Entering the dungeon was a peculiar experience, Violet felt like she was moving at impossible speeds whilst also remaining perfectly still. Time paradoxically slowed to a crawl yet in but a moment she had passed through the enterance and was now standing within the dungeon.

Or at least she thought she was, for what she found was not what she expected at all. Where she had expected to enter into cave, much like she had just been standing in. Instead she appeared to be standing atop a cliff under the open sky.

Behind her she heard the crashing of waves against the rocky cliff side. The water was a sickly green that made her instincts flair up in warning, letting her know that she should under no circumstances enter into it.

Around her stood the rest of her friends and new teammate. They all gawked at the scenery around them as Violet currently was.

Before them lay a open grassland, rolling hills obfuscated the valleys, very little else seemed to be present here except for a singular point off into the distance. A structure of some kind rose up into the sky, a towering black monolith, only its upper half visable due to the hills inbetween it and them.

"Wha- where are we? Is this the dungeon?" Luna wondered aloud, the awe in her voice clear for all to hear.

"I I think so." Muttered Violet, stil looking around in wonder, she looked up towards the sky and noticed something odd. Whilst the sun was most definitely 'normal' looking, big, yellow and bright. Their was a second celestial object moving swiftly through the sky.

It was a green moon of some kinds, its orbit would be bringing it right in the path of the sun. Violet wondered about it's purpose but didn't have to wait for long until the system made its appearance.

[Welcome to Floor 1 of the Myriad Skies Dungeon.

Seek out the 3 keys on the island to unlock the way down to the second floor.

Have haste in your search and beware the moon.]

"Hu so this place is called the Myriad Skies dungeon, wonder what it means by beware the moon?" Wondered Violet.

Luna looked up at the sky, carefully gazing at the celestial body above. "Hmm well it looks like it will cross paths with the sun in a few hours at its current rate, I think we will find out what it means when that happens."

"Hmm, yeah that seals reasonable." Rhyana agreed. "We should search out for these three keys then, I'm getting a bad feeling from that moon and don't really want to find out what will happen if it blocks the sun."

"Aww but what if it's fun?" Whined Violet, only half joking as she too did have a mildly bad feeling when she looked at that moon too. "I'll fly up and see if I can spot anything." She then said before flapping her wings powerfully and shooting up into the sky.

She traveled up around 10 meters before she suddenly could not travel any further, she pushed more power into her wings yet could gain no more altitude. She frowned at that in confusion yet quickly shrugged it off, assuming it to be dungeon weirdness.

Still Violet did look around, carefully taking in the landscape around her. She noted that they appeared to be on an island of sorts as she could see the green ocean off into the far distance and to either side. She also thought she spotted some movement off to their left.

She soon returned to the ground and filled the girls in on her discovery.

"Alright then, I say we head in the direction you saw movement and see if we can figure anything else out." Stated Luna, getting nods of agreement all around.

So they began to head in that direction, making good time yet staying alert for any dangers that may pop up. As they walked Violet made her way to Olivia's side and asked her.

"Hey Olivia, do you have any idea why I couldn't fly very high here? I'm assuming weird magic rules for the dungeon but that's all iv got."

Olivia jumped in surprise at Violet's words, clearly not expecting to be spoken to, she even let out an adorable little yelp that caused Violet to grin in amusement. 'I'm going to enjoy teasing this girl!' Though the dragon, already planning how to get more reactions like that out of her.

"Umm, d-dungeons will restrict you from leaving its designated domain. S-so you will be forced to stay in the area that they want you to be in." She rushed through her words, only stumbling over a couple of words.

"Hmm, that makes some sense I suppose, this is kind of like a storage item but for living beings. They only have so much space and no point wasting it on the sky or unnecessary landscape." Violet mused, happy to have some confirmation to her initial theory.

With her curiosity satiated for now she moved back to the back of the group. Luna was in from, acting as the scout, then Olivia was right besides her, then Susan and Violet with Rhyana at the back.

They soon arrived at the top of a nearby hill and looked down into a lush valley below. Tall grasses obfuscated the ground, easily reaching 2 meters in height. Looking at the expansive grass filled valley from above Violet's keen eye spotted some unnatural shifting of the grass.

"Hmm looks like something is moving about in the grass down there. I think we may find our first key down there. Going to be a lot of ambushes though."

"Urgh, it's going to be annoying isn't it." Susan muttered, clearly not happy to have to wade through thick vegetation just to run into ambush predators.

"Umm, I could maybe help, I think, maybe." Olivia squeaked out. Noticing everyone look over at her she let out a small squeal before gathering herself and explaining further.

"I umm I have nature magic, I-i can flatten the grasses around us as we go. I think."

"Ohh that would be really helpful!" Agreed Violet, nodding happily at the human.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's get going, Olivia at the front Susan in the middle everyone else surround her." Luna stated. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Quickly they all organised themselves, Luna took the back this time, Rhyana on the left and Violet on the right with Susan in the middle so she could easily heal anyone that may get injured.

As they descended the hill and approached the tall grasses, the girls watched in interest as the grasses began to bow down till they lay flat against the floor. The effect spread out around 3 meters from Olivia, so whilst not an incredible distance it would undoubtedly be helpful in preventing a complete ambush.

The girls tightened their formation. Luna summoned her sword and shield whilst Violet and Rhyana coated their bodies with their magics. Olivia hefted her tower shield in one hand and short sword in the other whilst Susan drew her wand.

Together they ventured into the tall grasses. They moved slowly and quietly through the landscape. Visibility reduced to basically nothing past the area of flattened grass.

Even with their presence subtlety extended out Violet could not detect any forms of life, yet she knew that something was out there, slowly stalking them and waiting for its chance to strike.

They did not have to wait all too long for that to happen either. Their only warning was the slightest of rustling coming from the front, before a green furred tiger leapt out of the grasses heading straight for Olivia.
