A Mate For The Last Lycan-Chapter 291: THE KING AND QUEEN
Chapter 291: THE KING AND QUEEN
The moon was so bright out there against the night sky and the wind was rather cold, but even so, Zia still stuck out one of her feet out of the blanket, which made Draven smile.
Some thing had never changed and in this case, Draven was actually glad.
Carefully, he covered her feet and laid down next to her. One more thing that he liked the most was the fact that Zia always responded to him, despite the fact that she was still sleeping. She actually snuggled against him, moving closer to hug him back.
Draven kissed her forehead and her cheek.
"Good night, love," he whispered to her hair. Zia’s lips were slightly ajar, as she tangled their feet together and when Draven squeezed her body lightly, she would let out a satisfying grunt.
Recently, Zia had been complaining that she had gained weight. She was so happy when she moved to this new place with a beautiful sight of the mountain and a hill as their backyard, thus she ate a lot. Her heart and stomach were content.
However, for Draven he liked her better like this. She looked even more desirable. If it were not for Zoey, who would interrupt their ’fun times’, he would love to have her all day for himself. Well, Draven didn’t mind the interruption.
"I love you," Draven said. He kissed her again. He couldn’t get enough of her.
She was his moon, his sun and everything in between... the solace he craved the most.

"Good morning." Zia kissed Draven’s lips, though he was already awake the moment these two precious people for him walked into the bedroom.
Zia snuggled against him, but when Draven kept up with his act and still pretended to be asleep, Zoey threw herself on him and literally jumped up and down on his back, as he laid on his stomach.
"Daddy, wake up!" Zoey giggled when Draven groaned and opened his eyes. "You promised that we will go out! We will have a picnic! Momma has cooked for us! Wake up!"
Every year, she would wake up early on his birthday to cook for them, as they went out. It already become a tradition for them.
Draven caught Zoey’s body and pulled her down from his body, as she squealed, Zia couldn’t escape too, as he hugged her as well.
"Five minutes," Draven said, closing his eyes again and the complaint came, almost immediately.
"No!" Both of them echoed each other. Zia started to tickle him and Zoey would bite him in her frustration. They wouldn’t let him fall asleep again and he love it.
He would give up the world to have this chaotic morning...
"Ten minutes then..." Draven refused to open his eyes.
"No...!" Both of them complained. "Wake up Daddy! Today is your birthday!"
It took them both ten minutes to get Draven out of bed, sometimes, he could be childish, as he liked to hear them whining.
"Fine, I will take a bath first," Draven said, putting down little Zoey. "Why don’t you see whether mother has put everything we need? You know, sometimes, she can be forgetful. I trust you more."
Zoey looked proud of herself when she heard that and nodded. "Yes. I will check again!" She dashed out of the room.
Once it was only the two of them alone, Zia rolled her eyes. "Did you just manipulate your daughter?"
Hearing that, Draven gave her a mischievous smile. "Of course, I wouldn’t do such a thing." He approached Zia, his eyes filled with lust. His grey eyes...
Dezgar found a way to get back the color of his original eyes.
"So, what are you going to do now?" Zia asked, she took a step back playfully.
"What? I only want to ask for your help."
"What kind of help?"
Both of them did this weird dance, where Draven would take a step closer and Zia would take a step back to avoid him, but both of them knew, where this would end up.
"Just a little thing..."
Zia’s back hit the wall and Draven smirked, as he trapped her between his arms. "What little thing do you mean?"
"Little thing like..." Draven leaned over and kissed her neck. "Help me to take a bath...?"
"Only take a bath?"
"If you wanted to do more than that I will not object."
Zia laughed. She knew it.

Zoey was rather upset because it took Draven and Zia forever to be ready. She was huffing and puffing. The little one refused to walk, so Draven had to put her to sit down on his shoulders, and she grabbed his hair.
This appeased her a little because she liked it whenever Draven carried her on his shoulder since she could see the beautiful view more clearly.
"You spoiled her." Zia watched their daughter try to hide her smile helplessly. Zoey seemed in dilemma whether she wanted to keep upset with her father or she wanted to let it go and enjoy the view.
"Just like how I spoiled you." Draven winked at Zia and kissed her cheek.
The three of them had a perfect picnic this evening and this would always be the best day for Draven, not because it was his birthday, but because he got to spend his time with these two precious people.
"Sometimes, I feel like I am living in a dream." Zia rested her head on Draven’s thigh and stared at her daughter, who was sitting not too far away, making a wreath for her and Draven.
"Why do you think so?" Draven played with her hair.
"Because I feel very happy."
Draven stared at her deeply. "As long as you are happy, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a dream or not."
Zia chuckled. "You are right."
Not long after, Zoey ran toward them with two wreaths of flowers in her hands. She put them on Zia and Draven’s head.
"Both of you look like the queen and king!" she squealed happily.
