Addicted After Marriage: Marrying My Abstinent Boss-Chapter 203: Fondness for Married Women
Sophia hadn’t left yet when Faye Ellison came out.
Ansel’s milk tea had arrived.
He divided the milk tea and placed a hot taro bubble milk on the bedside table next to Sophia Lowell’s bed.
Then he handed a cup of pure green tea to Faye Ellison. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Everyone has a share!"
He chuckled, someone who didn’t know might think he was being generous.
Faye Ellison didn’t take the milk tea, and at the same time, the dinner he ordered arrived.
Chester Vance cleared the table, making space for them to sit together and eat.
"Have a bit of food first. Lunch was greasy, so I ordered something light for dinner. See if you like it. If not, I can have some more sent over," Faye Ellison said, noticing Sophia Lowell’s not too good complexion.
Her eyes were a bit swollen, clearly having cried, the fatigue on her face suddenly became apparent.
The weakness was evident as she walked over, she felt like a branch swaying in the wind, ready to be broken by the storm anytime.
Chester Vance tidied up and left, standing at the door waiting.
His boss, last time wanted to strike up a conversation, accidentally hit her car, thought it was a perfect encounter, not knowing she was already married.
Now she’s pregnant with another man’s child, and he’s running around like an old father for her.
Is this how deeply one can like someone?
But this woman indeed has the charm to attract a man’s affection.
She’s really quite beautiful.
Sophia Lowell looked at the table full of dishes, she didn’t act coy and sat down, starting to eat on her own.
Hugh Irving, noticing she didn’t intend to chase anyone away, wondered if she was so upset she didn’t care anymore, or she was just really hungry.
She ate a bit faster than usual.
Almost as if trying to swallow all grievances with the food.
Faye Ellison sat down too, the three of them eating dinner together.
This meal was particularly quiet, the sound of food being chewed was faintly audible.
The air was filled with three different moods.
Sophia was indifferent, she had been pondering seriously in the bathroom for a long time.
Even now she hadn’t figured out what to do next, or how to handle it.
If Zane Sterling appeared before her and said this incident was a coincidence, a misunderstanding, a falsehood, what would she do?
Would she believe it?
The surveillance photos and videos clearly recorded Zane Sterling swiping his card and entering Tim Sawyer’s room.
More than half an hour later, Tim Sawyer rushed out of the room, looking anxious.
Anyone watching would have long assumed unspeakable things had already happened.
Moreover, this incident occurred two days ago.
If Zane Sterling truly felt wrongly accused, why didn’t he call or even send a message?
He waited only until now, when the matter has been made public, no longer able to hide it.
If no one had exposed it, was he planning to just let it pass?
The more Sophia thought, the more upset she felt.
The food was stuffed into her mouth fully, and the grievances filled her heart completely.
Hugh Irving reached out to touch her head, wiping away the tears from her eyes.
Sophia Lowell put down the bowl and chopsticks, suddenly burst into tears in Hugh Irving’s arms.
Hugh Irving awkwardly held her, gently patting her back.
Not even able to offer comforting words.
Faye Ellison sat on the side, watching the woman cry her heart out, he lacked the mood, stopped his actions, slowly stood up and walked out, leaving the two women.
"Did you get in touch with her?" Faye Ellison asked Chester Vance in a low voice.
Chester Vance shook his head, "She’s acting on her own, it’s better not to contact her. If they see her, it might implicate you."
Faye Ellison’s plan with Tim Sawyer didn’t include this.
He only wanted Tim Sawyer to stall Zane Sterling, to keep Zane Sterling abroad for a while, nothing more.
He hoped Sophia would look at him more, wanting to tell her, that even if she’s with Zane Sterling, unhappy or constrained, Faye Ellison would be her retreat.
Faye Ellison didn’t know Sophia’s reluctance to disclose her identity wasn’t due to a lack of love for Zane Sterling, but rather due to her own ambition in her rising career.
She knew behaving this way was unjust to Zane Sterling, but Zane Sterling agreed nonetheless, and it brought a lot of trouble.
Though Zane Sterling was angry, he didn’t resent her in the least.
And Tim Sawyer couldn’t get close to Zane Sterling, thinking it too risky to approach directly, fearing Zane Sterling would mercilessly push her away, or try to sabotage her, just like Beau Morgan, so she took an extreme approach.
Tim Sawyer didn’t discuss this with Faye Ellison, leading to the current uncontrollable situation.
She was gambling.
If she was the one to sleep with Zane Sterling, would he perhaps, for a moment, look back at her?
In fact, he didn’t.
Zane Sterling not only didn’t look back, but his attitude grew even worse, disdainful, even now holding her captive in the presidential suite.
What’s more despicable, fearing Tim Sawyer might harm herself or do something extreme, even when she goes to the bathroom, there are bodyguards waiting at the open door.
For the first time in her life, she felt utterly humiliated.
An utter disgrace!
"If she’s unkind, then we’ll be unrighteous, clean up the loose ends, don’t let her have a chance," Faye Ellison said, frowning deeply.
However, Tim Sawyer’s move was quite unexpected for him, not anticipating such vicious tactics from her.
If this makes Sophia leave Zane Sterling, then he owes her gratitude.
He curled his lips in a smile.
Zane Sterling was going offline.
Chester Vance looked at the smile on Faye Ellison’s lips, tightening his brow.
The boss is a romantic, actually falling for a married and pregnant woman, liking the wife of another?
"Also, arrange a few bodyguards, Zane Sterling should be ready to come back. If Sophia doesn’t want to see him, don’t let him near. If he dares to approach and makes Sophia shed a tear, break his leg."
"..."
Mr. Ellison, she’s someone’s wife, they’re not divorced yet. If you protect her after they’re divorced, it’s fine.
If this gets out, how would you marry later?
Your reputation would be ruined.
"Did you hear me?" Faye Ellison grew a bit angry seeing him spacing out.
"Got it." Chester Vance nodded, obediently complying.
Unaware of how long Sophia cried, her eyes were even more swollen, her voice hoarse, even her lips slightly puffed.
Hugh Irving’s back was already soaked, feeling like all the water Sophia drank had cried out, ready to cry out bile soon.
She had just shown a look of having let go, now some trigger had brought her emotions back up.
Hugh Irving held her tightly, feeling for her.
Who can say to let go when encountering such a situation?
Suddenly recalling Ethan Sinclair’s talk of a business trip in the middle of the night, could it be related to this matter?
They hadn’t been in touch for two days.
Damn it!
He actually kept it from her! Didn’t say a word!
For his bros, he stabbed her in the back?
Truly unexpected!
Ethan Sinclair, you’ve really grown!
