A Love I Shouldn't Feel-Chapter 141: Bonds of Affection ( )
Chapter 141: Bonds of Affection ( 141 )
Haruki slowly opened his eyes.
The room was dim, with the curtains drawn just enough to let a little evening light seep in.
Beside him—warm, soft , was Kyouko.
She was hugging him tightly. Her bare skin pressed gently against his, smooth, warm, and comforting. The scent of her hair still lingered on the pillow between them.
Haruki smiled.
Even while sleeping, she looked beautiful. Peaceful. Like nothing in the world could touch her right now.
He tried to shift his body gently, wanting to slip out without waking her.
But the moment he moved—her arms pulled him tighter.
"Mmm... Haruki..." she whispered, her voice still sleepy. "Don’t move yet..."
He froze, smiling again.
"Kyouko~ I just need to go to the bathroom."
"Mmm... Let me hold you a little longer... Just five minutes..."
Her voice was gentle, spoiled. Sweet. Like a woman too comfortable to let go of the man she loved. Her face was pressed against his chest, her eyes still closed, her breath warm on his skin.
Haruki chuckled softly. He gave in, slipping his arm around her waist and pulling her just a little closer.
"Okay, okay... Five minutes," he whispered.
Kyouko then kissed Haruki’s cheek, then softly on his lips.
She sat looked down at him with a gentle smile.
"Are you hungry?" she asked, her voice sweet and pure.
Haruki blinked, a little caught off guard—not by the question, but by the softness of her smile, the warmth in her eyes.
"Yeah... I... am."
"What’s wrong?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, her hair falling gently over her shoulder.
"Ah... nothing..." Haruki smiled faintly, his heart beating fast.
He slowly sat up, the sheet falling to his waist, and stood, stretching a little before heading toward the bathroom. But he paused... and looked back.
There she was—Kyouko. Standing gracefully by the bed, barefoot, wearing only her robe, without bra or underwear underneath. The way the light kissed her skin, the outline of her body beneath the soft fabric, made her look like a dream.
"...Kyouko?"
"Hmm?" she looked at him, tying her robe loosely with that familiar, shy elegance.
"Do you want to eat outside?"
She blinked once, then smiled—radiant and sweet.
"A date?" she teased lightly.
"Yeah," Haruki said, scratching the back of his neck. "A proper one."
Kyouko walked slowly toward him, cupping his cheek with one hand. Her thumb brushed his skin affectionately.
"I’d love that, Haruki."
She kissed him again, just a soft, slow press of lips.. and whispered with a smile:
"Let me get ready. You too, darling."
She turned, her hips subtly swaying beneath the robe as she headed toward the closet.
Inside Haruki’s mind: How can I ever let her go? She’s not just perfect in bed—she’s everything.
Once they both got dressed, Haruki stood by the bedroom door, waiting while Kyouko stepped out.
She wore a simple, modest dress—a light beige color with soft floral patterns, gently cinched at the waist. The fabric floated just below her knees, swaying with every step. It wasn’t tight or revealing, but still undeniably elegant. The kind of beauty that whispered rather than shouted.
Haruki’s eyes softened.
"Does this one look good?" Kyouko asked, smoothing her skirt slightly as she turned toward him.
"Yes," he said quietly. "I love it."
A warm smile appeared on her lips as she walked over, slipped her arms around his waist, and pressed her chest softly against his arm. Her touch was affectionate—close, but graceful. Feminine.
"I won’t wear anything revealing," she said softly.
Haruki leaned in and gently kissed her, his lips brushing hers with quiet affection. "Thank you..."
Kyouko’s smile deepened. "You don’t have to thank me... I belong to you now, don’t I?"
Haruki squeezed her hand, and for a brief moment, all he could think about was how lucky he was—not just because of her body, but because of how she made him feel.
Warm. Wanted. At home.
"Let’s go," he said quietly.
Kyouko nodded. "Mm... okay~."
