Chapter 413: 413 Joint Kill

[Donald’s perspective]

I didn’t give it a chance to recover. I got up and pounced towards it, my claws about to pierce its already shattered throat.

The Monster Wolf seemed to realize the urgency of the moment and tried to flee with wide steps!

"Elliot!" I roared, pinning the Monster Wolf down with my body, my claws pressed against its neck.

Elliot silently rushed up, followed closely by Christian. Two dark barrels were almost simultaneously thrust into the Monster Wolf’s wide-open mouth, and a full magazine of bullets was poured directly into its throat!

Perhaps because the situation was so urgent and dangerous, Elliot roared as he twisted the gun barrel inside the Monster Wolf’s mouth. The bullets couldn’t penetrate the Monster Wolf’s outer fur, but its relatively soft throat and mouth couldn’t withstand such an attack!

I quickly jumped off the Monster Wolf, glanced at Elliot and Christian, their eyes blood-red, and breathed a heavy sigh of relief while the sound of helicopters bombing the rogue army re-entered my ears.

Only then did I realize how tense I had been. This Monster Wolf was really tough to handle!

But no matter how fierce and strong the monster was, it was now taken down by me and my Lycans. The Monster Wolf’s massive head was shot into a sieve from the inside out, its throat emitting wisps of blue smoke from the jammed bullet casings, with more bullets continuously fired inside, causing the blue smoke from the friction between the casings.

Christian let out a heavy breath and stepped forward to confirm the Monster Wolf was dead. "It’s dead! Stop it," he said.

His words, of course, were directed toward Elliot.

Hearing his teammate’s reminder, Elliot slowly stopped his finger movement, took a moment to look up at Christian, "Damn! If it’s not dead after this, I really don’t have any other way. This monster should be the only one, right? Please, no more, I can’t take it anymore!"

Christian, hearing this, chuckled and looked down at the Monster Wolf on the ground just as tiredly. "If a few more of these came, it would really be terrifying! This must be Henry’s most unexpected trump card. The one who wrested the Lycan Queen from Eric must have been this creature!"

While Elliot and Christian were talking, I had already shifted back to human form, silently staring at the scratch on my arm.

This was, of course, caused by the Monster Wolf’s claws when I was forcibly confronting it head-on, injuring me. I endured the intense pain and slowly leaned against a nearby tree trunk, my eyes ceaselessly scanning the battlefield behind.

Benjamin crouched next to me with a backpack, efficiently tearing open my shredded sleeve, pulled out some antiseptic serum for injection, and then tried to administer some anesthesia to facilitate immediate wound cleaning and stitching.

I knew what he was thinking and immediately interrupted him, saying, "Anesthesia might affect my ability to fight later, don’t use it now. Just stitch up the wound carelessly, make it quick!"

After speaking, I grimaced at Elliot and Christian nearby and continued, "Check our remaining ammunition. Henry has played his trump card, and now we need to push forward tenaciously." Margaret was still waiting for me to rescue her!

The last sentence I didn’t say out loud, I just prayed silently to the Moon Goddess to protect my mate, to let her suffer less torment and hardship at Henry’s hands.

Elliot and Christian, following my order, began to check the ammunition in the Lycans’ hands.

Benjamin took only minutes to clean and stitch my wound. I looked at the white bandage wrapped around my arm, slowly stood up, and frowned toward Charlie not far away, who was deeply troubled.

I walked over to him, surveyed the battlefield and flatly said, "It’s unlikely that we’ll be able to completely clear out this group of rogues with helicopters alone. You’ve done well up to now. I will lead the remaining Lycans directly into the fray, and you are responsible for blocking them outside the cave. Understand?"

Charlie looked at me upon hearing this, thought for a moment, and replied, "Your Majesty, isn’t this a bit too risky? We have no idea what’s inside the cave, and if you rush in like this, being ambushed by the enemy would be too passive! I suggest we clear out these rogues first, then have the Lycans on the helicopter with heavy machine guns clear the way. That would be safer and more reliable!"

I knew Charlie’s suggestion was more reasonable, but I couldn’t wait that long! Who knows if Henry might have already escaped through the underwater passage with Margaret while we are stuck outside the cave dealing with these monsters.

I couldn’t bear the lack of news about Margaret any longer. Today I had to snatch Margaret back from Henry’s hands!

"Just follow the military order, I don’t have time to delay any longer outside," I said, glancing at Charlie. I gestured to Elliot and Christian on either side, and to Benjamin, who had been silently working, signaling them to advance towards the cave!
