A Sorcerer’s Journey-Chapter 593 - Assembly of First Inherited Vein
Chapter 593: Assembly of First Inherited Vein
Squeak!
Master Peranos opened the door of his room at Level 79 of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower.
“Master, Mistress, Garnigel, Apprentice-Brother Varro… Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring.”
Grimm greeted those that were waiting for him in the room, including Master Peranos, Alice, Garnigel and Varro, then, he focused his attention on the seductive shadow from the body that was wrapped around by white bandage-cloths.
The female body shape that looked wild and fit was all covered with white cloth that went about in rounds all over her body, only a pair of piercing eyes were exposed between the cloth, while a shiny black sword was on her back. Despite being still with no movements, the surroundings were overflowing with the intimidating breath from the body, as if there would be a highly destructive attack being casted out within the next second.
Perhaps it was due to Demon-Hunters’ sensitivity toward killings, the moment when Grimm looked at Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring, he had goosebumps rising all over his body as his footsteps faltered in his attempt to enter the room, as if he was about to enter into the surroundings that were filled with corpses while facing against an undefeatable creature from the top of the food chain.
He was short of breath and was about to suffocate!
It was so horrifying, what exactly had the elder sister been through?
The breath of slaughter from her body was about to overflow from the experiment lab of the Sorcerer Tower!
Being Arcane Sorcerers themselves, Master Peranos, Alice, and Brother Varro had not noticed it, however, Grimm felt as if he was a predator at the bottom of the food chain that had suddenly met an ultimate creature that would prey on any other predators.
For him to face the elder apprentice-sister would be similar to small creatures encountering him, there would be no chance of resistance and they would be slaughtered mercilessly.
That was why…
Both Master Peranos and Grandmaster Netherheart were proud of Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring, and they had been living under her shadows.
She was definitely capable of having such qualifications!
Whereas Grimm still had a long way to go.
“Hahaha, not bad, not bad, as expected, you have advanced to a Level-2 Sorcerer!”
Master Peranos was excited for Grimm as he noticed that he had advanced as a Level-2 Sorcerer, while there were still signs of exhaustion deep in his eyes, he wrapped his hand around Grimm’s shoulder and welcomed him into the room.
The moment Master Peranos placed his hand on Grimm’s shoulder, his stiff body finally made the move to enter the room, as if he was a drowned person that was dragged onto the shore, for him, he was entering into a territory that was filled with the presence of the horrifying creature.
“Have a seat here, Grimm, I have prepared your favourite mustard sauce.”
Mistress Alice had a soft and virtuous personality, she stood up and told Grimm to sit opposite her, which was also beside Varro.
“Oh, Grimm, Little Myna, help yourselves, the greatest moment for the Shave Fish that I have been feeding for tens of years has now come, meow, I am so excited and I can wait no longer, as if I can hear the rhythm of it entering into my stomach!”
Garnigel was sitting beside the meal plate and held onto cutleries on both hands while his tongue licked around his lips as he swallowed his saliva.
“Hahaha, Grimm, Elder Apprentice-Sister found a greater world that was at war with the Metal Destroyer Civilization after hundreds of years travelling across voids to look for information related to the Civilization. She represented the military aid of the Sorcerers World in joining the war and incorporated the greater world into the Sorcerer Coalition, and for that, she has obtained the Rank-Superior Honor Badge to advance as a Stigmata!”
Varro was very excited as he looked at Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring that was beside him, he seemed to be very hopeful and proud of her.
Being able to participate in the war between the greater world and the Metal Destroyer Civilization, and advance as a Stigmata with the Rank-Superior Honor Badge of the Sorcerers World, Elder Apprentice-Sister would become the Sorcerers World’s World Lord and also the mythical and most powerful Stigmata Sorcerer without building a Sorcerer Tower!?
Grimm swallowed his saliva as he noticed that the Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring that sat before him was no longer an apprentice-sister, but was akin to Adjudication Staff Stigmata Sorcerer before completing the advancement as First Ring Celestial Sorceress.
Adjudication Staff Stigmata Sorcerer that was named as the most powerful Stigmata Sorcerer of the Sorcerers World was also a World Lord of the Sorcerers World that did not build a Sorcerer Tower.
“Hey, Master, is this the Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring that you were talking about? Oh my, she is indeed terrifying.”
Little Myna spoke softly beside Grimm’s ear as he also noticed the pressure that came from the Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring, and he kept a low profile as they entered the room while constantly fixing his eyes on her.
Grimm carefully sat down on a chair, and his body was stiff and uncomfortable.
“Hehe, Grimm, I can still remember the last time we met was when I had just completed the last Demon-Hunting Expedition and received a special mission from the Demon-Hunter Consociation, you were still a young kid that was preparing to enter into the Holy Tower Qualification Battle, and after a thousand years, you have now become a Level-2 Sorcerer.”
Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring spoke while being covered with white cloth, with only her pair of eyes that was exposed and engrossed as she looked at Grimm.
Gulp.
Grimm swallowed his saliva at the moment when he was relieved from the pressure, it seemed that the Eldest Apprentice-Sister was testing his capabilities.
“Not bad, I have heard about some of your past experiences from Master and Varro, well done, feel free to seek for my help if you need any in the future, as I will not leave the Sorcerers World for the next thousands of years.”
Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring seemed satisfied with Grimm as she spoke to him.
“Alright, Elder Apprentice-Sister.”
Grimm’s smile under the Mask of Truth seemed rather forced, he was happy for the achievements of his apprentice-sister, and also grateful for the care and support that he had from such a powerful Stigmata Sorcerer.
However, there was a slight sense of despair in Grimm, as the apprentice-sister had been his role model throughout his journey as a Sorcerer, and he could only live under the footsteps from the incredible deeds that were left behind by his apprentice-sister, he was constantly chasing after her shadows.
One of the highest aims that Grimm had for his growth journey was to surpass his apprentice-sister.
However, Grimm felt despair in his heart for what he had witnessed today.
Eldest Apprentice-Sister Quiet Spring nodded and turned toward Varro who was beside her, she then spoke in a crude manner, “Hmph! Look at Grimm, and look at yourself, how can you call yourself an elder brother, being the younger brother would suit you better.”
“Oh Elder Sister, how can I be in comparison with him? Don’t you know that he left no mercy for others during the Holy Tower Qualification Battle and eliminated every other Sorcerer-Apprentice that were in the same batch, and that everyone was calling him a monster? How am I to be compared with a monster as I am just a normal Sorcerer.”
Varro shouted and expressed his aggrievance.
Everyone burst into laughter as they were delighted by the situation, while Grimm put down some of the worries in his heart and enjoyed the wonderful gathering with Master Peranos and all of the others.
However, not everyone was present, there was still Vivian…
No, perhaps during the growth journey of the Master, there were also other Elder Masters from the Netherheart’s First Inherited Vein that had also transformed into unknown histories.
“Alright, lets begin.”
Mistress Alice let out a smile as she held a fork in her hand.