As the car gently moved along the coastline, a breeze softly brushing against the windows, she watched Haruki’s calm, quiet smile as he drove. The way his hand rested on the steering wheel, the relaxed curve of his lips, the focus in his eyes—all of it made her heart feel light.
So he doesn’t want to share me... not even a glimpse?
That small request—not to wear something revealing—wasn’t controlling. It wasn’t demanding. It was simple. Gentle. But to her, it felt deeper than words. It meant he wanted her for himself. He treasured her—not just her body, but the way she held herself, the way she walked beside him. Every glance, every shape, every bit of skin... he didn’t want the world to see even a sliver of it.
Kyouko’s heart swelled.
This wasn’t about obedience.
It was her choice. Her decision.
Because she belonged to him now. And it made her feel... beautiful. Wanted. Special.
She turned slightly toward him, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, and whispered softly, "Thank you... Haruki."
Haruki glanced at her. "Hmm?"
Kyouko smiled, looking out the window again. "Nothing... I’m just happy."
Haruki reached over and gently took her hand, intertwining their fingers as he drove with one hand.
"Haruki... focus on driving," Kyouko said softly, giving him a playful, gentle scold.
"Oh... okay~" Haruki smiled, holding her hand for another moment before reluctantly letting go and returning both hands to the wheel.
Kyouko kept smiling quietly. Inside her chest, something warm blossomed.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Haruki parked smoothly, turned off the engine, and stepped out.
He walked around to the front and opened the door for her, like a proper gentleman.
Kyouko stepped out slowly, her modest dress swaying in the sea breeze, and smiled at him.
Haruki held out his hand once again.
Without hesitation, Kyouko placed her hand in his, their fingers naturally intertwining again.
Their steps fell into rhythm as they headed toward the restaurant.
Haruki stepped forward, still gently holding Kyouko’s hand.
"Table for two, under the name Nakagawa Haruki?" he asked politely.
The hostess at the front desk looked down at her reservation list and smiled warmly.
"Yes, right this way."
Haruki gave Kyouko a soft glance, and she responded with a graceful smile as they followed the hostess. Her hand never left his—fingers still gently intertwined, as if neither of them wanted to let go.
They were led to a cozy corner table beside a large window, overlooking the glowing coastline. The golden hour light spilled in, casting a warm glow across Kyouko’s face.
Haruki pulled out her chair first, just as he always did.
Kyouko sat down with a quiet, elegant motion. "Thank you, darling," she said softly.
Haruki sat opposite her, but his gaze never left her face. She looked stunning—even in a simple dress, without makeup, without any effort.
Just Kyouko.
Just his Kyouko.
"Shall we look at the menu?"
Kyouko glanced at the menu for a moment, then gently pointed to one of the dishes.
"I want this," she said with a soft, contented smile.
Haruki leaned slightly forward. "I want the same."
"No~" Kyouko playfully narrowed her eyes. "You take the other set. That way, we can share."
Haruki chuckled and nodded. "Oh, right~."
The waiter stepped forward politely. Haruki ordered for both of them—one seafood set with grilled fish and delicate sides, and the other a premium Okinawan beef course. Just as the waiter was about to step away, Haruki casually added, "And a bottle of wine, please."
"Certainly, sir."
As the waiter left, Kyouko rested her elbow lightly on the table, her chin in her hand, her eyes softly gleaming under the warm lights.
Their fingers gradually found each other again across the table—fingertips brushing, then naturally intertwining.
Outside the window, the evening breeze carried the scent of the ocean. Inside, everything was warm. Peaceful. Just the two of them.
Sharing.
Smiling.
Loving.
While waiting for their food, the atmosphere between them was calm and warm. Haruki gently adjusted the wine glasses while Kyouko quietly checked something in her purse.
"Hmm? Kyouko?"
The familiar voice made her freeze.
Her fingers stopped mid-motion. Her eyes slowly lifted.
