A Husband For Killer Mom-Chapter 204 - 204 Ch. 204 Is There Any Good News?
204 Ch. 204 Is There Any Good News?
It has been two months since Richard and his wife went to Hammilton to attend Leonard’s anniversary ball. Stanley and Raymond had also returned to their homeland—Richard, Anxia, and Lori were back in London.
The day after the ball, Anxia told Richard about the mysterious girl she met and spoke about something only her mother and Anxia knew. From Anxia’s narration, Richard was sure that Anxia’s mother had successfully located Anxia’s whereabouts. Alas, Richard hasn’t discovered his mother-in-law’s position or the older woman’s purpose in watching Anxia from behind the scenes.
Richard strengthened his program’s security system and tightened protection for his wife and daughter. Even though Anxia could more than protect herself, Richard still placed several trusted bodyguards to protect his wife.
Until one day…
“Anxia, ??has there been any good news?”
“What good news?”
“We’ve been doing it since two months ago. Is there no sign?”
“Sign?” For the first time, Anxia’s brain became sluggish, and she didn’t understand what her husband was talking about. But when Richard’s hand stroked her stomach in a circular motion, and she remembered what happened two months ago on their anniversary, a blush graced Anxia’s cheeks.
Anxia smacked her husband’s shoulder playfully when she saw a mischievous glint in her husband, who was looking at her seductively.
.....
“Why are you in such a rush to have children?”
“So what? Since returning from Birmingham, we have done it almost every day. I like hearing your voice the most… Hmph!”
Anxia immediately held her husband’s mouth with one hand as she glared fiercely at Richard.
What’s wrong with her husband? Did the man not realize where they were now? There were servants and their daughter who occasionally passed by the corridors of their house and heard their words.
Anxia glared fiercely at her husband when she felt him smile beneath her palms. To make matters worse, Richard even stuck out his tongue and licked her palm as if he were licking ice cream. Unable to bear her husband’s flirtatious manner, Anxia withdrew her hand and wiped her palms on her husband’s shirt.
“You haven’t changed at all!” her scolding made Richard chuckle.
“And your expressions were as breathtaking as ever,” joked Richard, then lowered his head to plant a kiss on his wife’s forehead. “But, don’t you feel nauseous at all? No sign?”
Anxia took a deep breath seeing her husband’s expectant look. They had indeed had conjugal relations many times since returning from the Heinest family castle. But until now, there was no sign that Anxia was pregnant, so Anxia didn’t think too much about it.
“Nothing.”
“Have you tested it with a pregnancy test kit?” f𝐫ee𝘄ℯ𝚋no𝐯𝐞l.c𝘰m
“Hhhh… What did I do it for? I’ll be pregnant if it’s time for me to get pregnant.” Anxia patted her husband’s chest in a playful gesture and then turned to the lounge.
Since it was Saturday, Lori didn’t go to school, and Anxia decided to accompany her daughter to draw or assemble geometric blocks into a building. Even though Anxia looked indifferent and didn’t care whether she was pregnant, she felt uneasy deep inside her heart.
When she did it with Richard the first time, Anxia conceived immediately and didn’t want the fetus at all. Now, after she did it with Richard based on the love that was formed, her pregnancy didn’t come for some reason.
That day, Anxia and Richard accompanied Lori to play and learn something new that was fun while having fun. Anxia kept her mood upbeat and laughed with her family. ƒ𝔯𝗲𝗲𝙬𝒆𝚋𝐧oѵℯl.𝒄𝑜m
But… she couldn’t shake off the uneasiness that enveloped her heart.
Ultimately, she decided to secretly go to the gynecologist without Richard knowing.
On Monday, after making sure that Lori went to school as usual and Richard went to work, Anxia went to the nearest hospital to check her womb.
She even had to warn her bodyguards not to let her husband know, and luckily, they complied as they were more afraid of Anxia than Richard.
Well, they couldn’t help it… even though Richard paid the salary and had the right to fire them, their employer sometimes preferred to listen to his wife and act like a child when he was with Anxia. You could say, Anxia was the actual employer.
All of Richard’s money, property, and assets also belonged to Anxia, and that’s what Richard said when he introduced his wife to all his employees. In addition, Anxia had a mysterious and dangerous aura, as if she was a lioness preparing to catch her prey behind the weeds. Almost all the officials were more afraid of offending their Mistress than their Master, considering Anxia sometimes had this unreasonable mood and got their hands tied.
But sometimes, Anxia would also give them bonuses and tolerate their mistakes just like Richard so that everyone would become dear to their Mistress. Plus, they have a little young lady who is super friendly, fun, and adorable, making everyone willing to be loyal to Calvins. It was so unlike the other wealthy families or the Heinest family in Birmingham—especially Lady Madeline and Quinn, who treated their maids arbitrarily so that all the maids didn’t feel affection and only worked for money.
All the servants at Calvin’s residence felt valued and worked not just to make a living. They already consider the Calvin family as their family and take care of and look after this house like they take care of their own.
The relationship Richard wanted to create was a family regardless of his servants or business partners. However, if one meant harm to him or his family, Richard would not forgive that person so quickly.
That’s why Richard couldn’t stand it when he met Quinn at Leonard Heinest’s ball, even though it seemed that the girl had given up on bothering him.
Likewise, Anxia didn’t forgive people who did bad things to her easily, so she could understand why Richard asked her to leave the hall when Quinn entered the same room with them.
Now that Anxia recalled the event at the ball, she couldn’t help but remember her encounter with the mysterious girl.
‘Heaven is fair, and no one is exempt. The only one who can help you is yourself.’
Anxia looked out the window, staring at the night view with an unfocused stare.
‘Mom, are you still alive?’
