanged glances, each seeing a sense of reflection in the other’s eyes.

In relationships, people should empathize with each other, not point fingers. Even the best relationships can be drained away otherwise.
