With a loud bang, the werewolf that Wolf had knocked away smashed through the right side of the infirmary door, and quickly, dozens of dark gun muzzles peeked out. Levi repressed the emotions leaking out of his face, looked up at me, and was silent, pondering something.

The atmosphere in the corridor tensed up for a moment, and I, leading a dozen Lycans behind me, stood our ground, confronting Levi’s faction head-on.

I wasn’t sure what Levi was thinking at that moment, but we needed to buy more time for Christian and Elliot, and whether we could successfully rescue Margaret would depend on today’s attempt!

Two minutes later, the sound of cannon fire exploded outside the hospital, gunfire dense like falling rain, and the normal werewolves opposite me started to grow restless; most of them were Levi’s underlings, werewolves of the Spirit Dragon pack.

Simo mentioned that Poison Snake Island had been roughly divided into three factions; not to digress on the complex connection between Martha and Henry, Levi was unlikely to be truly aligned with them.
