Accidenttal One Night Stand with My Aloof Uncle-Chapter 562: He Is My Ex-Boyfriend 2
The sky gradually darkened, and finally Chloe Grant headed straight into the bar.
Matthew Morgan followed closely behind.
Chloe didn’t know how he managed it; even after entering the chaotic bar, she purposely went up on stage to dance, and still, Matthew kept his eyes on her.
In the dance floor, quite a few people tried to approach and chat her up, but Matthew blocked them all out.
Chloe indeed wanted to find a guy to get close to out of spite, just to make him furious!
But there was no chance.
Ultimately, feeling uninterested, she left the dance floor and went to the bar, "Make me the strongest drink you have."
She slapped the table, startling the bartender.
The bartender teased, "Miss, going through a breakup?"
"Exactly!" Chloe answered directly, glanced at Matthew sitting next to her, and introduced, "See him? That’s my ex-boyfriend. We just broke up a few days ago, do you know why?
Because he’s getting married, and he even has a kid already."
The bartender sneaked a glance at Matthew, initially wanting to tease, but Matthew’s glare shot over and made the bartender shudder suddenly.
He felt that the gaze carried a strong murderous intent, making him not dare to mess around.
Chloe, however, didn’t care and banged the table again, "Come on, get me the strongest drink.
Isn’t there a saying, drink the strongest liquor, forget about the one you love the most! Hurry up!"
"Miss, I’m afraid you won’t be able to handle it," the bartender cautioned kindly.
"I handled my favorite person having a kid with someone else, do you think there’s anything I can’t handle?" Chloe retorted directly, "Faster, stop dawdling, it’s annoying."
Seeing Chloe insist like that, the bartender couldn’t say more and could only prepare the drink as she requested.
"Also make a glass of fruit wine," Matthew ordered coldly.
The bartender looked back at him, his gaze filled with confusion, even a little disdain.
Thinking to himself, the girl is bravely asking for strong liquor, and this guy wants fruit wine?
Of course, the bartender kept these thoughts to himself, as he was at work, so naturally, he made another fruit wine for Matthew.
Finally, he placed the strong drink and fruit wine respectively in front of the two.
But...
Before Chloe could reach for her strong drink, it was already taken by Matthew, who downed it in one go, then placed the empty glass back down.
He pushed the fruit wine in front of Chloe.
"If you want to drink, have a little fruit wine," he suggested.
After gulping down the strong drink, his face showed no change.
The bartender inside the bar was surprised instead.
This drink was his specialty, one glass should do the trick, yet this man had no reaction... it was quite amazing.
"Who said you could drink my drink?" Chloe directly confronted him, "What gives you the right to touch my drink? Do you think you still mean anything to me? I’m telling you, you’re just my ex-boyfriend! Ex-boyfriend! You understand? You are the ex-boyfriend!
Moreover, it was you who gave up on me, who gave up on our relationship!
From the beginning, you never liked me much, your feelings for me were just that insignificant, so what right do you have to still interfere with me?
Trying to make me miss you? I’m telling you, it’s not possible! I’ve given up on you! Given up!
Didn’t you see, my date today? This is just the start of something new!"
Chloe roared out all her bottled-up frustration.
In this music-blasting bar, her angry shouts didn’t attract much attention.
Who comes to a bar not to entertain themselves, not to drown their sorrows?
