Chapter 812: Chapter 753: The Method Is to Have a Child?

Lyle and the leisurely Twilight Dragon Mother watched the confrontational parent-child activity from the side. Compared to Lyle’s unease, Silvette was relaxed about her daughter Imelt’s ordeal, chatting with Lyle with interest while resting on a boulder.

The reality was not far from Lyle’s speculation—the image of the Dwarven aunty of Red Dragon Imelt was revealed.

The late Mr. Giant Dragon had been fervent in his portrayal of Giant Dragons, even when they were but illusory images. Now, reborn as a Giant Dragon, the dragons he adored had become his offspring, and two profound loves merged into one. After his children entered youth and left the nest, Mr. Giant Dragon felt increasingly desolate, and even as his wife, the Dragon Mother could not entirely fill the void in his heart. Encouraged by Silvette, Yemotar, the Father of All Dragons, began to collect spiritual sculptures—faith-based figurines given to his children by the Dragon Kin—under the pretense of inspecting their work in spreading faith, which was also an excuse to examine Lyle’s work results.

According to Mr. Giant Dragon’s personal preferences, he gathered over twenty sculptures for each offspring. Whether in the form of giant dragons, anthropomorphic, or other spiritual concepts, Mr. Giant Dragon would joyfully take anything related to his children to his Dragon’s Nest and place them atop his pile of gold and silver jewelry.

At first, there were no issues, and Mr. Giant Dragon had no complaints about the Dwarf-like sculptures of his Red Dragon daughter. He fully understood the Dwarves’ emotional needs to create a guardian image akin to their protectress, which would facilitate Imelt’s faith spread more effectively. The Black Dragon also had his giant stone statues, the Green Dragon Emerald was adorned with Elf Race decorations, the tail on the White Dragon Shell Painting resembled that of a fish, and the statue of the Blue Dragon Christo closely resembled his Dragon Priest scholar. Sometimes, Mr. Giant Dragon would jest with his scholar friend, stating his son’s statue looked more like the scholar’s son.

However, only the Red Dragon’s statutes had a consistently fixed image. Even though the Dwarves all knew Imelt was a Red Dragon and affectionately called her the Red Dragon Queen, the beautiful red jade sculptures only ever depicted a red-haired Dwarven aunty wielding a hammer.

As a lich, Mr. Giant Dragon was quite fond of all sorts of bizarre primal beasts but had a preference for reptilian and mammalian standard forms; as a Giant Dragon, he also favored the elongated body types of human and Elf Race groups. Regardless of the form, Mr. Giant Dragon’s tastes were quite conservative.

When the two-hundredth red-haired Dwarven aunty sculpture was placed in his Dragon’s Nest, the Father of All Dragons could not hold back anymore. He opened a portal, rushed over to the Dwarven workshop he often disguised himself to frequent, grabbed the bearded jeweler by the collar, and shouted, "Can’t you make my daughter look more beautiful?! What has my Little Mel done to offend you?!"

Unexpectedly, the Dwarf craftsman also burst forth with rage matching that of a father, giving the dumbstruck Father of All Dragons a hammer blow, with the force of a father-daughter Red Dragon, landing on his face, leaving Mr. Giant Dragon with mixed feelings.

"Are you insulting my work?! Insulting the Red Dragon goddess I cherish!! Ugly? I sculpted it realistically after contemplating the Queen’s majesty!! Get out!! Fool who defiles the likeness of the Red Dragon!!"

What?

Realizing the Dwarf was not lying, the Giant Dragon did not resist. More than chastising the presumptuous Dwarf, Mr. Giant Dragon cared about the truth in his words.

"My Little Mel, isn’t she a cute and beautiful elven girl?"

Harbouring pride in his daughter Imelt’s exquisite features, the fond father visited the Red Dragon’s workshop. Upon witnessing the hearty laughter of the stocky, red-haired Dwarven woman, the Father of All Dragons felt his parental intuition collapse.

It was akin to the demeaning posture a daughter adopts in an attempt to win favor from a suitor, which made the old father outrageously angry. Upon learning that the entire Dwarf Race harbored improper thoughts about Imelt because of the Red Dragon idol project, the furious Dragon Father was ready to eradicate these stumpy beings.

Mr. Giant Dragon was dragged back to the Dragon’s Nest by Imelt, and at this moment, the ever-obedient Red Dragon daughter launched a magnificent rebellion against her father.

"Congratulations, congratulations!" Dragon Mother Silvette, not one to shy away from drama, applauded from the side, "Yemotar, as a father, has been too biased towards the eldest son. Finally, Little Mel has been schooled in fatherly love; yes, she’s taken a major step in her growth."

Lyle had nothing to say about the Dragon Mother’s Spartan upbringing, but he worried that the still-irritated Dragon Father might let his fury spill over to innocent bystanders, as after all, the Red Dragon idol project was largely facilitated by him, the Dragon King Priest.

"In the name of your father Yemotar, the Father of All Dragons, Imelt! You are grounded! Dare you approach a Dwarf again, that moment will be their doom!" Mr. Giant Dragon opened a portal, threw Imelt in, slammed the door shut, turned with an explosive snort, and slowly strode away in a huff towards Lyle’s direction.

"Lyle!!!"

The roaring of the Father of Dragons made Lyle’s legs go weak, and if it weren’t for Nia’s support, the nearly kneeling Dragon Priest felt he would have succumbed.

"I was wrong!!!" Lyle sensibly admitted his defeat. The residual awe of his tutor did not dissipate after his rebirth as a Giant Dragon. Rather, Lyle feared even more that his now Giant Dragon-bodied teacher would suddenly give him a retest on the advanced curriculum of White Bone Spirit Summoning Studies.

A chill overtook his head as the sigh released by the Father of Dragons brought a gale right above Lyle.

"Where have you gone wrong, my beloved disciple, my priest?" The Dragon tutor always showed great understanding in front of Lyle, "You have excellently fulfilled the responsibility I entrusted to you, taking care of my child better than I had anticipated. The fault lies with those Dwarves! Really, those dead Dwarves thinking of eating Giant Dragon flesh."

Feeling the ire rise within him, the Father of All Dragons apologetically glanced at the Dragon Mother, and much relieved when he noticed that his wife did not object to the strictness towards their child.

He lowered his head again, looking at his rather unusual student.

"Have you come to me for some important matter, my beloved disciple?"

"Giant Dragon tutor, I wish to inquire how to strengthen my own clan?"

The Father of Dragons showed a human-like smile, his earlier annoyance swept away, and he was pleased with Lyle’s ambition.

"Oh, so you’ve finally thought of strengthening your own clan? Such a clear goal; it seems you’ve consulted scholars before. Then I won’t repeat that superfluous knowledge."

"Lyle, then I’ll just directly tell you the answer, our Spirit Summoning Fraction’s method is actually very simple."

"Quality and quantity, these are the keys to strengthening a clan."

Lyle furrowed his brows, not because it was difficult to understand the Giant Dragon’s words, but because it was too easy to understand, that it seemed absurd.

"The Spirit Summoning Fraction, if I haven’t misunderstood..." 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

"To elevate the quality of the clan is to carry out high-level transformations on the clan, like taboo modifications."

"As for quantity, it’s expanding the population. Teacher... you wouldn’t want me to..."

The Giant Dragon tutor straightforwardly nodded.

"Go forth and procreate, create! As a Spirit Summoner who cannot create a population on their own, what kind of Spirit Summoner would that be!"

Indeed, coming from the Father of Dragons who single-handedly gave birth to the entire Dragon Clan, his words carried conviction.
