A Journey That Changed The World.-Chapter 1260: Did I Do Good My King
Chapter 1260: Did I Do Good My King
Archer placed the pizza and drinks on the table, which caught the five women's attention as it was something that they hadn't seen before. Their heads snapped in the food's direction as Leira started sniffing the air as her tail excited swayed.
"What have you cooked now?" Nefertiti commented with an excited expression while scanning the food.
He used Mana Manipulation to cut the pizzas into slices while answering the succubus with a charming smile. "It's called a pizza. I used to love this stuff when I was a little boy, and I'm hoping you girls will enjoy it."
Following that, Archer handed each woman a slice and the expressions he received made him chuckle as he found it adorable. Leira was sniffing hers while her tail swayed side to side in excitement as the food completely enticed her.
'She seems to like it. That's a good thing I guess,' he thought while looking at the purple-haired young woman.
"It smells so different but good," Leira said with a big smile.
Nefertiti, Colestah, and Nayeli all nodded in agreement, their faces lighting up with joy before they dove into their food. Happy moans of satisfaction echoed around the table as they savored every bite.
Archer couldn't help but smile at their reactions, a sense of pride swelling in his chest as he began getting to his own slice after taking out some dragon ale. He picked up the hot, steaming pizza, watching as wisps of heat curled up from the slice.
The rich scent of tomato sauce hit his nose, teasing his senses, and without a second thought, he took a bite. The flavors exploded in his mouth, delicious, perfectly seasoned, and he couldn't help but grin.
"Tastes exactly how it did when I was a kid,' he mused, just as Thalion rushed into the room.
He knelt down next to Archer while speaking in a concerned voice as he lowered his head, "We have a swarm of monsters closing in from the south who are being led by a fearsome creature."
"Perfect! It's time that you show me why you're the Oathkeeper Commander," he announced. "And I want you to show our guests how powerful my bodyguard is."
When the ladies heard this, they looked surprised but Leira protested, "I want to eat though Arch!"
He chuckled while waving them away before speaking, "Bring the pizza, we can eat while watching Thalion fight the boss."
Following that, they all left the house, only to see a smoke cloud in the distance. Archer was watching this while eating a slice of pizza, "Thal, if you die I will come find you in the underworld and beat your ass. Don't disappoint me."'
When the giant knight heard that, he shivered before saluting, "Yes my king! I won't lose."

The other three Oathkeepers appeared behind the group, which made Colestah and Nayeli jump. Archer chuckled before reassuring the Water Elves, "Don't worry, they won't hurt you. They're here to guard me."'
Ten minutes later, the swarm of monsters got close, and he instantly felt the Terravian aura coming from behind the creatures. 'Sneaky motherfucker, let's have Ari kill them,' he thought with a smirk.
'Ari, can you visit me beautiful?' he sent a message to the Elemental woman.
A minute didn't pass as the white-haired beauty materialized in front of him with a big smile as she spoke, "Afternoon husband, what can I do for you?"
"There's a group of Terravian's behind the horde," Archer said while pointing in the direction. "Can you capture them for me, please? I have to arrange a fight between the boss and Thalion."
The Elemental agreed with a nod, "I will be back shortly darling," she said before leaning forward and gave him a kiss.
She vanished in the blink of an eye, leaving the four women staring at Archer in stunned silence. Nayeli's eyes widened in horror, her voice rising with disbelief. "You've got a ghost for a lover!"
Archer couldn't help but burst into laughter at the absurdity of it. Wiping a tear from his eye, he turned to the elf with a smirk. "She's an Elemental, not a ghost," he explained, still chuckling. "Trust me, if she were, I'd be in a lot more trouble."
As the monstrous swarm drew nearer, he stepped forward with unwavering resolve. Taking a deep breath, he unleashed an earth-shaking roar that reverberated through the air, causing the very ground beneath them to tremble.
The sound was deafening, and the women instinctively covered their ears, wincing at the force of it. The creatures faltered, momentarily frozen in their tracks, caught in the sheer power of his roar.
Archer's eyes narrowed as the enemy monsters remained frozen in place, their movements halted by his roar. But then, through the chaos, he spotted the leader-an enormous troll clad in heavy, battle-worn armor.
Its towering frame seemed to block out the sky as it slowly advanced toward them, gripping a massive greatsword that gleamed ominously in the dim light. Each step it took sent tremors through the ground.
Seconds later, Thalion stepped forward, his sword glowing as he raised it with purpose. The troll let out a thunderous roar that shook the air before charging at the Oathkeeper with surprising speed, its massive form barreling forward.
Archer stood frozen for a moment, watching intently as the knight remained perfectly calm, as the troll swung its colossal greatsword with devastating force, aiming to crush Thalion in a
single blow.
But with lightning-fast reflexes, the commander intercepted the strike, deflecting the monstrous blade with a resounding clash of steel. The redirected force sent the troll's weapon slamming into the ground, creating a crater where he had stood moments before.
Without hesitation, Thalion stepped forward into the opening and unleashed a flurry of powerful blows. The troll staggered back, its armor dented and cracked under the assault, as the Oathkeeper's blade carved through its defenses.
Archer watched as the enemy monster roared in frustration, its speed matched by Thalion's skill. He could see the gleam of determination in the commander's moves as he darted past a downward slash, sidestepping the debris.
Thalion moved in close, his sword flashing as he struck the troll's exposed side, sparks flying from its battered armor. Then, like a predator waiting for the perfect moment, he shifted behind the troll, dodging another swing.
With a sudden burst of speed, he crouched low and swept his blade in a clean arc across the back of the troll's legs. The monstrous creature let out a pain-filled roar of pain as it buckled, the muscle giving way beneath Thalion's strike.
The ground trembled as the troll collapsed to its knees, its massive frame vulnerable. Without hesitation, Thalion surged forward. His sword glowed faintly with an ethereal light as he raised it high, his voice ringing out in a battle cry that echoed through the forest.
In one fluid, devastating motion, he drove the blade deep into the back of the troll's neck, severing its spine and silencing its roar. The troll's massive body slumped forward, lifeless, as the Oathkeeper stood victorious amid the carnage.
When the rest of the monster horde saw this, they got angry, but it was too late as the Void Worms, Broodmaws, Nightmare Ants and Venomwings descended on them. Archer summoned thousands while Thalion was battling the troll.
As this was happening, the Oathkeeper Commander approached and dropped to one knee as he spoke, "Did I do good, my king?"
"Yes, you did, Thal," Archer replied with a wide, proud smile. "Now rest while my monsters handle the rest of these creatures."
With that, his summoned beasts tore through the enemy monsters, shredding them mercilessly before hurling the remains into the Domain to be converted into nourishment for
the realm.
Once the task was complete, he turned his attention to the women, who were busy with their pizza. Following that, Archer let the four back into the house as Leira appeared beside him
with a big smile.
"Have you got more pizza, handsome? I can smell it," she asked with a sparkle in her green
eyes.
They all settled in the living room as he pulled out more food, which the women eagerly devoured. The cat woman leaned over with a soft purr and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Arch. I've been starving today, and it's getting worse," she said with a playful smile. Hearing her words, Archer grinned and conjured up an assortment of Earth foods, burgers, hot dogs, and other treats. The unexpected feast left the young woman wide-eyed in surprise.
"Is this all for me?" Leira asked with a smile.
He nodded before taking a hot dog while speaking with an excited smile, "I'll have one, but
the rest is yours, gorgeous."
Afterward, the group continued eating and talking before Colestah let out a yawn, causing Nefertiti to speak. "Would you like to come have a bath?" she asked.
