"Well... shit."

Those two words really did sum up how the rest of us felt; we were just... surprised that this had happened, happy it was over, and also experiencing an incredible delay as we stared at the large monster for a few moments, processing that it had just died.

And also processing that it had to be worth a hell of a lot of money, something that crept up on us slowly but surely as we all stood around, coming down from the adrenaline high that had hit us like a brick.

"This... was a Drake. Of some kind. Probably a Fledgling, definitely a Lesser one too, but... still a Drake. And if it's a Drake..."

"That means this thing is worth a metric fuck ton of gold. Like... dozens upon dozens for just its fucking teeth and claws. Then another couple dozen for its bones, and another couple dozen for its scales..."

Hilda and Heidi spoke one after another, their excitement slowly growing as they stared at the monster for a few seconds more, only for it to be tempered as Ulya coughed and asked "But... aren't Fledgling's worth far less than normal Drakes? Their bones are weaker, their scales more fragile..."

She trailed off quickly enough since the two blondes were now looking at her, but Hilda just let out a sigh and said "Yeah... Heidi, it isn't going to be a metric fuck ton of gold. Just... a fuck load of gold, probably."

"Definitely... Still, we keep the meat and eat it tonight, yeah? Haven't had Drake in so long... and it should be juicier and far more tender too! Bet this tastes like sex on the tongue~!"

The two sisters began to bicker as they pulled out their knives, settling into a familiar rhythm as they began to dismember the monster, and after another moment or two the other three joined in as well, leaving me to keep watch.

They were quick and efficient, and soon enough we had turned the monster into a pool of blood and a couple giant bags that were definitely not being used after this, which were added on to our previous haul, meaning...

"How are we going to carry all of this?"

Not only were we hauling a lot of stuff, but we were also hauling rocks and ores as well as bones, meaning everything we wanted to keep for now and eventually sell was really heavy, so it would be hard to carry it out of the mines without some help.

Staring at the mountain of bags for a few seconds, Ulya eventually stepped forwards and said "Magic.", like that was supposed to just make everything click for the rest of us, though she did elaborate further by crouching down and pressing her hands against the stone ground.

A second later the stone rose up and formed out a long, slender, and still heavy slab, with enough height on the edges to keep the bags from rolling around; she created a very shallow box for us to carry up to the surface, with long rod handles to make it easier to carry.

"Oh, that's smart. I think... Izzy, you and I can carry this with as many of the lighter bags as possible, and everyone else carries whatever remains. And Ulya~!"

Heidi approached the milf with a grin before pulling her into a hug and kissing her deeply, sucking on the older futanari's tongue and showing her some appreciation for this idea, which Ulya liked quite a bit.

Everyone was happy and having fun, and the warm, wooden hall we found ourselves in just felt more and more like home as I walked with the others to the central table, taking a seat and instantly finding myself barraged with questions and flirtations as everyone approached us.
