After Being Betrayed I Married the Glamorous CEO-Chapter 192: Don’t Take My Words Lightly!
Among the crowd, probably only Yu Shan knew exactly how terrifying Shen Fanyun was. This was a man who dared to show the Hong Family no respect whatsoever. His own master certainly wouldn’t be enough to intimidate him. Yu Shan felt extremely frustrated. Is this just a recent unlucky streak, or has my misfortune finally hit rock bottom? Why did I have to run into Shen Fanyun, this walking disaster, again? Furthermore, Yu Shan never would have expected that Li Huanhuan knew Shen Fanyun, let alone that she would call him "Master" so sweetly.
"Mr. Shen, one should be merciful when possible. I admit I was in the wrong," Yu Shan said. "I promise I won’t bother Huanhuan anymore. I beg you, please let me off the hook."
From Yu Shan’s perspective, survival was far more important than dignity. At a critical juncture like this, refusing to back down was no different from suicide.
However, to everyone else’s ears, these words were simply astounding. Since when had the Hou Clan fallen to such a pathetic state? Elder Hou Si’s prized disciple was actually... cowering? This was a world away from the Hou Clan’s usual domineering and arrogant demeanor.
Li Huanhuan was stunned. She hadn’t expected things to be resolved so easily. She had been worried that Shen Fanyun would provoke Elder Hou Si, causing the situation to escalate beyond control.
"Go back and tell that worthless master of yours that if he continues to act so arrogant and domineering, I wouldn’t mind tearing down his dojo one day."
The crowd fell silent.
Only Yu Shan remained silent, gritting his teeth. He knew Shen Fanyun wasn’t bluffing. At the same time, he was giving them a chance to turn over a new leaf. If they continued their high and mighty ways, they might as well just close their dojo for good. Who knew, Shen Fanyun might even dispose of Elder Hou Si along with them. There was no need to doubt if Shen Fanyun could do it. The last person to argue with him, Hong Danggui, had his face slapped until it was swollen.
"I... I understand. I will be sure to remember Mr. Shen’s warning."
Yu Shan lowered his head in promise. He then scrambled to his feet and vanished, his disciples in tow.
Li Huanhuan was still in shock, unable to extricate herself. The onlookers also felt an unimaginable jolt of shock. The Hou Clan... had backed down? At the very least, Yu Shan was now thoroughly terrified of confronting Shen Fanyun. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have fled so quickly, as if afraid Shen Fanyun would change his mind at any delay.
"Master, you... you’re incredible!" Li Huanhuan’s eyes began to shimmer, a captivated gaze fixed on Shen Fanyun.
As Li Huanhuan’s best friend, Su Xiyang subconsciously felt that such an overt display of emotion was very dangerous for Li Huanhuan.
"Master, when can we start learning martial arts?" Li Huanhuan asked excitedly, unable to wait as she latched onto Shen Fanyun’s arm.
"Huh?"
This woman is serious? She really wants me to teach her martial arts?
"How about... how about tomorrow? I’m very diligent, and I don’t want to waste a single day," Li Huanhuan decided for him.
It had to be said, Li Huanhuan was seriously stacked, a true milk cow. That casual movement stirred Shen Fanyun’s desires. And with assets of that magnitude, the sensation was truly something else.
I just wonder how they feel to the touch...
"Master, you can’t hold anything back, okay?" Li Huanhuan giggled.
Shen Fanyun was helpless. "Miss, please stop jiggling."
If you keep this up, I might jiggle out some of my future descendants!
Li Huanhuan seemed oblivious that Shen Fanyun’s elbow had been pressed against her magnificent assets for nearly a full minute. Even when Shen Fanyun cleared his throat to remind her, she still didn’t seem to react. She even squeezed Su Xiyang aside, planting herself in the middle to chat and laugh with Shen Fanyun, ignoring Su Xiyang almost completely.
Su Xiyang suddenly felt a pang of jealousy. She didn’t know why, but it was as if a cherished toy had been snatched away by an outsider. Even though Li Huanhuan was her best friend, it still wasn’t okay.
"Yun, I want to go for a walk tonight. You haven’t spent time with me in so long," Su Xiyang said to Shen Fanyun, maintaining her cool and aloof CEO persona.
But that single word, "Yun," made Shen Fanyun’s skin crawl. Has Su Xiyang had a change of heart or something? This sounds so weird!
"Where are you going for a walk? I’ll come with you," Li Huanhuan replied, completely missing the irritation in Su Xiyang’s voice.
Su Xiyang shook her head. "Maybe next time. I’ll go with you alone then. This time, I have a date with a guy, so you’d better not come. I wouldn’t want you to be the third wheel!"
Shen Fanyun was speechless. This woman is really strange. Could it be... she’s jealous?
Heh. Shen Fanyun was amused. Su Xiyang can actually get jealous? Isn’t she always indifferent to my private life? And now, of all days, she decides to get possessive?
Li Huanhuan caught the hint. Although she was disappointed, she still respected Su Xiyang’s decision. "Okay, okay! In that case, I’ll borrow Master for the day tomorrow."
"Well then, Master, see you tomorrow! Tee-hee!" Li Huanhuan waved her cute little paws at Shen Fanyun and departed.
Shen Fanyun stood watching her leave, admiring her enchanting waist, the full curve of her hips, and her graceful stride.
"I never expected you to have such a beautiful best friend," Shen Fanyun remarked.
"Stop staring, you old lecher!" Su Xiyang punched him on the arm and glared furiously. "Am I not pretty enough for you? Not big enough? Not enough to satisfy you? Is that why your soul was about to be stolen away by Huanhuan?"
Su Xiyang was fuming. She gritted her teeth at Shen Fanyun, growing angrier the more she thought about it. As she lost control of her temper, she felt an overwhelming urge to put her fine set of teeth to good use.
Casting her image aside and ignoring the occasional passersby, Su Xiyang leaned in and bit Shen Fanyun squarely on the arm.
"Damn, are you a dog?" Shen Fanyun yelped, caught completely off guard as he pushed her small head away.
Su Xiyang grumbled, "It’s your own fault for making me angry."
"Make me angry again and I’ll bite you somewhere else next time. And I’ll bite it right off! Hmph!"
When the hell did I make you angry?
Shen Fanyun wanted to cry but had no tears. However, seeing the look on Su Xiyang’s face, he could tell she genuinely felt like she had been cast aside. Not having the heart to argue, he simply pulled her into a tight hug.
"Come on, I’ll go for that walk with you," Shen Fanyun offered.
"About time. At least you have a conscience," Su Xiyang said.
"You’ve got quite the temper right now. All that pent-up fire... Later tonight, I’ll help you release it," Shen Fanyun whispered, his warm breath tickling her ear.
She knew perfectly well how Shen Fanyun planned to help her "release it." That old lecher, his mind is in the gutter again. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"I just asked you to go for a walk with me. Nothing else is on the table."
Su Xiyang wasn’t about to be fooled. They both knew perfectly well whether he wanted to help her release her fire... or his own.
