Adventurer's Guild Café: I Was Wrongfully Exiled by the Saint, So I Will Enjoy My Second Life with My Fluffy Friends-Chapter 1V2. .4 - The White Wolf Tribe Appears!?
“Kuu-chan, I want to add more menu items.”
Ruri said this while placing a hand on her cheek.
Today is the café’s regular day off. But even on our days off, we sometimes come in to discuss future menu items or handle ingredient procurement.
Ruri seems eager to add a new drink menu and has been murmuring for a while, wondering if there are any good ideas.
“Kuna, the longer it takes for you to make a drink, the stronger its recovery effect seems to be.”
Dan, who was sitting in a chair, said this while looking at me.
“I-Is that so?”
I had never noticed it myself. Dan has taste-tested my drinks many times when I practice making them, so maybe that’s how he figured it out.
“Yeah, I just thought so earlier. Kuna, isn’t your power gradually getting stronger?”
Dan tilted his head as he said this.
“Maybe it’s because the longer the process takes, the more time your ability interacts with it... Also, freshly made drinks have the strongest effect. As time passes, the potency seems to diminish bit by bit.”
I lowered my gaze to my hands.
“Has my ability gotten a little stronger...?”
I looked at my hands and wagged my tail energetically. Many customers don’t really notice my power. Kiril-san and Rouge-san once mentioned they could sense it somewhat.
A lot of people assume they’re just recovering because they’re drinking something sweet when they’re tired.
By the way, my role is to serve customers and make simple drinks, so Ruri is trying to come up with an easy-to-make yet delicious menu item for me.
“What would happen if we offered takeout?”

I asked Dan, and he tilted his head, murmuring, “Hmm...”
“Maybe it’s fine as long as it’s warm, but who knows. As expected, the effect weakens over time, so if someone wants to drink it for the effect, it’s best to have it at the shop.”
Hmm, I see. So for now, making something like a potion is still out of reach. Well, not that I was planning to make one anyway...
Ah, a potion is a type of all-purpose medicine that heals injuries and illnesses or restores stamina. Obviously, there aren’t many people who can make them, so potions themselves are quite expensive. Simon told me that if I were to develop healing abilities as part of my healing or enchantment magic, it could affect the pricing of our shop’s goods, so I should be careful.
From now on, I need to be more mindful of observing my abilities.
“Ruu.”
“Pigyuu.”
As I was lost in thought, I noticed the fluffy creatures playing around on the table. Previously, even with four of them on it, there was still plenty of space, but now that Lulu has evolved and the Mokomotts have grown bigger, it looks a bit cramped.
“It might be best to stop feeding them for a while.”
“Y-Yeah, I guess so...”
Dan seemed to be concerned about the Mokomotts’ size as well. Lately, he’s been careful to only give them healthy food. A secret diet plan for the Mokomotts was about to begin without them knowing. It wasn’t about their appearance—we were just worried about their health. If they got too fat and became sick, that would be a problem. They already eat too many sweets, which is concerning.
After that, we continued discussing the shop’s menu.
Since it’s summer, we want to add more cold and delicious drinks.
The honey collected from flowers deep in the dungeon has a refreshing and tasty flavor.
But since it’s so rare, it’s a shame we can’t get much... and so on.
As we were talking about these things, I suddenly felt the presence of someone behind me.
“Hey.”
A woman’s voice.
Since we were making such a commotion, she might have thought the shop was open and mistakenly walked in as a customer.
“Ah, sorry. We’re closed today—”
As I turned around to say that, my voice caught in shock.
“Are you the White Wolf Tribe’s Kuna?”
“Huh?”
Standing before me was a girl about my age.
Silvery-white hair, pure white skin. Her eyes were a beautiful honey color.
She wore a vibrant yellow dress with practical-looking sandals, giving off an energetic impression.
But that wasn’t the most striking thing about her.
“Where did you come from? I know all the White Wolf Tribe members in Grantania, but I don’t know you.”
She snorted and said this with confidence.
And to my surprise—
She had large wolf ears on her head and a fluffy tail at her rear!
“Say something already.”
The girl gave me a suspicious look as I stood there frozen.
“Eh—EEEEH!?”
I couldn’t help but shout.
