"My soul fragment was about to be destroyed in the earlier storm, so I had no choice but to possess Fellow Daoist Hei Pao in order to save myself. I hope you'll forgive me, Senior Bone Emperor," Gui Wu said as he cupped his fist in an apologetic salute.

"I'll let this slide if you can kill that human cultivator for me. I'm sure you've already collected a seed of his aura during the time that you spent with him," Bone Emperor said in a cold voice.

"That's not a problem at all. Seeing as he's chosen to ally himself with the Reincarnation King, he is now an enemy of our underworld, so it's only right that I take him out of the picture," Gui Wu replied with a smile, then opened his mouth to release a gray, humanoid puppet that was several inches in size and devoid of facial features.

After that, he flipped a hand over to summon a gray talisman that seemed to have had some type of sealing restriction inscribed upon it, and at its center was a ball of golden light that was giving off Han Li's aura.

Gui Wu plastered the talisman onto the puppet's face, and it immediately disintegrated into countless gray runes that surged into the puppet's body along with the ball of golden light.

Blood instantly came spurting out of the puppet's body and trickling out of its mouth, and the injuries that it had suffered were mirrored on Han's body as well.

Not only that, but a burst of excruciating agony speared through his consciousness as seven indistinct, black needle projections pierced into his soul.

He immediately threw up a mouthful of blood as his aura waned drastically, and an alarmed look appeared on Wyrm 3's face as she yelled, "What happened to you, Fellow Daoist Han?"

Han Li offered no response as he closed his eyes with an agonized expression.

At this moment, there were seven bursts of destructive force crashing through his consciousness with the intention of eradicating his soul.

He felt as if his head were on the verge of exploding, and the pain was almost too much to bear.

Thankfully, his tremendously powerful soul saved him from being killed on the spot, and his entire body was instantly enveloped in a layer of golden light.

"He survived? How?" Gui Wu murmured to himself in a stunned manner, while Xue Li looked on with a cold sneer.

"We've already wasted too much time here! Everyone, attack at once to destroy this Reincarnation Array!" Bone Emperor ordered, and a hint of urgency had crept into his voice.

An enormous mountain formed by countless skeletons appeared behind him, giving off bursts of incredibly formidable law power fluctuations.

Immediately thereafter, a giant bone claw tore its way out of the bone mountain before grabbing down upon the dark red light barrier.

Xue Li also sprang into action as a vast expanse of crimson light erupted out of his body to form an enormous crimson cloud.

With a swing of his giant ax, the crimson cloud instantly converted to a single spot, forming a gargantuan, crimson ax projection with arcs of lightning flashing over its surface, presenting a fearsome sight to behold.

As Xue Li swung his ax downward, the giant, crimson ax in the sky also came crashing down onto the light barrier.

At the same time, the dark-skinned man transformed into a ghostly giant with two heads and four arms once again, then unleashed a barrage of countless fist projections that came raining down upon the Reincarnation Array.
